A loud noisy disk crash landed in sand pit, it shook the ground and sent the farm animals running in fear.The year was 1893,locals thought the disk was something used by the government to locate moonshine operations in area. the sandy cross road is connected to a road called sugar run.The saucer left a hugh hole in the sand and part of the saucer was visible and still intact.The locals covered the hole with sand,because they didn't want the government looking around,because moonshine help the locals to survive. For aleast 75 years after the crash,there were magnetic disruptions, like compassses going crazy, tractors starting without turning the crank, becoming dizzy and falling to your knees, birds flying around in circles.Even vision distortions, like someone looking like they were further away then they really were.People just stop talking about it in the 1970's.If you ever check out these events, you may ask about a man who lived there at that time. His name was Luther Jake Ward.He was born may 3,1867-some say he died in the 1930's, and some think he is still alive and looks like a man in his forty's living just over the virginia, north carolina border in Virginia.To me it seems like an over active imagination,something told around campfires for amusement.You be the judge,could this event really have taken place?

Me and my friend were playing dart tag at about dusk and we saw a flying object up in the sky.Then we ran to the house and used binoculars. We saw it had spider-like legs,we werescared and didn't approach the craft.

The object was round in appearance and must have been traveling very very fast it all took place in less than 1 minute

i was in a park near the canterbury area. a black spec in the sky caught my eye. it was a very slow moving sphere. it was no plane or helicopter, it was clearly a round object. i have never seen anything move so slow whilst inflight. i looked away for a second, when i looked back it was gone.

The object looked like a marble white object and the shape was kind of cigar/oval shape. It did't really shine at all.

well it started out as a little star like object then I tearned my head for one second and the star had vanished and then a cigar shaped craft appeared and I looked away one more time and the object had vanished and had never been seen again.

I don't think it could be explained as any man made object,planet,weather ballons,birds or clouds.

The sighting of UFO on Aug. 13, 2006 in Toronto, Canada,

between 12 a.m. and 1 p.m.



UFO was sighted in Centennial Park, near the Pearson Airport.

My wife first saw UFO when it was above the airport, but she thought it were

just several high flying birds, i.e. she saw at that moment a several objects.

When a minute later she took a look at it again, it was already a single flying object

of ellipsoid or cigar shape, which was close to zenith in clear blue sky.

From that moment, I’ve started to watch it too.

UFO was flying on a high altitude – it seemed to be around 10 km,

where commercial jets are usually flying.

It looked like a solid object of silver-white colour, or like a jet or a Moon that

sometime visible in blue skies.

The visible size of the object was around of 1/3 size of a full Moon when it high

in the sky.

UFO moved “by side”, approximately in 45 degrees of direction of its largest

dimension. This is pretty typical for UFOs.

It moved from North to South.

The edges of UFO weren’t as sharp as it would be if it was just a jet on 10 km

altitude. It might happened because of atmospheric refraction, if UFO’s real

altitude was much higher than estimated 10 km.

In that case, its size could be much bigger – maybe hundreds of meters instead

of tens.

In several seconds after I first saw UFO, close to it (on the left and in front of it)

suddenly appeared another, smaller, star like object, which definitely moved

near the biggest one.

However, it was hard to recognize its shape

The both objects just disappeared a few seconds later in clear blue sky.

The length of the sighting was about 1 – 2 minutes.

The lights had no distinct shape from my vantage point. They just appeared to be globes of light. The color is best described as orange / amber, similar to the color of a sodium vapor. The lights were very bright and appeared to illuminate the skies around them.

Size of Object(s)

Relative size = A pencil eraser held at arms length would cover the light. Actual size = Impossible to estimate.

Distance = 15 miles at least. Altitude = Higher than the television and radio towers in the area

I live in a rural area. Fort Hood military base is approximately 35 miles away in the direction of the sighting.

I stepped outside tonight and noticed out of the corner of my eye a bright flickering light on the horizon. The light was orange / amber in color and was very bright and flickering. The light was much brighter than a street light or tower light. I watched the light for about 5 seconds and it disappeared. After a short 3-4 second pause the light was glowing again in about the same location for a duration of approximately 15-20 seconds. The lights appeared one after the other 2-3 times and then paused for about 10 minutes. After the 10 minute pause the lights were glowing again, but this time 2-3 lights could be observed in the sky at the same time. The group of lights that appeared this time illuminated 1-2 seconds apart and were all noted at different elevations. I have never seen lights in the sky like this before in my life and I had to wake my wife up to inspect. She did not see the first set of lights and thought I was crazy, but she did observe the lights after the 10 minute pause and said, "Get in your truck and go see what that is". I drove toward the lights for about 10 miles and never even got close before they disappeared completely. I pulled over and waited by a large open pasture and never saw the lights again. It is probable that the lights were at such a great distance that movement could not be noted from my location, but I could not detect any movement from the lights.

It is possible that the light were part of a military exercise at Fort Hood, but I have never seen this type of light before.

I was eleven years old at the time.We had a tent set up about 150 feet from the house and my sister and I were going to sleep out that night.She is a year younger than I .I was not the type of kid to be scared of the dark and actually enjoyed sleeping out alone so was disappointed to have my sister tagging along that night.Approximate time was 10:00 PM Got to the tent and realised I had to return back to the house ,she did not like being left alone in the tent so was watching out the small window for my return.Upon my return I got to within twenty five feet from the tent when suddenly I was lit up by this blue beam of light.I stood shocked for a brief moment and then began running around in a zigzag type of pattern in an attempt to get out of the light simultaneously yelling for my sister to open up the zipper of the tent door.In her panic she got the zipper jammed opened only about a foot I ran and dove into the tent.I spun around and closed the zipper behind me.I saw no more sign of that light.We were too scared to go back into the house until the next morning.The whole episode lasted less than 15 seconds probably closer to 8 or 10 seconds. For years I have wondered what this could have been,if you have heard of this happening to others,or any kind of explanation I would be grateful. It was not like when you shine a light on someone,a light has a source which is bright and concentrated where it originates,and spreads out further from the source, this was like a beam surrounding me.It originated from above but at the time I did not stop to look up. Sorry that is all the information I have.

I suppose you could say someone shone a light on us ,but this came from above and was not like any light I had seen before or since,it was a beam apparently centered on me.
