Full Description & Details

You will probably think I am crazy. I was around 12 and walked back through my grandfather's fields to a pond where I used to catch frogs and salamanders. I left the pond and was walking back through the fields when the hair on the back of my neck went up. I thyought maybe I heard something following me but nothing was there. The location was a wide open field and it was a clear sunny day. A thought seemed to occur in my head which said "It's okay, we will not hurt you"." Look up". I saw a disc shaped object about 200 feet above me. The under side of it was a metallic grey or silver, but it was hard to tell as the sun was making me squint and that part was in shadow. I then felt a sensation that is very hard to describe. The closest thing I can compare it to is standing in front of large speakers like at a loud concert, and feeling the vibration of the sound but not hearing anything at all. I felt the vibration for a few seconds. The next thing I remember was running through the field at full speed. I think the vibration scared me into running, at least I hope so. I ran about 1/2 mile back to my house, screaming for my mother, while this thing still floated in the air above me. My mother heard me yelling and came out of the house. She also saw the ufo overing a few hundred feet in the air. This happened the summer after alot of strange lights were seen around the Catskill mountain range.

Now, we lived on the top of a high hill , near the town of Norton Hill, for quite some time and we had a clear unobstructed view of the mountains located about 25 miles away as the crow flies. We stared at this ufo for a few seconds as it hovered, then it shot across the sky and over the mountains in about 3-5 seconds, from a dead stop!!

My mom and I have not spoken about it except to each other as we suspected no one would believe us. I have since gone on to military service and law enforcement. I am familiar with all sorts of military aircraft and their capabilities. There was no way this ufo was a craft from this planet.

So, there it is. I finally spoke about it!
