It was the summer of 1976 " I could be off on the year" anyway my dad my brother my cousun and myself were fishing on a canal back in Blythe,CA. I was about 16 and my brother was 11 and my cousin was around 9 im guessing..Blythe is a small farming community in on the border of Califorina and Arizona. We went to a canal where we always go to fishing for Talipa this time was the last time. My dad had a white oldsmobile station wagon that ran perfect, thats important for later. My cousin and I went ferther down the canal than my dad and brother we were about a avg city block from the car , my dad and brother were about 60 feet away I would say....it was pretty later not sure of the time but I would say around 10pm or so, it was clear that night ,I remember this because I was looking up at the stars when I noticed what I thought was a falling star, I yelled at my cousin look a falling star! It kept falling and getting bigger and bigger and it looked like it was real close, it was clear to me and my family that this was not a falling star, It was HUGE and right over the other side of the canal bank.......it lit up the entire area like it was day light, it was all lights,blue ,green,red,yellow multi colors swirling in a random pattern, I could not see a definate shape to it , I glanced down the bank and I could see my dad and brother scrambling up the bank towards the car , then the lights went down behind the otherside of the bank, at this point my cousin dropped everything and scrambled up the bank and so did I, we ran as fast as we could back to the car. By the time we got to the car my dad and brother were already in the car and my dad was trying to start it , it would not start, nothing , not even a click,no lights no power to turn the engine over. This car had never done that. Then all of a sudden the lights came on and my dad started the car just fine. We got out of there FAST.

Some people believe me, some don't, I really don't care one way or the other I know what I saw and so do the others. I've never seen anything like it since.

As far back as you look in history the proof is there.

I never even thought about it until that night, now I will never forget it.
