Full Description & Details

We were all standing on a deck at a house on top of the Sumerset Hill neighborhood in Bellevue, WA. Let me note that we were all sober and of a clear state of mind. I have told this story to many people over the years but never to an organization. I am not one to make things up, and this event was probably one of the most mystifying (perhaps almost scary) things I have observed.

At first the large orange lighted object appeared very small to me, and I mentioned it another I was with. It was then that I realized it was much farther away than I originally thought by comparing it to objects near it, such as the space needle and other sky scrapers. It resembled a immense orange blimp perhaps as large as six sky scrapers bundled together. It appeared to rotate so that the back faced us directly and than it flashed like a star twinkle with a slight tracer like effect veering upwards and was gone from all of our sight in an instant. Everyone on that deck recalls it the same as I do and to this day we cannot find any explanation for the strange orange blimp-like light/object over Seattle, I would love to know if there is some sort of celestial or atmospheric explanation.

I would appreciate a logical explanation if there is anything known about such a sighting, or if there was a similar sighting above seattle by a different reporter I would like to know.
