Not sure on size, it seems huge, but to a kids anything in the air was huge.

bright in color with a ring around the object. The ring was colorful and bright.

Full Description & Details

I was 9 years old and heading home from a babysitting job in the summer of 1965. I said good night to the family and said I would see them tomorrow. I left, I was about three minutes from their home when I notice an object in the sky. It was nightfall, the stars were out and it was very clear. I am not sure why I looked up. I looked up and saw the bright light. At first I wasn't scared. I was curious, but as I moved it began to move with me, I ran and it was faster than myself. It was in front of me in a matter of a split second. I stopped to gaze up at it and it hovered above. Then all of a sudden it moved, It moved like lightening. I couldn't believe how fast it moved. I was terrified, I could feel my heart beating, then I stopped being scared and stood there watching it and it seemed like hours, but it was only a few minutes. I wasn't frightened anymore, not sure why I wasn't. But I do remember looking up as it moved in a quick motion. Like a quick jerk. then it was in another position. It did this for three positions and then it left so quickly, you couldn't see where it went. Like magic. I started walking home fast. On my way, my brother met me. Was coming to check up on me. I guess, I was running late, it only takes about ten minutes to get home from their home, I took time to watch the object and wasn't keeping track of time. My father worried and sent my brother to see if I was playing around. I never told him what I saw. I am not sure why? But to this very day, I have told but only four people, my husband, two sons and a friend. I never mentioned it again. I found out what they were when I got into high school. When it was a topic in our english class. I suddenly remembered the object I viewed when I was 9 and realized what I saw was a UFO. I kept asking question upon question and couldn't get my hunger for the topic satisfactory. So I began to read about UFOs. After the year of high school ended, I never thought much of the sighting. I seem to reflect on it now and again. And wonder?

Other Comments

I know what I witness back in 1965 was a UFO. I know that for sure now. I think about it more and more. The more I ponder, the more convinced I witnessed a UFO.
