Rural countryside but close to the city of Metz. Power ditibution transformers center in the oposite direction about 2 mile away.

Daylight sighting (early evening) brilliant sphere high up in the sky in the east, moving some times slow and some times very fats in a zig-zag or 90° movement. A single military fighter plane came towards it and the object went away at high speed to the east. Duration of the event about 5 minutes. My wife and I watched from our living room window, unfortunatly we didnt have a camera to hand but we were both amazed...

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I like the subject and have interest in astronomy but would not describe myself as a UFO enthusiaste. Until i saw this I was very sceptical in my mind that there were ufos but now i'm open minded.

Other Comments

Not a star, nor a planet, not a heliocopter... Definetly not a plane. I'll never know.
