Rural mountain country, a large pine and fir forest, Six Rivers National Forest, Dinsmore, CA not near any military base, not near anything.

My wife and I were on our mountain property near the town of Dinsmore, CA. The time was apprximately one hour after dark and we were still outside our trailer cleaning up some tools we had left outside after working on some project.
Two bright, bluish white saucer-shaped objects came flying towards us from the north. They were flying at an altitude of about one thousand feet and they were moving at a speed of approximately one hundred miles and hour. The sky was crystal clear, black with no clouds and a multitude of stars. The objests seemed to wobble and one was chasing the other. When the objects got overhead they sped up to a speed of about ten thousand miles an hour then continued to chase eachother as they made right angle turns then streaked eastward. They both gained a lot of altitude, approximately ten thousand feet. They left vapor trails as they sped out of sight.
Our mountain property is at an altitude of four thousand feet and our neares neighbor is approximately a mile away.
I have seen a number of other UFO's but nothing as clear as this one. I've seen no other UFO sightings since this one. We have sold the property

I've read a lot about UFO. Given the size of our galaxy and the size of the known universe anyone would be a fool to deny life somewhere else in the universe

I worked for RCA Service Company from 1960 to 1962 on the BMEWS Project as a hydraulic technician. I helped run the most powerful radar in Thule Greenland. We tracked lots of UFO's back then but we were forbidden to talk about it. I was a civilian working for RCA and contracted by the US Air Force. I wokded in Thule, Greenland
