Full Description & Details
Saw it while driving on the job. Checked for the moon, which was visible but further south and not full. Opened the window and took off glasses to make sure it wasn't a reflection. As it disappeared the clear blue sky showed behind until there was nothing but clear blue sky. Thought of a mylar balloon filled with helium that turned to it's side but that would leave a line, especiallly as big as it would have to be to look like a full moon. There was nothing trailing from the bottom, no features of any kind, and by the count of five or six it was completely gone, not in a flash or gradual phasing out, or even like a balloon losing air quickly, but in sections, one after the other, left to right. Looked for a news report but never heard or read anything about it. Someone else had to have seen it, about mid-morning and big as life, sitting there to the East and a little North of town.
