It was a dark color either black or dark dark blue hard to tell because of the street lights. It was shaped like a triangle but it looked like it had a cockpit or something on top. It was a flat color and not shiny. There was a light at each corner and a flashing one in the middle.

My sister and I were on our way home from a friend's house. We saw a triangular craft in the air above the houses next to the Tom Thumb on Arapaho and Shiloh in Garland, Texas. We couldn't figure out why it was hovering because we never new a plane, jet or other that could or would hover over a residential area of all places. It had 3 white (or red) lights at each corner and a red (or white)flashing. I can't recall which color was flashing. I just remember that someone told me that all aircraft must have a flashing light when it's in the air or something. So I figured it was a military aircraft. Anyways, as we drove by, it slowly (and I do mean slowly) moved Southwesternly. Also, when we drove by it I rolled my window down expecting to hear the jet engines or some kind of noise, but we heard nothing. It was about the size of large jet plane from our proximity. I don't know measurements, but I do know that jet planes don't get that close to houses in the middle of the night.

We figured it must be a military aircraft of some sort. So we asked an Air Force friend of the family and he had never heard of an aircraft that hovered. He said it was probably a helicopter, but it definitely was not. We come from a military family and we're very familiar with the types of aircraft in the sky. This was not a balloon, helicopter or other hovering mobile. It was plane-like but it moved so slowly after hovering for such a long time. Very strange....

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

It may have been a man-made aircraft but like I did as an Air Force pilot and he did not know of anything like it.

Don't know what to think. I assume it's a military aircraft. However, I have had two other strange "sightings". The next most recent was in Seattle and my friend and I saw a strange bright light zoom over the highway we were on and then zoom away. (It was near Boeing field on I5.) The other sighting was while I was by myself and inside of clouds. I can't account for that one, because it was probably an airline the lights were awfully large for an airline. Again, my father flew helicopters and airplanes and we've seen and heard all sorts of aircraft.

It looked a mile long and it was trianglar and there was what looked like a bright hangar and a few small craft flew around the hangar. It was grey and looked alot like a Imperial Star Destoryer from Star Wars. When i saw the back it had three bright engines.

The large craft flew around for about a mile above the my camp. It moved around for about two minutes. I awoke and saw the dark gloomy ship wander around the atmosphere and then flew away

*In the 2005 one it was a triangular shaped UFO and was a metallic silver color. *In the 2004 one I couldn't see the color but judging by the lights it was a sauser type shape.

It was on the 4th of July and it was about 4:30p.m. when my friend Chris,his sister Amanda and I were just hanging out on his front porch.When I was about to ask him about our homework I heard a sound I looked up and saw a triangular shaped UFO.It must have been around 50-70 feet above us.When he looked up and saw it he couldn't believe it.So just for laughs he took a soda can and lit a bottle rocket and it shot off towards it.When the bottle rocket exploded the "UFO" shot off and dissapered.

The previous year the same thing happened but it was around Mid-night and he didn't light a rocket.We really didn't see it but it was a yellow,green,blue lights in the sky.We thought it might have been a plane because the way it was flying.But it just stopped in mid air and came down and then came back up and just flew right out of there.

Tiny plain white star in north sky which I was looking at while I was in my hammock out in the middle of my open yard talking on the phone. Star then developed a white aura around it and then faded back down. It has 3 white round lights under it in triangle formation. The star then moved toward southeast 1 inch, stopped on a dime and then did the same thing and still had the three lights under it.

Me and my girlfriend were talking outside at night when we saw this strange green light going up into the sky (or into space?) very rapidly. If it had been going down we would have assumed it was just a meteor, but going up? Also the speed was out of this world. At least nothing I have ever seen.

if venus' illumination was measured to be a 5, the light i saw was 10 at first, 50 or more at it's brightest, then it disappeared.

at about 11:58 pm central, a very bright light attracted my eye to the sky a little to the west. the brightness and size of the light was steady while moving due north for just a moment. i watched to see it gradually increase in brightness; far brighter than any star i have ever seen. as it moved slowly to the north, it faded away.

i would have guessed it was a meteorite, but it moved too slowly and it would have had to be coming almost directly down instead of across the sky. also, of the meteorites i have seen that are as bright as this light have had erratic movement and illumination as they burn and/or they break into many peices as it burns.

finally, the quality of the light appeared manufactured and gave me the distinct feeling i had just been scanned along with all of north america.

The object was pretty low for a flying craft app. 500 ft. if I held my arms straight out over my head my hands would be about 2.5 ft apart from wing tip to wing tip.

My sighting occurred in the fall of 1971 in Florence, SC. Around dusk one evening I went out to the backyard and as soon as I went out I noticed something dark overhead. I looked up and saw it up close and personal! The largest object I had ever seen in the sky in my entire life. A large, black triangular craft was passing directly overhead. The first thing that I noticed about it was the size and how low it was. It had to be about 300 ft across from tip to tip and about half that distance from front tip to the rear. It was perfectly silent and I couldn't hear any sound at all coming from it. It was awesome! It was also moving very slowly and I remembered thinking that it moved too slow to remain air born for its size. There were lights on the bottom of various colors - yellow, blue, orange, red. I don't remember the order of the colors but they were dimly lit and were evenly spaced from one wing tip to the other. It was approximately 500 feet high and the width of it would be about 2.5 feet at arms length. I saw no markings of any kind or any other lights other than the colored lights on the bottom. I saw no visual evidence of an engine or any engine exhaust. As I stated earlier it was completely silent. I watched it until it traveled (east) out of sight. Just as it got out of my sight 4 fighter jets came screaming over going in the same path as the UFO. There is an Air Force base (Shaw AFB) about 40 miles away and I assume they came from there. I never heard anything on the news about a UFO sighting and I didn't report it to the Air Force because my parents said we weren't going to be laughed at by the neighbors for reporting a UFO. I did see this object and I know it was a vehicle and not a cloud or swamp gas or the planet Venus. I was confused at the time because I had never heard of triangular shaped UFOs, I thought all UFOs were saucer or cigar shaped. Since then I have heard of the black triangular UFOs in the 90s, and the one seen in Arizona in 1997 seems very similar to what I saw.

I believe they exist obviously, but I'm not convinced as others are that they come from outer space. Before my sighting I was not a believer nor a dis-believer in UFOs. I had heard of them of course but I just didn't know if I believed in them or not. Now I do. I had read some things in those grocery store tabloids but the photos in those papers looked fake to me so I wasn't sure they were true. I was raised in a religious family where things like UFOs just did not fit in to our faith. Now I know that they exist but I don't know who or what is piloting them. I hope the government will release the truth about them one day.

I was about 12yrs old when it happend, my whole family got home from eating dinner out. we lived a couple miles outside of rockwall right off of 559. i walked inside and my house when my brother, who was 15yrs old at the time shouted ufo when i walked outside i saw a triangle floating over the tree line, it was orange in color and it glowed we wathed it for a few seconds until it took off faster than anything that our current knowlage of flight and propulsoin is cappable of doing, and did so silently no sonic boom, nothing but silence. this was witnessed by my brother, mother, myself and my grand father who is a veterian of the korean war and designed military aircraft for bell helicopter for almost forty years, he was still employed there when the incident occured and is still working there now.

it was just below the top of some trees in the field about 200-250 yards away from us. and it slowly moved down through the trees and began to move away from us. it had yellow and red light around the top of it and white shining beams from the bottom. it dissapeared behing the trees and as it disapeared it looked like a oil lamp flame. a light flame. its hard to describe.

It was day light, partly-cloudy, about 5:ish. I was driving, (southbound 249), passing the cemetary on the right, (the trees are very tall here), near the end of the cemetary yard, out of the tops of the trees, comes the V's...They appear in a V-formation, like a flock of birds (geese, more specifially), their formation moves fluidly, enjulating, like birds do... They moved across the divided highway from, tree-tops in the west, to the southeast sky. As it moved the Vs look like they're switching places, but they're just morphing or something, because they were never separated, that is, their wing-like tips looked like they were always touching...

They were metalic Vs, pewter & bronze looks, each V being about the size of a goose, but as it moved away, it seemed to stay the same size...There was no noise, only one ramdom small red light flicker as it left.

Im driving, thinking, did anyone else see? So, Im looking all around, people everywhere, noone else was looking at it...Dont know if anyone else saw?
