Appearance / Description of Object(s)

As pictured the objects vary somewhat in appearance. The left one appears to have several concentric bulges, perhaps displaying a different angle than the two others. Center object appears to be a flat disc perhaps traveling quickly left to right. The right side object has an obvious metallic shine on top and what looks like some kind of antenna structure at rear left.

Size of Object(s)

Seeing as they appear to be decently behind the balloons and rock formations, the appear to be about 50 feet in diameter, perhaps a bit smaller. No way for me to determine actual size.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

Roughly 4 miles distant or a little less. Altitude aprox. 1500-2000 feet a.g.l.

Description of Area / Surroundings

The obvious Sedona red rock structures as pictured, do not know of military bases, etc.

These objects were photographed behind the Sedona Summit resort at about 6:00 am on July 13, 2011. I was facing a westerly direction with the sun low and directly behind be. The rock formation behind the balloons is aprox. 3 miles+ distant from my location. Too far away to be birds and there was no normal aircraft activity in sight.

Conditions were nearly windless (balloon weather) and close to perfectly silent at that time of day. These objects were not readily visible to the naked eye and I have no clue as to what they may be.

Canon late model still camera on auto exposure, 8x zoom.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

Balloons as pictured. They always stay close together, we saw them every day and knew their pattern. Cloudless morning, too distant to be birds, no aircraft seen or heard at all. All three of the objects have a metallic sheen on their top sides, easier to see on enlargement of photo.

Always find the subject fascinating. I have a bit of an agnostic approach to the subject; if I see any I may believe. Easier to believe in some kind of life in this vast cosmos than thinking we are totally alone....odds are in favor of us having company out there....

Shockingly surprised when first viewing this photo. This was the middle of three "balloon" photos taken that morning within seconds of each other. No other objects aside from the yellow balloons in either of the other photos.

Bright orange lights about twice the size of stars. Were approximate size of airplanes taking off from nearby John Wayne - though the orange lights and precise formation were different. Obviously different objects - you could see the normal stars between them as they passed by.

No idea of actual size. Formation was constellation-sized.

about 45 degrees from the horizon in the southern sky.

Suburban - downtown Huntington Beach. Lights were over the ocean.

6-8 orange-red lights flying slowly in formation in a northerly direction. One of the south-most lights changed position quickly - then all but two of the lights quickly faded away. The final two lingered for a minute more, before quickly fading themselves.

Entire sighting lasted about 3-5 minutes. I called my girlfriend out to look, and her first impression was that it was "Orion."

Possibly aircraft - though the way they disappeared, the unusual color, and the speed with which the one changed position makes me doubt.

at first my family was driving home from rumson nj and as were going home a bright light appeared over the rumson high school parking lot.we stopped to check it out..it was about the size of the football field.huge..no noise at all.a few other cars parked and one came into the parking lot crying and said it was only several feet above his home..was crying holding his new born. i got out of the car and when i got back in...all the cars were gone everything seemed ok...but as i get older i remember being abducted..was physically intruded ..also spoke to one of the beings...telepothically..he assured me all was ok...then took me to a window and seemed to show me the universe and where they came from.haunts me to this day...

Tonight on august 12th myt friend and I were driving home. Its been raining and was cloudy. When it wasn't raining we suddenly saw an estimate of 6 stationary red/orange lights. They were not moving at all. At first I thought it was a meteorite but realized it showed no characteristics of one as usually they fizzle like fireworks when entering the earth atmosphere. Couldn't of been a plane or helicopter for there was no noise and gave off an unusual orange/red light dots. Nothing like lights from an aircraft. As we drove closer and ended up right

under one of the lights it shined very bright in a stationary state and then slowly vanished in the cloud cover like as if you saw the

Clouds starting to swallow the moon and then poof gone.

I was looking up at the night sky and watching the stars. I saw satalites that were tiny specks in the sky and a few airplanes flying with their blinking lights and I could clearly hear the sound of their engines in the distance. After about 15 minutes, I saw something come from behind a tree. The object was a bright yellowish bulb slowly moving and was noticably closer than the planes and satalites had been. The object proceeded to move from my right hand side to the left slowly. Then I also noticed and became very aware that the object was making absolutely no sound unlike the planes that had previously flown by. I watched as the object moved across the sky then the light appeared to be getting smaller and moving upward into the sky until it was no longer visible.
