I just want to add to the sighting in Durban on the same date, me and a couple of friends had a all nighter playing computer games over a LAN. I went outside around 4am for a leak and to my surprise i saw this saucer/oval shaped flying object hovering over a house about 50m away from where i was, it was about 20-30m in the air. It was completely silent and it had some sort of cloak to it, cant explain it really....it had like a type of smoke covering it and moving in the same direction (anti clock wise). It had purple/gray/blue lights eveywhere. i quickly called 3 of my mates to come and watch, we starred at it for about 30min before going back in. the next day i told my mother, she told my grandmother and she responded said that my grandmother saw the reporting on the news, aparently there was a sighting 4am in Durban caught on film, it looked similar to my sighting.

It was a great experience and def raises a few questions to the paranormal.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

it was very close to us, and it was huge, nothing like i have ever seen before

It always struck me as a hoax to scare people or aid myths and mystery. Most of the videos online look fake too. I know that the Nazis worked on a hover craft the shape of a UFO in the 40's
