Physical Evidence Related to UFO Reports (Sturrock Panel): Radar Evidence
Peter Sturrock / Sturrock Panel Report / Physical Evidence Related to UFO Reports
Velasco presented information on radar cases drawn in part from the files of GEPAN/SEPRA (see Appendix 1). He pointed out that one catalog (the "Weinstein catalog" now under development at GEPAN/SEPRA), with 489 cases in all, contains 101 (21%) radar/visual cases (cases that involve both radar detection and visual observation), and the files of the US Air Force Blue Book project contain 363 cases of which 76 (21%) are radar/visual cases.

Physical Evidence Related to UFO Reports (Sturrock Panel): Injuries to Vegetation
Peter Sturrock / Sturrock Panel Report / Physical Evidence Related to UFO Reports
In some cases that involve an apparent disturbance to the soil, there may also be an apparent injury to vegetation. Velasco stated that four such cases have been investigated by GEPAN/SEPRA: the "Christelle" case of November 27, 1979; the "Trans-en-Provence" case of January 8, 1981; the "Amarante" case of October 21, 1982; and the "Joe le Taxi" case of September 7, 1987.

VehicleInterference
Physical Evidence Related to UFO Reports (Sturrock Panel): Vehicle Interference
Peter Sturrock / Sturrock Panel Report / Physical Evidence Related to UFO Reports
Rodeghier reviewed a small but important fraction of UFO reports that are said to involve effects on electric lights, automobiles, and other machines of various sorts. These reports have occurred throughout the modern era of UFO reports (since 1947) and come from all over the world, although (as with all UFO reports) they come primarily from Western nations. Of such reports, those that involve claims of vehicle (mainly automobile) interference have received most attention. One such case is discussed below.

Physical Evidence Related to UFO Reports (Sturrock Panel): Ground Traces
Peter Sturrock / Sturrock Panel Report / Physical Evidence Related to UFO Reports
A few of the reports that have been investigated by GEPAN/SEPRA show ground traces that may be associated with the events reported by witnesses. Similar cases have been documented by other investigators. Phillips (1975) prepared a catalog of 561 such cases as a CUFOS report.

UFOs: The Physical Evidence - Overwhelming – But As Elusive As Ever
Michael Jordan, Journal of Alternative Realities, Volume 10, Issue 1, 2002
Any scientific study of the UFO enigma seems inevitably to result in frustrating ambiguity and contradiction. Really worthwhile UFO reports are frequently characterized by high strangeness, evasiveness, resistance to scholarly investigation and a seemingly unavoidable, bewildering array of conclusions. It would appear that the best prospect for achieving a meaningful evaluation of relevant hypotheses is likely to come from the examination of physical evidence.

Book: The UFO Enigma: A New Review of the Physical Evidence
Peter Sturrock
In a major report commissioned by Laurance S. Rockefeller, world-renowned scientists debate the physical evidence in puzzling cases presented by UFO investigators. THE UFO ENIGMA overrides the Condon Report and concludes that there is much we could learn from further study of the phenomenon-if the evidence is carefully collected and scientifically analyzed.

Australian UFO Physical Trace Cases - A Review
Bill Chalker
The physical trace phenomenon is an enduring aspect of the UFO mystery, having manifested for the entire duration of the modern era of the UFO controversy. And like the UFO phenomenon itself, it is global in its extent. This range of events appears to substantiate the contention that UFOs possess a physical dimension.

UFO Briefing Document - Case Histories: 1989-1990 UFO Sighting Wave in Belgium
UFO Briefing Document
From October 1989 throughout 1990, hundreds of reports of lighted objects, frequently described as enormous and triangular in shape were recorded in Belgium. Air Force supersonic F-16 jets chased these strange objects, which were simultaneously tracked by both airborne and ground radars. The Belgian Government cooperated fully with civilian UFO investigators, an action without precedent in the history of government involvement in this field.

CIA reports on Chinese UFO studies
CIA (reprinted by UFOs at Close Sight)
An extract of a 4 page religious, political, cultural review of Asian countries, in which it is said that China's interest in UFO around 1980 can be seen by the interest of Chinese scientists in historical UFO cases in ancient China. We learn that there is a UFO controversy in China, that Chinese historians study traces of ancient UFO cases or presence, and that there are private ufology groups editing magazines in China just like in the Western world.
