2. Daylight discs
3. Radar/visual
4. CE-I (Close Encounter of the First Kind) to denote a close observation.
5. CE-II (Close Encounter of the Second Kind) to denote cases where physical evidence is left by the UFO, i.e. ground traces, electromagnetic effects on motors, physiological effects.
6. CE-III (Close Encounter of the Third Kind) to denote cases where occupants are reported in addition to the object.
Researchers have recently expanded this terminology to include CE-IV for alleged abductions.
