Appearance / Description of Object(s)It was large, and triangular. It was dark against the sky and had one green flashing light. Size of Object(s)It took up a majority of the windshield, so it definately took up the span of the road. I have no idea the actual size of it though. Distance to Object(s) & AltitudeIt was maybe 100 feet above us, just a few feet above the trees. Description of Area / SurroundingsIt was near Hollis Crossroads, over a major highway, but in a rural area. Full Description & Details3 friends and myself were driving in 2 seperate vehicles to Anniston. It was around 6:15 P.M. It was dusk but there was still some light in the sky. We had just turned at Hollis crossroads when we saw a large object move right above us, very low to the ground. It was triangular and took up most of our field of vision on the windshield. It had one flashing green light, but didn't look like any plane we had ever seen before. If it was a plane, it was flying either very low, or was enormous. It also moved too slowly, it appeared, to be any normal airplane. There is also not an airport or airstrip near by, as if it again was a plane, it would've had to been either taking off or landing. When we arrived at school the following Monday, we found that another person had also seen it in the same area. It was unlike anything we had ever seen before. Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object? It couldn't have been a natural object, because of the light. It didn't appear to be conventional aircraft, and was too low to be. I do want it checked out to see if it wasn't possibly an airplane. Witness BackgroundI'm a high school student, along with the other witnesses. Views on UFOs, before and after sightingI knew alot about them, I suppose. I was interested somewhat when I was a kid, but since then I haven't had any opinion on the subject. I belived it was possible, but I wasn't positive on the subject. Now I feel like I have more exidence to believe in them, but I still want to see if it can't be explained before I make a conclusion. Other CommentsIt was a totally unique experience, and I can't explain it. Reported Sighting?NoYour Location:Ashland, AL USA |
