Silver metal, ribbed where sections met, bolts holding sections together, windows or ports since they were oval or almost round. triangular in shape with rounded sides.

If I held my arms apart my hands would be about 4 foot apart. 60ft wide x 20ft tall.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

It was about 200 ft above my house.

It was in an urban area. Lots of houses. Power plant about 3 miles away.

Full Description & Details

I had just come home from taking my oldest son to a friends house. It was 11:30 pm. I was standing by my van and looked up over the house to see a "plane" gliding over at a very slow speed. I could see the metal and what I thought of as bolts holding the sections together. I could also see what I thought were windows. It was moving very slowly from the North to the South and there was no noise. Not egine noise or any other noise for that matter. It was if the nieghborhood had gone silent. I watched it until it was gone. The shape of it was like one side of a triangle and the edge was rounded. The end of it was what I took to be the end of the "plane's" wing. I did not see any engines of any kind. All of this lasted for what I thought was just a few minutes, maybe five minutes at the most. When I went into the house my husband was very upset with me. He wanted to know what had taken me so long when where I went was only about 15 minutes away. I told him it had only been about 20 minutes since I left and her told me to look at the clock. It was 1:45am.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

I thought it was a plane, but there was no sound and all air traffic was grounded because of 9-11. No, not a natural or man made object.

I have two years of college. At the time this happened I was working at Protel Inc. a company that produces pay phones as a quality control inspecter.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I thought everyone was a little out there on the subject, but not any more!!! I did not think any ufos were real.
