Sightings of a UFO in Sydney, Australia in August 2006 were, in fact, an advertising blimp with custom-built lighting for night-time flights to make it appear like a "classic" UFO (bright dome, and revolving lights underneath)

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

As above, it is/was an advertising blimp

Oval - Glowing Amber Color. 2 very small blinking blue lights in comparision to the object itself.

The road we were on starts out as rural and becomes more built up. We pass the Johnston Landfill and there are some power plants in the distance.

My Sister, my 17yr old nephew and myself were driving down Route 14 (Plainfield Pike) RI - and saw a glowing oval in the sky. We started joking around about what it could be - then realized we had no idea what it was. We thought maybe a blimp or something as it was moving very slowly and occasionally seemed to stop moving. We pulled over on the side of the road to watch how it moved. It wasn't like anything we had ever seen before so my sister took 2 photographs of it from a distance. We got back in the car and started to drive again. We lost sight of it behind the trees. As we passed Comstock - we saw it again this time it was much closer. So we pulled over again and my sister took a 3rd picture of it. It was still moving very slowly and now we could see 2 blinking blue lights on it. We got back in the car and got onto the highway 295 North hoping it would bring us closer to it. We lost sight of it again until we crossed over Killingly Street - where we could see it again - only now it was further away and was moving at a much greater speed. We couldn't pull off the highway and eventually lost sight of it again.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

We are unsure as to what a weather balloon would like and at first I thought it might be a blimp advertising something. We would love an explanation because we really don't think it was either.

I had seen occasional shows on tv about sightings but they usually come off as being kind of fake. I guess I thought most people who reported sightings were a bit kooky... but didn't totally discredit the idea that people may have seen something.

three beams, one pencil thin,then one the size of a football field in length, then a third beam also pencil shaped in width. observed from about 8 miels away approximetly 400 or 600 ft high. they were reddish orange very florecent like an actual ray beam. best possible discription is something outve startrek teletransporter.

the city skyline and its buildings could be seen from the appartment complex, and aloma road 436 road a major heaveliy trafficed route clouse to the city of winterpark a suburb of downtown orlando.

we were outside on the portch of my freinds apartment looking at the sky when bam!!! just like that we saw these three beams of lights. there was at least 10 secounds between each beam. the crazy thing about it is one of the beams was at least the size of a football field. the beams did not go all the way down to the ground, they very briefly paused at the point in whitch they stopped and then shot back-up into the thick cloud bank that was directly over downtown orlando. we had been having rain and thunderstorm earlier that night and it had cleared up around midnight new years eve. i was spending the night with my good friend mike edgeington, his girl freind was spending the new years with her parents out of town. we had stepped outside to smoke a ciggaret and get some fresh air as it had stopped raining and it was about to turn into the new year; when we saw the beams. we talked about it for a long time and we come to the conclussion that a very very large unseen craft had hidden in the clould bank over the city of orlando. its not near the air port but its close to known air routes. i absolutely positive that those beams were not from a man made craft!!! no not a search light not a blimplite not from a plane in the clouds . i dont know for sure what it was but i know what it wasnt. i aformer marine, i was in an infantry unit 2nd battalion 7th marines regiment from 1986-1990 and i haven been on many helicopters and seen many conventional aircraft in my day and i have never seen anything that looks like what we saw. it was like something outve science fiction.

i used ta live in honduras c.a. and had two sightings there at the ages of 14 and 16 years old. also had another one here in orlando in 1999. i listen to coast to coast since 1994. i have several books, and since my sightings as teenager i have always made a point to observe the skies. i do believe they are here, what for? i dont known, but sure as hell want to know.

Pure White luminous Circular object emitting a white trail of white gas. Gas disappeared as soon as it appeared.

For actual size, i would say this object was larger that a commerical aircraft. Relative size, my arms have to be fully stretched to cover the object.

At approx. 10.00pm 28th, August 2006, while outside in my garden working out, doing some benchpresses, directly about me I saw a white luminous object travelling at tremendous speed which I initially thought was a shooting star. At a second glance i realised that this object was not a shooting star by the way it travelled and the shape and glow of the object. I have not once seen an object travel so fast. I am a sceptic regarding extraterrestrials but not anymore. I once saw a documently regarding the U.S government developing an aircraft that can orbit the earth in a matter of mins but this object that i saw didnt not even attempt to disguise itself. It was so conspicuous in its appearance.

Previous sceptic but not sure sure now. The sighting was extremely strange, unlike anything i have seen before. If i wasnt in the position i was at the time, i probably would have missed it. I have previous watched clips of ufo sighting but thought they were fakes.

foto was taken from my back garden facing in a south westerly direction.

I was waiting in my back garden for a suitable sunset oppotunity, when I looked towards the south west direction and saw these objects in the distance. Instinctivly, I swung around and snapped of a picture on my digital fujifilm a204 camera. inbetween looking down at the image on the view finder screen and looking up again, the objects were gone.

They appeared to be stationary and on later inspection of the image on my pc, I saw that there were more objects that I first saw.

I thought I had lost the image on a crashed h/d, but just recently managed to recover it.

In 1998, I read the book of " Ufo in Thailand '". It described that people can contact ufo by meditation. So, I tried.

2 week later. About 2 o' clock. I had contact ufo. Suddently, the sudden white-light appeared to me. It was high from the ground about 200 meters. I thank it was related to my meditation because it appear in my line of sight. I wake my 2 brothers.

"Ufo Ufo". It floated from west to east. I had seen it about 3 minuits. then it disappeared.

Bright like a firework. But I think firework can not appear suddently. It must go from ground and can not emit light all the time like this.
