Full Description & Details

I was walking home from the laundry mat. I decided to take a short cut down a small street. I walked down this street and notice the other chidren were playing. As I neared the other children one of them ran over to me. She said look Joe, there is a flying saucer there. I started laughing, and said yeah right. But she convinced me to look up, and there it was. I was amazed. Just sitting there, with red lights turning. The craft did not move, and made absolutely no noise, it was like it was observing us. It seemed so close that I could hit it with a rock. But the girl, who showed the ufo warned me not to. So I did not, I just wanted to see if it were real. I then ran home to find a camera, my house was no more than 20 yards from there. I looked out the rear window of the house but it had disappeared. I went down stairs to let everyone know what I just saw and they laughed at me. I can hardly believe it myself. I was only 8 years old then. I remember telling my grandmother the story, and she telling me to be quiet or they will put me in a crazy home. This all happened on a Friday night in August, around 8 pm. I know this because my favorite show was just coming. Donnie and Marie Osmond. I still wish I had gotten a photo of this. It was probably one of the most fascinating events ever to take place in my life.
