Appearance / Description of Object(s)

it was an oval shape just like a football but more rounded at the edge. like a dinner plate that is turned on it's side but not flat . it was illuminated with a glow or mist around it and was of a dull silvery-white color. it wasn't bright like a street lamp but more like a flourescent light and wasn't as bright as a spot light.

We where at the entrance to a nursing home in a suburban street (residential area) up on a hill which overlooks the surrounding area, in an outer southern fringe suburb called Frankston , approx. 40 km from the city of Melbourne. Frankston is on Port Phillip Bay. To the west is the beach and bay area and to the east where this object was there is bushland and sparse homes and parklands (flaura and fauna reserves)

I work with Doctors in an after hours locum medical service that provides home visits for sick people who wish to see a Doctor at night, rather than going to a Medical clinic during the day. We start at 8pm at night and work through till 8am the next morning depending on how busy it is. It is our job to travel by car all around the suburbs of Melbourne to see one patient after the other and also to service the many nursing homes in the outer suburbs. Myself and a Doctor had just arrived at a nursing home in Frankston at around 3:oo am in the morning on Thursday the 20th of April this year. It was a clear night sky with a little chill in the air and the only thing you could see besides stars was a fog bank rolling in from the East toward us. The Doctor got out of the car and went to the rear passenger door to get his briefcase and medical supply bag ,I also got out to stretch my legs after a long drive from the last patient. I stood up and was facing east toward the fog rolling in when I saw what I thought was a very large star low in the horizon and just above the fog bank. I wondered what the hell it could be because it was too big for a star and too small to be the moon which was behind me on the beach side. It just sat there illuminated like a flourescent lamp ,oval in shape and very much like a football but with a glowing type of mist all around it. it would have been about half the size of your smallest finger nail at arms length and had a feeling that it wanted me to see it if that makes sense. It was completely motionless and seem to be waiting or hovering for about 1-2 seconds. It didn't make any sound at all which I thought was strange but one thing I felt though was that it seem to be hiding or useing the fog as a camouflage. A strange thought came over me like I was supposed to see it there and then when that happened, without hesitation shot off like a rocket at a speed that I still can't believe. it headed off in a north easterly direction toward the southern end of Mt. Dandenong. It didn't slowly build up speed ,it was in a split second faster than anything I have ever seen before. It was many times faster than a jet and the best way to describe it would be to say I have seen shooting stars and meteorites at night streak across the sky many times and it reminded me of that type of acceleration. It was one second still and the next doing thousands of km an hour , it had a vapour trail behind it the same color as the craft and was shaped like a flame as it travelled .The whole thing only lasted about 5 seconds or so but what I saw that morning has stuck in my memory as though it happened yesterday. No aircraft that I know of could have reached the unbelievable speed that this craft did in a split second. Nothing man made could have the amount of acceleration that this craft did and the way it hovered and glowed in the dark. It was a dull silvery white in color and it must have been at least 20 or 30 feet across. about the size of a light aircraft . I know what I saw was real and no one can tell me otherwise. it has left a lasting impression and picture in my mind which I will never forget. The Doctor also saw this ufo craft and his words were "the martians are coming" and then he laughed. he does not want to say anything because of his fear for what his patients might think if they knew there Doctor was seeing ufo's .. most people will think he is nuts. I have heard about sightings and have always been interested in the subject but never thought I would see one for myself. I believe very much now that we are not alone on this planet and are being visited by other people. I am not crazy and being in the medical field have seen many weird things but nothing like this. You have to have an open mind on our world and who we share it with. I am a believer and only took my time to report this simply because the doctor has now gone overseas on holidays. Thank you.

No definately not. it went from hover to faster than a jet in a split second and left a vapour trail behind it.

it was about 3 in the morning me and five friends where sat in a hut looking at the stars when we noticed a fireball in the sky. We originally thought it was a shooting star untill we looked again and saw a gigantic triangular craft it had three panels on the front with multicoulered lights that imediately as we looked began to flash into shapes as if it where trying to communicate. eventually it flew past and it shot to red dfarts at the floor and flew on.

Dear Mr. Stanton

My name is Robert Cote I have been living in Kentville Nova Scotia since I was 14 years old and I'm 47 now. I am married to my wife Doreen and have two children of our own John who is 18 and Brad who is 15. I remember back to my childhood when my father was in the Air Force and we were stationed in Victoria British Columbia and at the time I was nine years old and my sister was 11 years old.

My sister and I always liked to go down to the frog Pond to catch frogs which was approximately a 10 minute walk from our house which was on the Air Force Base. One day my sister and I took our dog and went down to the frog Pond we were almost there when we saw some shadows coming down through the woods so we both stopped and stared at the shadows. When the shadows reached the dirt road that my sister and I were on they stopped in the middle-of-the-road and stared at us. These shadows were floating off the ground approximately 6 inches they were transparent except for their face area it was black and they had a hood and they had no hands or feet. There were 6 of these transparent figures that were shaped exactly like a human. Our dog ran down the road barking when she got up to the figures one of them reached down and my dog went yelping home. Shortly after the transparent figures turned and floated off into the woods and we went to the frog Pond as if nothing happened. A couple of minutes after we arrived at the frog Pond we heard our mother calling us from the top of the hill to come home so we left. When we got home our mother was very upset she said our dog came home yelping and she knew something had happened because our dog never went home without us. She said she was standing on the Hill yelling our names for a long time and we did not answer her, what my sister and I thought was five or 10 minutes was approximately an hour or so. We did not remember anything about the transparent figures until we all sat down to eat supper then we remembered and told our story to Mom and Dad and my sister and I were scared to death. My sister and I and mom and dad still talk about the incident to this day and laugh about it but I would like to find out what happened that day because we lost time and I would like to be hypnotized to see if there's anything that really happened.

I watched a program on TV and they mentioned your name Stanton so I would like to talk to you about my experience and see if we can find out if they did anything to us or not.

i am on my roof and have a phone talk with my gf soo i am looking at sky when i stop my phone and going to sleep i saw a CROSS in sky with 8-10 lights 2 lights are blink others are still, fristly i think this is a PLAN but i nerver saw any plan in night with that type of lights and its speed is very high i saw it more then 3 mint in sky its in the shape of CROSS. i never heard any news from india that anyone from india saw any UFO i donot why i see or may be is not any UFO but i right you that i saw in sky....

I really sorry, but I can provide a complete description of my sighting, because I saw the UFO when I was checking the pictures back in my home in Costa Rica, but I´m honest, was a big sorprise !

I know the picture is not of good quality, but could you tell me if was a aircaft, or if was a real UFO sighting ? I believe in UFO before I saw this, but I just want to confirm it, waht do you think?

The object was a circle that changed color constantly from green, red and yellow. It also changed it's shape from a clear circle to a circle that appeared to have a small bite on the upper right area. It also changed into a poligon at a certain time. I could only make out that this was a circle and changed it's shape using my binoculars. From normal view (without the binoculars) it would appear as star only it was at very low altitude but quite far away and it changed color. But the fact that made me think that this wasnt just an ordinary star was that I was observing the object and I knew i couldnt stay all night looking at it too see if it did move or something so i went to brush my teeth and when i came back i looked out the window and it was gone, stars don't dissapear in 10 minutes right?

Im not sure that what i saw was indeed a UFO, what i do know is that i saw a light changing color and 10 minutes later it was gone, and while zooming in i saw it was textured and changed shape.
