THE LARGE CIRCURLAR SHIP WAS HOVERING RIGHT AT THE TOP OF THE TREES. IT WAS AS WIDE AS THE SPAN OF THE LARGE TREE RIGHT BENEATH IT. AS IT SLOWLY ROTATED IT WAS CLOSE ENOUGH TO SEE THAT IT WAS RINGED BY ABOUT THIRTY INDIVIDUAL, THROBING STROBE LIGHTS.THE LIGHTS WERE A BEAUTIFUL BLUE AND HUGE. IT MADE NO SOUND. HOWEVER, WHEN WE SCREAMED-IT MADE ANOTHER BREATHTAKING REVOLUTION --THEN PLUNGED INTO THE GROUND -AT THE SPEED OF LIGHTENING---WITHOUT MAKING A SOUND. WE WERE SO CLOSE TO THIS THING--WE SHOULD HAVE FELT A TREMOR OR SOMETHING--IT MADE NO SOUND AND JUST DISAPPEARED INTO THE GROUND--IT WAS NOT OF THIS WORLD. AND YOU COULD SENSE AN INTELLIGENCE AS IT HOVERED AS IF TO SAY--'LOOK AT ME'. I HAD NOTICED THE STRANGE GLIMMER OF BLUE LIGHTS -THRU THE TREES-FOR ABOUT 3 MINUTES-BUT I WAS WORKING-AND DID NOT REACT UNTIL IT LIFTED ABOVE THE TREES--IN ALL IT'S GLORY. ONLY TWO OF US HAD DESKS FACING THE WINDOW--WE WERE THE ONLY TWO TO SEE IT - AND THE ONLY TWO WHO SCREAMED.

IT IS INTERESTING THAT ON THE TV SHOW 'UNSOLVED MYSTERIES' THEY DID A RECREATION OF A UFO SIGHTING WITH ANIMATION FROM EYEWITNESS DESCRIPTIONS--ONE OF THE RENDERINGS WAS EXACTLY WHAT I SAW OUT OF THE OFFICE WINDOW THAT DAY.

colour: it was blackish silverish like a shining black metal. the top was round and long but a bit lighter in colour from the middle part. which was like two plates upside down on each other and at the bottom there were like longish stands with balls at the bottom. these were plain black not metalized like the middle part. in the middle there were three round red lights and they were all shining. i managed to see it because of these lights.

I left the curtains of my bedroom open and everywhere was dark as i was trying to sleep. i was looking out of the window and all i could see were a few stars and the sky. all of a sudden i saw a dark blackish-silverish object with three red lights. it stopped for a moment hovering high up. than it just went away as quickly as it came.

i dont think so. things a man made or natural object dont hover for a few seconds over a place than disappear and have a strange shape with strange lights

WHILE WORKING, I SAW A OBJECT SHINNING IN THE SKY. I THOUGHT IT WAS ANOTHER APPROACHING AIRCRAFT. THE OBJECT REMAINED THERE FOR HOURS. SO I FIGURED IT MAY BE AN HELICOPTER HOVERING. THE OBJECT WAS HOVERING OVER POTOMAC RIVER NEAR THE AIRFORCE BASE. I FIGURED IT HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE MILITARY SO I DIDN'T PAY IT TO MUCH ATTENTION. HOWEVER, THE NEXT MORNING THE OBJECT WAS STILL THERE. WHILE LISTENING TO THE RADIO STATION, I HEARD THE DJ SAY, "CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL WHAT THIS THING IN THE SKY IS." THIS WAS THE FIRST INCIDENT. (I CANNOT REMEMBER THE EXACT DATE).

IN APRIL 2006, I WAS WORKING AND NOTICE A BRIGHT LIGHT IN THE SKY. IT APPEARED DIRECTLY OUT A CLOUD. I ASSUMED IT WAS AN AIRCRAFT, BECAUSE ITS FLYING OVER THE AIRPORT. BUT THEN SOMETHING ODD HAPPENED. ANOTHER PLANE HAD FLOWN PAST IN THE SKY, LEAVING BEHIND EXHAUST FUMES. SUDDENLY THIS YELLOW LIGHT FLEW TOWARDS THE FUMES AND STOP, ALMOST HAS IF INSPECTING THE FUMES. THE LIGHT MADE A SUDDEN 90 DEGREE TURN AND PROCEEDED SLOWLY IN THE DIRECTION OF THE PASSING AIRCRAFT. THERE WAS A SUN RAY CASTING OUT FROM ABOVE CLOUDS, AS THE YELLOW LIGHT WAS HOVERING IT ENTERED THE SUN RAY, SUDDENLY THE OBJECT CHANGED FROM A SHINNING YELLOW TO HAVING NO LIGHT AT ALL. INSTEAD OF LIGHT AN OBJECT WAS REVEALED, BLACK IN COLOR AND ROUND. I YELLED OUT TO MYSELF, "OH SNAP." THE OBJECT HAD ROCKED LEFT TO RIGHT AND SUDDENLY FLEW FLEW WITH ETREMELY FAST SPEED UPWARDS AND WAS GONE. I DIDN'T TELL ANYONE, I JUST KEPT IT TO MYSELF. THE ONLY REASON WHY I'M WRITING TODAY IS BECAUSE OF THIS NEXT INCIDENT. I STARTED TO CARRY MY DIGITAL CAMERA BECAUSE OF THESE STRANGE INCIDENTS, SO I WANTED PROOF OF WHAT I WAS SEEING BEFORE I OPEN MY MOUTH TO OTHERS.

IT WAS STILL KIND OF LIGHT OUTSIDE, MAYBE A HOUR OR TWO BEFORE THE SUN SETS. I SAT THERE AND WATCHED THIS THING FLY TOWARDS MY LEFT IN THE SKY. IT GLIDED SMOOTHLY, SILENTLY ACROSS THE SKY, HAVING NO EXHAUST FUMES, NO ENGINE SOUNDS, JUST COMPLETELY SILENT. I SAYING TO MYSELF WHAT IS THIS THING. SUDDENLY THIS OBJECT STOPPED IN MID AIR AND MADE A SHARP RIGHT TURN, AND THEN STARTED TO ASCEND HIGHER IN THE SKY. MY CAMERA AUTO FOCUS WAS GOING IN AND OUT TRYING TO MAINTAIN CLEAR FOCUS ON THIS OBJECT.

The outline of the object was difficult to discern for me and appeared to be changing shape though my girlfriend believed it maintain more or less of an oval shape. The lights were very deep in color and blinked almost continuously. The brightness of the object was less than Sirius but definitely more than most stars. The object maintained a uniform brightness and only changed color.

Size of Object(s)

Relative size when the object when it was closest was about an eighth inch or less. When it was very far it was barely visible. Actual size was about the size of a Cessna though I have no experience judging the size of airborne objects.

The area is rural and consists of almost entirely agricultural land. The closest airport is Salinas airport which approx. 40 miles north from the initial sighting location. There are few to no lights on the mountain range (Santa Lucia) that the object was near. It was a fairly clear night and there were 1 maybe 2 conventional aircraft seen around the time or after the object was seen.

My long time girlfriend and I were driving to my parent’s house on the Friday of memorial weekend. We saw the object's lights mainly as it was night and the lights on it were not much brighter than the stars. The object moved in many different directions and the lights blinked almost continuously and changed colors including red, white, blue, yellow and orange. The object initially seemed to split into two (resembling binary stars) and rejoined fairly quickly maybe after about 3 seconds. When split the 2 new objects they would stay very close together typically but also departed from each other on one occasion. After viewing it for about 5 minutes the object began to maintain a fixed position directly out of the driver side window at less than 5,000 feet and seemed to fly parallel to our vehicle. The object clearly wasn't an aircraft because it moved in any direction it wanted and flew quickly. Upon seeing the object my girlfriend and I began to feel very nervous and anxious. This continued for about 3 to 4 minutes and something very interesting happened. Simultaneously we began to feel the negative feelings depart and we totally relaxed within about a minute. The only thing I have experienced that was similar was when I was given a muscle relaxant before surgery. I was extremely nervous and anxious going into surgery and when I was given the shot I just felt it leave me. This was followed by a presence that seemed to envelop the vehicle though there were no mechanical reactions by the vehicle. We did not feel threatened or any type of pain though a very dim bluish/white glow could be seen in the interior of the car. Also we could feel a very slight tingling sensation on our skin. While this was happening the object moved from out of my window to a position above and behind the vehicle and was last seen there. Also we felt a sensation of compression in the frontal lobe area of our brains though this lasted only maybe 3 to 4 minutes just before the object was no longer visible and was much more acute in my girlfriend. We were left with a very positive feeling after the sighting. This lasted well into the next day for both of us.

No. The object maintained a speed close to the one of my vehicle indicating it wasn't a fixed wing aircraft and the object moved in directions at speeds that are impossible for a helicopter to duplicate. Also the object did not display convention red/green lights or the headlight type lights than planes use at lower altitudes.

I am studying undergraduate psychology and I have done a few analysis of abduction that included material from this web site previous to the sighting. I suffer from sleep paralysis and I was very intrigued by psychology's tendency to use that to explain abduction. I have never seen extraterrestrials during an episode of paralysis or in any dreams though I have seen 2 UFOs lucid dreaming. I am very skeptical of extraterrestrial existence and have observed other objects but not as conclusively as the one I am describing here. I have read most of the sighting accounts on this web site as well looked at all the pictures and read the main subjects such as ancient astronauts, and CE-5 encounters. I have read through all of the abduction accounts and briefly visited many of the links like the one to Bud Hopkins' page. All of this was previous to the sighting.

Other Comments

I have read extensively about the CE-5 encounters and desire to experience one of those greatly. I have done some limited exercises to encourage lucid dreaming in the context of extraterrestrials but I haven't been successful. I have had two short lucid dreams about UFOs. One of the dreams I had was frustrating because when my will took over in the dream I attempted to move to a better vantage point of the UFO many times but each time the UFO would move just barely out of my view. The other made me very anxious and I felt extremely young in the dream and I was lucid dreaming but my body was frozen. I had a very clear mental picture of the UFO in the last dream.

1st object - Wedge-shaped, with a nose-cone and a sort of aerodynamic shape, although unfamiliar. Dark coloured, slightly lighter than night sky. No lights visible. 2nd object - Equilateral triangle shape composed of three connected bars of colour, upright, red on the top point and sides, dullish white/silver on the left sides, and green/blue type colour on the right ends. Colours remained constant, and while bright were not spectalularly bright, certainly less so than the Moon. Colours did not change, move, flicker, brighten or darken.

As I was being driven home with my family at approximately 23:30 after a show in the school where my mother worked as vice-principal, I took to my usual habit of staring blankly out the window. In this part of Dublin it is very rural and it was dark at that time with none of the orange streetlight pollution I'm used to. Approximately 15 to 20 minutes into the journey while driving along the backroads I noticed what looked like a large wedge-shaped object flying what looked like very low, and maintaining pace with the car (maybe a kilometre or two away). I dismissed this at the time as a plane, although it was black and had no lights, and could only barely be made out against the sky (although I should point out that this lower part of the sky was a bit brighter). However that was not the main incident. A few minutes after I had been observing this craft, I noticed a triangle shape which appeared in the sky, stationary. It was much higher up than the other craft. My late dad and brother noticed this as well. It was an equilateral triangle outline, with the three colours at each end, red on top, white/silver on the left, and a sort of blue-green colour on the right end. These colours were in the form of solid bars which linked up to form a triangle of colour; it is possible that the three were the lights of a black craft but I could not discern this (though the skies were clear at the time). The colours did not flicker, change shape, or become brighter or dimmer, they just remained constant as a triangle shape. This shape held the same position in the sky for approximately 5 seconds, though it's difficult to tell exactly, it could have been 3 to 10 seconds. When this occured I sat there silently and after it happened noticed the other craft was still flying low to the ground. My dad exclaimed when he saw it, and got my mam to pull the car over at the next chance, but it was gone. My dad then noticed the second object (the first I had noticed, the wedge-shaped one) when we were driving home, saying that there was "another one", and I continued to monitor it until it passed behind some trees in the distance and couldn't be seen any longer, and then it was no longer there. I dismissed the first sighting as a plane as it appeared somewhat plane shaped although there was no sound from it or lighting and it was approximately 1000-1500 metres away - the weird thing was it seemed to be keeping exact pace with the car (and it was quite a remote place with not many other cars around). The second sighting, the triangle shape, I considered as unknown, possibly the lights of some flying vehicle. I discovered later that my brother had seen the triangle aswell. I could not guess how far away the triangle was as I had no reference to other nearby objects such as trees as I did with the low-flying craft. However, the triangle shape itself was about half-way up the sky, probably in an east direction from the car (as Irish passenger seats are on the left, and the journey was north-south). Its three points when compared to the moon would not touch the ring of the moon but would come quite close, as a comparison of its size (though the moon was not visible in that direction).

No I do not believe so, I considered the possibility of strobe lights but a clear path of light would have been visible, and besides they would not shine for 5 seconds in a linear shape and then disappear. It is possible the other sighting was some form of unknown military craft but what it would be doing over Irish aerospace.

I was always obsessed with the paranormal and made it a mission of mine to scour the skies for UFOs every time I went in a car anywhere after dark. At 2pm on the 17th December I was on the high road in North Finchley and it was a clear afternoon, not a cloud in the sky - perfectly blue. It was a lovely day and so I was taking in the sky view (on the same side of the road as the fast cars/approved cars show room) and to my left I saw two dome like objects. They were stationary and I tried to take a photo on my mobile, but as I tried to they began to move. The first moved diagonally up into space within 3/5secs and then disappeared and the second a few seconds later.

The school is located on High Street, Fairfield Maine, a small town of 6 thousand. The school is in a heavily residential area of town, directly across from a large park. Single family homes surround it.

The UFO sighting by my 3rd or 4th grade class (I simply cannot remember) was experienced by the entire class and the teacher. It was a silver disk, and it cruised a few hundred freet about treetop level and only a few thousand yards (estimated) from the school windows.

This sighting can be verified by a researched better than I: because after school the entire class was held, and then interviewed one at a time by several adults. The next day the sighting was front page news in the Waterville Maine Morning Sentinel. I remember I was bummed out because only four children had their pictures in the paper -- and I was not one of them. Even though I had seen it first.

I am very interested if finding this newspaper report in order to discover the date and details of this sighting -- the only one I have ever witnessed.

A friend had asked me if I wanted to go out and look for U.F.O.'s.I didn't believe in them at the age of 14, but didn't have anything better to do and thought it may be worth a try. We drove to a place across Hwy 40/61 from Lake St. Louis, Mo., making it on the N.W. side of the lake, West of 40. We sat for a good hour before we noticed this light moving from the N.to the S. then below where we saw the light after the higher one disappeared, another light would then move from S. to N., but one would be lower in altitude. This went on for about 30 - 45 min as we figured some how it was pretty wierd stuff to be seeing, and wouldn't think anybody else in the Western St. Louis area would ever take the time to sit and watch for something like this. Then we heard something in the woods move behind us, so we got scared and left to go back home. My friend lived next door to the W. of my house on Rue Grand, and parked on the St. facing East. when Mitch got out, he was almost to his front door to his house when I finally made it across the street to his driveway and yelled for him to look up the street to the East no more than 100 feet up into the air. He ran back to his truck, put his arm through the driver side window, and flashes his headlights at what appeared to be a low flying plane 3 times, and this object flashed it's lights back at us 3 times. I was scared as we pulled up, and when I saw the light coming towards me, but after it flashed us back I felt that if we were being watched, we were being watched by some thing that was watching out for us, not against us.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

probably not

i didnt believe in them previously and now no one could convince me that they aren't out there

the other witness was Mitch Brown who went in the Air Force at the age of 22, lived at 58 Rue Grand, Lake St. Louis Mo (in 1979-1982) he built fiverglass telescopes and the son of a passenger jet pilot.
