It was located west of the star that rises in the southwest this time of year (the star that is first visible at dusk), but about half that star's distance from the horizon. There was a tick dark layer of moisture low in the sky, but airplanes moving west and east were visible, as well as some stars. There also was thunder and lightning, minor stuff caused by the humidity that day.

The security guard said that she had seen strange phenomena about a year ago that had been reported on Ch 16 news. She described it as 'fingers of light beams' coming down.
