My wife and I spent 8 years travelling in Europe, playing renaissance music in the north (germany, switzerland, france) in the summers, and vacationing in greece or portugal in the winters. We often camped either with fellow vacationers, or as was the case this time, we sought a little privacy, and more deserted beaches.

We had started cooking a whole chicken over the fire around dusk or perhaps a bit after, and settled in next to the fire, talking and waiting for supper to be ready. I do remember that it was quite dark when we heard a strange noise overhead, moving right to left, or eastwards. It really sounded a lot like some kind of engine....not a jet, but sort of mechanical.....sounds vague....but while it wasn't exactly a "weird" sound, I can't think of anything to compare it to.

There was no doubt that it was artificial in nature. It was fairly dark at the time, and since there were no city lights anywhere nearby, the stars were very bright. As the sound passed overhead, perhaps at 20-30km/hour-no more than that-we could see stars shimmering through whatever it was...like looking down a hot highway in the heat of summer.

There really wasn't much more to the experience.....except in talking about it afterwards, we both thought they were just looking for a deserted stretch of beach to spend the night...just like us.

Not unless mankind has developed cloaking technology. Someone once suggested that it was a flock of birds....but it was my sincere belief, and continues to be that this was not a natural phenomenon.

I've always believed that the chances of intelligent life on other planets was a statistical likelyhood. Saying that, I never expected to have any such experience. I'm glad it happened, and wish they'd make their presence more widely known. I never read much about ufo's prior to the experience. Afterword, I was curious to find out if anyone else had experienced a "cloaked" ship before. Thankfully, we weren't the first, although it does seem ro be rare.....whatever that might mean.

It was miles in circumference. I'm guessing here, but I would say it had to of been 30 or more feet in thickness. I could see the darkened exterior, and it looked as if it was even thicker, but I couldn't say for certain. Circular. It did rotate. I believe it had the ability to cloke itself. Only speculating on that. I did see lights, but nothing like you would think. It didn't have perfect little circular windows every few feet. That's why I said it looked mechanical. Nothing symmetrical. I saw lights, but they were coming from within the thing. Little, tiny specs of light here and there. When it came toward us, after it turned slightly, it moved quickly. Not that it would take much time for something so large to cover that kind of ground. So it's hard to say how fast it could have moved. It only took it a few seconds to get to us. It remained low as it did approach us. I'd say a couple of hundred feet up in the air. It was above the highrises in downtown, but not by too much. I didn't hear anything. No humming or anything.

Right before spring break I had broken things off with my long term boyfriend. We both attended Hillsdale FW Baptist College in Moore, Ok. My family was local, but he had traveled out of town for break to see his family a couple of hours away.

Once he returned to campus he came to find me. We decided to go somewhere to talk things over. There was this field we would go to sometimes to talk, make out, whatever. There's not a lot of privacy going on at a private christian college campus. We were outside of the car, and Joe was leaning against the back of his Monte Carlo. I was about three feet or so from Joe, and we were talking things out. I'm rambling along when I notice that his attention is elsewhere. I quickly snapped at him saying, "Do you mind? At least act like you're interested!" To which he came back with, "What in Gods name is that thing?" He was looking behind me. I completely jumped out of my skin. I jumped towards him and quickly turned around to see what it was. In a matter of seconds I was up in arms again, and told him he was a big jerk. There was nothing behind me. This was not a moment to tease me. I thought he was really being insensitive.

He kept looking out towards the city. We were in an old field, and it was dark out. The field was approximately 10 miles or so from downtown Oklahoma City. From where we were we could make out the sky line of the city, and see the glow of the airport lights from Whil Rogers World Airport located on the west side of the city.

Joe whispers to me, "You can't see that thing?" "What thing?" Now I'm getting spooked. I was looking out, not up. He told me to look up over the city in the distance.

I was completely stunned by what we were looking at. It was the most massive thing I have ever seen. At that moment we just both stood there motionless, and quiet for what seemed like forever. It took me a few seconds to compute the image. It looked circular, but we could only see about 1/3 part of it. It looked mechanical. It was really low over the city, and just sitting in the air. No movement. Still. It was thick. I have no way of really giving a calcuation. But it WASNT some skinny saucer. This thing was enormous. The lights from the city were shining off the one side and the bottom of it. After a minute or so I got some nerve. I wanted a better view of this thing. I started walking north in the field to see if I could see it better. Joe yelled at me to stop. He was really spooked, and started screaming at me to come back. I still don't know why he knew to call me back. In my mind this thing was several miles from us. It's not like it could see us. I think. No sooner than the second I hesitated and paused the thing began to move. Slowly at first, like very slow. It didn't just shoot out. It first began to rotate slowly like a half a turn. Then it began to move right toward the field. I started running as fast as I could, and Joe was yelling for me to run faster, he had both doors opened, and he had the car started as I jumped in. We took off as the THING approached the field. We weren't too far from campus, and he floored it all the way. I remember see it approach the field, and looking back again and seeing nothing.

The next day we checked the Oklahoma City Oklahoman to see if anyone else had seen this thing. We thought surely they had. It was too big to miss! From where we had stood in that field this thing stretched from the OKC skyline almost to the airport. That is a few miles. It was very low over the city. To this day, from time to time I will check out the latest reports in hopes of someone else having seen this thing that night so long ago. I've never read an account of anyone seeing anything that massive. Nothing so far.

Interesting note: I ended up marrying that young man, and we had two beautiful daughters. He is now an Air Traffic Controller at the Ft. Worth En Route Center. He is a supervisor. We divorced several years ago, but have a friendly relationship. We haven't discussed that night in years.

At 8:29PM May27th 2000 SunSet: 8:17PM MoonSet: 1:39PM Object gray in color Two Black Circles along it's side. Small white light on the rear of craft constantly on, top center & bottom center lights on object alternate on & off as object manuevers in a short wave like motion from southwest to south/southeast(lights seem to assist the objects maneuverability) . Approx: Southwest of this object are two major airports Kennedy Airport & Laquardia Airport. I believe this object was manuevering at a low alitude to evade airports radar.

No! just by the way the object moved in a short wave like motion & manuevered under air traffic.

I was ten years old when this incident happened. It was the fourth of July and it was late in the evening about 11PM-12AM. I was sitting in the back yard with my family watching the stars and the late fire works that night. I looked up and I noticed four stars moving across the sky in a perfect square formation. They were very high very possibility in space and very far apart about 200 hundred feet from my perspective. They moved back and forth first from left to right or west to east stopped in a second. Then they moved east to west and then back to west to east. All the times they moved they stopped in a second. While they moved I could tell that they were moving against the back ground stars. The final east to west movement they picked up great speed and just disappeared from sight. I did not hear any noise nor did I see the lights change color in any way.

I do not think anything I knew as a child about airplanes, rockets, the space shuttle, helicopters and space satilites or now can expliain what I saw. I know of nothing man made that can stay in such perfect fromation over such a long distance so far apart and so far up in the air or in possible orbit.

I know what metrorites and other space stuff is meant to do. It goes in one direction and will either fall out of the sky or stay there. I also know that airplanes could not stop so quickly or stay in the air without moving forward. I may not be an aerospace engineer but I do know how airplanes work.

I really did not know anything about UFOs before or had read any books. After that I did not read many books till I was fifteen years old. I did read everything I could about aerospace and airplanes and helicopters. I have read some books by Witley Striber and a few others but I do not make a habit of reading books on the subject of UFOs.

very rural, hwy 152 winds several hundred feet from the water's edge. Highway is cut through hills covered in dense vegetation. Sighting took place just after a dam or bridge if I remember correctly.

I was a passenger in a car on hwy 152 in a hilly area just Northwest of the San Luis Reservoir heading towards Gilroy, CA. It was about 11pm and the sky was very clear. I had been looking at the stars out of the passenger side window when a very large, bright light flew over at a very high speed (I don't know how fast, but it was faster than an airplane). It was flying quite low and was out of sight over the hill before I could point it out to the driver (who didn't see it) . The light was so bright that it was hard to make out the shape, It resembled a huge white fireball, but was flying horizontal with the road, not falling. It seemed to be more or less following the direction of the road, heading northwards. The lights on our car started to dim slowly and then went out all together. The car motor then died and the radio was the last to go out. The car came to a stop at the side of the road where there was a party of men who said they had been hunting wild pigs in the hills and said they had not seen the light. Our car had to be towed to the nearest service station to be re-charged. I read in a local newspaper that someone else saw the same thing in the same place about two weeks later. I was also told by the man at the service station who re-charged our car that someone had reported a similar sighting previous to mine in the area.

It was a summer evening in Billings, MT. I was having a funeral for my pet turtle - I was 10 years old - all of us kids noticed very colorful lights in the sky we ran into the middle of our backyward and a beam of white light came out of the lights. My sister ran into the house, but my friend Sharon and I stayed outside and watched. A man appeared in the beam of light. He never touched the ground but floated about 3 feet above it. There was no exchange of words, he just stood there and gazed at us. Sharon and I thought it was Jesus. We fell to our knees.

After a few minutes went by and then the man started to floated upward in the beam and dissappeared into the colorful lights.

Within seconds the lights were gone. Sharon ran home and I ran into the house. My mother was scared to death and was running around closing and locking the windows, pulling all the drapes. When I excitedly told her my story she said to never tell anyone that people would think I was crazy.

A couple of years ago I asked my sister if she remembered the lights and she replied that she would never forget that night.

This particular ufo had the classic disk shape, although it was more like 2 saucers put together. It was radiating an incredible beautiful electric blue neon glow over the entire craft. It just appeared "otherworldly" and so high tech. I was just spellbound by the erie looks of the craft.

My family and I were staying at this motel/hotel on he beach in mexico. We had just arrived that day andwere very tired. They were sol out of cabins, so we knew the owners an they offered us the grocery stor that was under consruction a the time . My mom,dad and brother were all in the same room. We were laying down wiht the lights off. For some unknown reason I got up and looked out the only west window. It had no window in it yet. All of the suden, this ufo goesflying right by the winow parralel wiht the mountains, right behin he motel. As described in another area, it was descending in whatappeared tobe a landilng attempt. I was completely shocked to see this ufo, and didn't believe in them at the time. I immediately woke my brother up and told him what I'd seen.. We didn't wake my parents ,although they are open minded and would have believed me anyway. My brother andI jumped into my car and went lookng for the ufo. This was along time before Hopkins, Mack, and other authors had written about missing time and abductions, so we were totally oblivious to the dangers of stalking a ufo. We drove around for 10-20 min. and instinctively became quite scared at what would occur if we met up with the perpetrators of the glowng craft. Once, I pulled over an shut my lights off.and engine. to avoid being seen by the craft because it was pitch black outside and there was asolutely no one out there ; hman at least to help us if we became embroiled in a confrontation. We did not observe the craft landed or flying and returned to the motel. We told myparents what had occured and they believed me. It was an incredible experience and completely changed my opinion of govements, scientists,air force, etc. that have lied and covered up all ufo data since at least 1947 and before. People are led to believe that they are "seeing things", when a certain pecetage ofthese sightings are completely legit and 100% true! You don"t choose these sightings; they just happen to you. People that hace these experiences need understanding and support from their friends and families. I'm lucky I have such a wise family and friends that always believed me and supported me, because a lot of people wont when something like this happens.

Not possible by any reach of the imagination. This ufo was completely different than anything I've ever seen. No wings or rudders/elevators etc. Ive seen lots of aircraft and it was not remotely like an aircraft or natural object or cloud.

i, like many people did not believe in ufos before the siting. You have been told all of your life from a variety of scourses that ufos cant and don't exist. When you experience a real ufo , there is no denying it. you immediately realize that you have been liedto and deceived all of your life by acarfully planned and executed ruse by top officials . Why? A Black Saucer which was a many sided polygon on the bottom. Kind of like a tent in the sky. Flew very slow, hovered, flew as if it were gliding across water. Many strange angles. All Black flying in broad daylight. 2nd object was a very small metallic looking sphere.

A little closer than the average plane. In between the size of a nickel and quarter in the sky. 2nd object like a speck of sand, but it reflected the sun's light for a second, only visible for a second.

In broad daylight, I and a couple others witnessed a black stealth like Saucer. The Object at first appeared cigar shaped (only because of the angle of view). It was hovering in the distance for about 5 minutes. The shape consisted of many strange angles and it appeared to have an altitude a little lower than the average commercial plane.

As the Object began to travel very slowly across the sky to the South, I had the opportunity to see it from directly above. It traveled very slow and flew as if it was gliding across water. From directly above head, you the bottom appeared circular--upon closer inspection, you could see it was actually a polygon with so many sides it appeared circular. The Object continued traveling very slowly South until it disapeared into the distance. It had some kind of top, it kind of looked like a tent that was gliding across water in the sky.

After the First Object was gone, a Second was seen. There was some sort of small metallic sphere hiding behind a cloud. While in transition from one cloud to another, it reflected the sun's light as it made a jump like manuever.

I do no understand why the First Object did not care about being seen, while the second appeared to be trying to hide. I do not know if the 2nd object was something physical in the sky, it may have been some sort of atmospheric event caused by the first object, perhaps some kind of electromagnetic reaction or plasma, if not perhaps some kind of scout ship. The first object was definitely physical in nature.

I decided to post this because of seeing other people reporting a black object in day light.

It could have some sort of very strange blimp, but I extrememly doubt it.
