it was seen on the edge a town. i dont think it was near any important sites.there were power lines within a quarter mile of it.

i was driving along 25-A from Botkins Ohio to Wapakoneta.(traveling from south to north).for thows who dont know,wapakoneta is the birth place of neil armstrong,the first man on the moon.

right as i was entering wapak.i looked out my driver side window.and i saw this object.i had to dunk down alittle,cause the object was in a angle,if you compared it to a clock where 12.00 o'clock was looking forward.it was at 11.00 o'clock and at maybe 60 degrees upward.i think it was pretty close to the ground compared to thows videos on the history channel.hard to say how low.maybe 150 to 250 feet.there wasnt any other object around to campare it to.but i looked up once,thinking ,what is that?looked back at the road for acouple seconds.i then looked up again,looking at it for acouple seconds,really taking it all in,cause it was just siting in one spot,just floating there. i looked back at the road again.i might have stared at it afew more times real quick like.but after 10 seconds or so,it was gone.

i didnt bring it up to any one til afew months later, to a fellow co-worker who lives in the area.and they said that they had seen the same type of object more than once.

just for extra info,........wapakoneta is an hour north of dayton ohio.

the closest it could be,would be a weather balloon that looked metallic.

i do believe that there are objects in the sky that cant be explained.does that mean there alien control or human control?some of them yes, some of them no.i was avidly into ufo's.read several books on the topic.including 'project blue book' before i my sighting.i still like to watch tv programs and listen to Coast to Coast on A.M. radio.

I was on guard duty with a comrade around 2am outside the airport of kigali rwanda in april 1994 during the genocide.I was with the French paratroopers in rescue operation.Then we saw that huge UFO pass right above our heads about 400 metres.It was like a big cloud pf fire with many spheres of light on the inside.It was huge like a football stadium and it pass slowly like a chopper speed crossing the sky.At the other side of the airport some belgians paratroopers were on guard duty also and they told us that they saw it too.At that time I was 18 yeras old and this experience show me that there is something going on in this planet.

my family has been vacationing at spider lake... just outside of traverse city michigan. tonight we had a campfire and as the night progressed we noticed that the stars were becoming more and more visible. The light from the campfire was distorting the view of the stars, so at one point my nephew and I walked over to a darker part of the lakeshore. We were just looking at the stars and talking and I saw a shooting star. Seconds after I saw this, my nephew pointed out what looked like a star that was moving at a steady pace from left to right, but it would stop occasionally and reverse and then continue on. It continued to move in this fashion until it slowly faded from our sight.

We thought at first we were seeing a satellite. However, it seemed odd that a satellite would glow just like a star. We've also never seen a satellite move at such a steady pace, stop, reverse, and then move forward again.

The object was too far away for shape to be observed. It flashed with distinct red, green, blue, and white light. It was very bright, brighter than any other object in the night sky

I was in an urban area but it appeared that the object hovered outside of town to the west.

It was about 4am and i was out on the balcony of my apartment. I looked to the west and noticed what i thought to be a star to the west. The object at first seemed to be an airplane because of the flashing red and green like an airplane. As i observed the object it became clear that it was not moving in any direction. I observed it for about 25 minutes. It continued to hover and flah with these different colors. I could not identify a pattern to the colors. The object was brighter than any star that i have ever seen. It also flashed with more intensity than any other object ive seen. The strangest thing about the object was the fact that when clouds moved towards it the object did not become obscured which meant it was below the coulds. a few minutes later, the object began to fade as if it was getting further away but not horizontal vectors were observed. The object was gone after about 25-30 minutes.

Could not have been a planet due to the flashing color, could have been a star...however it was brighter and seemed closer than any other star i have ever seen

It was pea sized. It was larger than any plane I've ever seen in the sky, but I can't guess at the size.

No military bases. But we are on the US/Canada border and it's possible that the object was in US air space.

At my parent's cabin, several of us decided to stay up to watch the stars. It was my mother and father, my sister, my fiancee and myself. We were not drinking and there was absolutely no cloud cover. In fact, we had been out on the beach from approximately 10pm-11:30pm when we decided it was getting chilly and moved up the lot to a semi-treed area where the campfire was. At about 12:30 my mother went to bed and my fiancee said, "Hey, look at how bright that star is. What is that? Was that there before?" Everyone was looking and wondering if we had in fact seen that bright light earlier. It was about the size of a pea--much brighter than Mars or Jupiter. In fact, it was smaller than, but as bright as the moon. It seemed to be white but flickering red--prompting my sister and I to wonder if it was in fact Mars. It appeared to be very high in the sky...Just then a white light seemed to scan over the ground beneath it, but again, we were wondering if our eyes were just playing tricks on us. My fiancee said he thought it was moving, and I told him that it was just the night toying with his senses. We all stood there staring at it on the beach for about 5 minutes. Someone suggested we use a tiny star that was beside the object as a marker to see if it was in fact moving. We noticed that it did move slightly left and right, but suddenly it started to move upward. It was soon parallel with the star and then seconds later it was inches above it (imagine your arm stretched out and raising 6-8 inches in a seconds). As soon as it was there, it was gone. It seemed to just "turn off" like a light. No noise was heard. I personally found the sighting disturbing, as an avid star gazer, I have never seen anything remotely like it. It was only then that my sister claimed to have seen 3 similar objects with 10 friends one night several years ago. She said they were travelling in a triangle but were fairly far apart and very high. They cleared the entire sky over the lake (which by the way, is massive) in seconds. I was never a believer in anything that couldn't be scientifically proven. I'm not sure now.

It initially did look like a bright star/planet but it's movement suggested otherwise. I've never seen a manmade object move like that. Not even a helicopter.
