Saw the show on the History Channel tonight. Never talked about it except to my family. That afternoon when it flew over my school I told my grandparents i saw a ufo they did not believe me. That night on KDKA Radio 6:00pm the broadcaster said 1000s of people reported seeing a ufo, and also said the US Air Force said it was a meteorite that landed in China.

I dont know if i could be of help , but the goverment covered this up and im not afraid of any goverment agency.

Appearance / Description of Object(s)

Multiple large to medium size disk shaped crafts who were metalic in appearence that shined like polished metal. About 30 of them flying in a M and T formation. I wish that I could tell you more but they looked like those high flying comercial planes but disk shaped and hovering slowly, also they left no smoke trail or any kind of trail.I coudnt see very well because they were at the altitude of a comercial high flying plane.

About the size of a Boeing 747 or 100 to 200 feet at least. The multiple crafts looked like they were the same model of ufo, they were identical to one another.

The area was a metropolitan area located near the city, but the area was rural, no military bases or power plants were near the area.

It was around the 30th of March 2005 when about 30 students saw the crafts. It was a sunny afternoon about 2 o clock. We were practicing ou softball catching when our teacher, wearing sunglasses, batted a ball for us to catch with our mittens. He keeps staring at the sky and I go to see whats wrong. He handed me his sunglasses and about 30 round shaped objects were hovering above us in formation. Other classmates of mine were also looking out to the sky and they also saw the objects. The objects looked like small round objects but later you could see that they were disk shaped, they looked white but scince they were really high up and they shined you could notice later on that they were shining like a polished metal. The crafts were about 33000 feet high or more, like a comercial plane but they werent planes because they were flying in formation, looked round, and vanished in the blink of an eye. I wish that I could tell you more but they looked like those high flying comercial planes but disk shaped and hovering slowly, also they left no smoke trail or any kind of trail.I coudnt see very well because they were at the altitude of a comercial high flying plane. These crafts were flying in a M shaped formation and also in T shaped formation. I went to the science classroom and found out they had a substitute teacher so I told her about the crafts and everyone in the room went out too see, everyone saw it. Later I went to the history room to get a a compas from the geography class and I figured out that they were headding to the South West. The crafts were large because they looked like they were in high parts of the atmosphere and they could still be visible, about the size of a Boeing 747. Then around 20 minutes later they vanished, like they teleported out of there or went into hyperspeed but they were gone, not a trace was left of them.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

It looked like a comercial plane but they werent planes because they were flying in formation, looked round, and vanished in the blink of an eye.

I was on my porch reading, facing north. It was late in the evening, maybe 10:00 or 11:00. I looked up from my book and saw the object. It flashed a huge white light like a welding arc. It even seemed to light up my surrounding area briefly. It then looked like a green ball, then it burned out with a slightly orange tail. It only lasted a couple of seconds, but was very bright.

It was an experience very similar to the photo taken on 7/12/04 in Ladysmith Harbour Canada. I was testing the sensibitity of my new camera Cannon IXUS 50 during the night and I noticed on the display panel that there was a white mark on the top corner of the picture, so I took another one right away, but I the white mark din´d appear again. During all these time I cudn´t see the objet directly with my oun eyes.

An object that was burning blue lit up the night sky in austin. It was travelling from SE to NW. It appeared extremely bright. did not appear to strike ground anywhere. appeared at a pretty high altitude as well

A round phere shape orb. Big in size. very Bright, with lines running zig zag all around it, but the lines was very thin.

urban area, less than a mile from the lake front, there was no military bases, power planets. Just apartment building, homes, stores, some people out and walking, nothing special at the lakefront, WAIT! there is some kind of plant at the lakefront, if you would like to check the beach lakefront on 79th Southshore drive in Chicago, and going to Indiana following southshore drive which is route 41 is some sort of power plant there as well.

At that time I was living in a apartment on the second floor with my parents, about little less than a mile from the lake front. This is the southside of Chicago; who would have guest what I saw that night. Well I hate to say that I live in a bad neighborhood where gangs were selling drugs and drive bys happen each and every night during that summer, and you can hear a shoot fired in front of your windows most times and others down the block.

What draws me to the window after a gun was fired was to see if someone was shoot, and I would call the police. One night I heard a shoot that seemed like maybe three block away and for whatever reason I got up and went into the front room of the apartment, I look out the window scanning the block just to see, as I saw two gang banger/drug sellers standing in front of the apartment close to the entrance way of the apartment building, out the corner of my eye I saw a reflection of what I thought was the moon, I didn't turn a first as I continue to look around at the street. Right next to the apartment building was a great big tall tree that shoot up a little past the third floor of the building, in my motion of looking around I stop at the tree were my eyes I caught that reflection again, so I turn to look up at the moon since it was so bright, and there it was hoovering maybe 70-90 feet above the tree. At first I would not beleive, I could not beleive what I saw just sitting there above that tree and at that moment that I accepted what is was I moved back from the window and fell backwards, but I got right back up, for a second I thought I was crazy so I look out again and it was still sitting there above that tree no motion as I look at the leaves of the tree they were still, then I thought it was some sort of trick, or a ballon, but a ballon could not be that bright, I look down to see the two person that was in front of the building as I taped lightly on the window trying to get them to look up, they didn't hear. All that time I was press up against glass looking around I am pretty sure it was looking at me all that time, my next step was to face it and try to look in it or look for some sort of opening, as I staired the odd phere got brighter, I shook my head to try to clear my vision and staired again and this time I was not going to turn away. It took off heading in a west direction and this thing was fast, very fast as I saw it clear trees in a stright line then turned off southbound and back west. I sit there in that window for an hour to see if it would come back past the apartment, my father woke to go to the bathroom, as he passed the front room he saw me press against the glass of the window and I didn't know he was there until he said, "what's wrong with you." I toll he what I saw, I don't think he beleive me, but he beleived I saw something, because I had one hell of a strange look about me that could not be describe.

A day later I heard on the news of a sighting of a UFO that a lot of chicago people witness, but they didn't see it close up like I did. I Will Never Ever Forget It!

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

Before I saw what I saw, I only thought I would see UFO's in star wars, close encounter, and space movies, but this thing freak me out, so I told this story only to a handful of people, and no one else, people seem to think you are crazy for seeing something like that, and I saw it somewhat close up. I must admitt that I always knew that this can not be the only planet in the universe that has life on it. Just don't make sense. And afterwards I saw it, hopeful before my end I would like to see it again. I never saw anything like it.

Other Comments

I am sure you will find article about this UFO, or maybe a down play of it. I'm sure the year was 1992, I'm sure of that because that was the year my son was born. I don't know where it came from, but I saw it go very fast to the west.
