15:30 On my way to Michigan Governer's Residence to work on security systems. Sitting on freeway exit ramp on upward incline (5 deg?) facing west north west waiting for traffic to clear.

I see a Boeing 727 accelerating after takeoff from Lansing Airport. The 727 is gaing alititude gently tracing a path from my left to right. (Air corrador runs approximatly north east to south west in that area). Flight path is just above the center of my view through windshield. Aircraft is backlit approximatly 30 deg to my left. Sun is not directly visible from my location. Shortly after 727 came into view (fist width at arm length) I saw what appeared to be a bright spherical object aproach the 727 from behind and slightly below at very high velocity (two to three times speed of 727). The object raced past the 727, traveled about five or six times the length of the aircraft and came to an abrupt stop. Reversed course and flew past 727 at hight rate of speed ascross and in forground of 727. Traveled aproximately 1/3 of the length of 727 past tail and made an extreemly tight, slightly inclined turn around 727 tail to the left. (Incline was down to up within verticle dimension of tail fin). The object flew paralell to 727 to point approximatly 1/4 727 length from tail and started to corkscrew spiral around 727 at about twice the 727's ground speed parallel to 727's flight path. Dimention of spiral relaitive to 727 appeared as if it just cleared the main wings. Object spiraled past 727 to about one and a half times 727 length and reversed course to 727 on flat tragectoy opposing 727...there is more...
