At aproximately 9:45pm looked to the CLEAR southern sky and observed a bright light, (as bright as a star) traveling at a high rate of speed toward the west. I thought it was a plane, but there was no flashing airplane lights...then I saw a commercial airplane at cruising altitude (airplane lights clearly flashing), far behind and (what looked) thousands of feet below the bright light/object. I used the commercial airplane and moon as a reference point, and the object was clearly above the airplane but below the moon. The object was traveling so fast, it made the commercial airplane look as though it were standing still. I looked away from the object for 5 seconds to find another reference point (another plane) but the object was gone. I've lived near Andrews AFB and Reagan National Airport, so I am familiar with how an airplane looks in the sky. This object shown as bright moon and stars. The correct date of sighting, May 27, 2006.

It was a shadow of a black triangle with three lights on the edges and a red light in the middle. No flickering lights, just glowing.

It was a warm summernight. Have been out at the river Isar - me and two girls and a freind of mine.

Lying on the wrm beach and looking into the sky. Suddenly one of the girls, which never had seen a shooting star in her life said: Look at this. Is this a shooting star?

What we have seen was absolutely breathtaking: Three multicolured lights with a triangle dark shadow between the edges hoovered over the sky from west to east. It was from aour point of view in a short distance to the horizon and was incredible big. The distances between the lights must have been 30 to 40 meters.

There was absolutely no noise at all. The lights stay in the same distances to each other the whole time of the sighting. There was a light dust in the sky from the river. The object was flying at low sppeed and vanished east in the dust.

It is a long time ago. Trying to find the witnesses will be not easy, but not impossible.

I did an animation of the sighting. Could not manage to get the lights in the manner as they have been (multicoloured). But there is a photograph of a flying triangle on the website of cnuforg that shows the colours exactly in the way it was.

No -never seen anything like that before. But it was the time of the first Irakian war. Could it have been a secret US-airforce object? But -there was no noise at all !!!

I was looking out the window on a clear and bright summer day in June 1995. High up there -direction south- I noticed five very small white spheres just hanging around. They seemed to be very, very high. I took my camera which has no telelens and shot some photographs. Watched these objects for half an hour. Then my neck began to hurt and I stopped watching them.

I had the photographs developed and after a first look at the negatives I thought that there is nothing worth to see (As in the picts you can sse the spheres are very small if the photographs are not blown up). But after I had found similar photos on the website of cnuforg, taken of spheres over moscow, I had the images blown up and sent them to three different places (cnuforg, cenap and gep.ev).

Cenap told me that these are balloons from a childs birthday. Wonder why they always use white balloons in Moscow, Brasilia, Mexico, UK and elsewhere. Cnuforg did not answer any more after I sent them the photographs. Gep. ev told me that they will discuss the photographs with colleagues.

I snet them a short briefing of another sighting with an animation made by myself with my 3D-programm (4 witnesses, Happened in the 80's)

Maybe they think my images are hoaxes - but they are not!

UFO 'crashes' into KZN sea

Port Shepstone - The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) is monitoring a mysterious situation on the KZN south coast.

"Numerous" eye-witnesses reported an unidentified flying object crashing into the sea on Saturday.

NSRI Shelley Beach station commander, Eddie Noyons, said eye-witnesses had reported an unidentified object - possibly an aircraft - crashing into the sea behind the breaker line off-shore of the Port Shepstone High School.

Police, rescue craft and a fixed wing aircraft were alerted to the scene to investigate.

Noyons said: "Following a full-scale search of the area covering 12 square nautical miles nothing has been found.

"There are no reports of activity in the area that may be related to this incident and there are no aircraft reported overdue or missing."

He said numerous eye-witnesses - including teachers and pupils attending a sports event at the high school, by-standers and local fishermen - were convinced they had seen an aircraft go into the water.

They said they saw smoke and described "water exploding".

Some also reported seeing flames.

Noyons said: "Some reported seeing something, an unidentified object, splash into the sea causing a ripple effect of waves."

Noyons said it was being presumed that weather activity in the area at the time might have given the impression of something falling into the sea.

" We will continue to monitor the situation, which remains a mystery," he said.

No sign of 'UFO' - NSRI

Port Shepstone - There is no sign of an apparent "UFO" that was reported to have crashed into the sea off Port Shepstone on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.

National Sea Rescue Institute spokesperson Craig Lambinon says nothing has been found yet, despite an extensive search over an area covering 12 square nautical miles.

The mysterious object that "crashed" into the sea behind the breaker-line off-shore of Port Shepstone High School about 12:20 on Saturday, has raised a frenzy of interest worldwide.

The number of readers who have clicked on the report carried by News24 reached more than 30 000 by 18:00 on Sunday afternoon.

Lambinon said on Sunday evening: "Witnesses said they thought they saw an unidentified object, possibly an aircraft, crash into the sea, but absolutely nothing has been found.

"Police and the NSRI offices in Shelley Beach and Port Edward responded to the call that something had crashed into the sea.

Some even saw flames

" Margate air traffic control also searched the area with a fixed-wing aircraft.

Numerous witnesses, including pupils and teachers at a school sports event, and fishermen were convinced they saw an aircraft go into the water.

"They saw smoke and water exploding. Some even saw flames.

"Some reported seeing an unidentified object splash into the sea causing a ripple of waves," said Lambinon.

"A reliable source, who was on a hill overlooking the sea about 2km away, said he saw something crash into the sea.

"The object trailed smoke behind it, and even after it had crashed the column of smoke hung in the air for several minutes.

"It caused a big splash when it hit the water and bobbed up and down," said Lambinon, quoting one of the witnesses.

'It might have been the weather...'

"There are no reports of activity in the area that may be related to this incident and there are no aircraft reported to be overdue or missing.

"The number of witness reports leads us to presume that weather activity in the area at the time may have given the impression of something falling into the sea.

"We will continue to monitor the situation, which remains a mystery," said Lambinon, adding: "If there ever was something...".

Search for 'UFO' on hold

Johannesburg - The search for an unidentified object which crashed into the sea at Port Shepstone on Saturday has been put on hold because of rough weather conditions, the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) said on Monday.

"The search was called off on Sunday and will only resume once the sea is calm. At the moment the sea is not conducive to diving," said NSRI Shelley Beach Station Commander Eddie Noyons.

"Rescue workers were unable to find oil slicks or petrol or any signs of a wreckage. We aren't yet sure what it was that crashed into the sea."

The search for the unidentified object began on Saturday after witnesses reported that an object, possibly an aircraft, had crashed into the sea behind the breaker line off-shore of the Port Shepstone High School, said Noyons.

Police, rescue craft and a fixed wing aircraft were alerted to the scene to investigate.

A grey spher moved towards the west, it looked to be about 1000' off the ground bit not sure without a common reference on the object or its size. it looked round and a dull grey. There were no lights, or wings of any kind, nor was there any noise. I live in a quiet neighborhood, and this was a quiet day. At first I thought it was a ballon that was released, but it was going straight across the sky, and not up at all.

i couldnt tell what it was. i knew that before there was a sighting of a trapezoid shaped ufo. i thought it could be the same. i couldnt believe my eyes. it was a large trapezoid. about 30-50 metres wide and 40 m long. i saw it hover for 20 sec. right over my house. then it just dissapeared. it was about the size of a helicopter. i thought it could be a ufo because i had heard of a trapezoid shaped ufo sighting before.

i dont think there is any chance that the object i saw could have been made. it looked to sophisticated to be man made. it was technology beyond what we have now.

My friend and I saw a light in the sky above Iowa City that flew at a very fast speed. We were in the park and I happened to look up. I immediately said to my friend to look up at the satellite, except it flew in a very large arch. I am familiar with what satellites look like and this was no satellite. It was going ten times the speed of a satellite. After it made a large U-turn, it disappeared over the horizon and within seconds flew directly back over us in a straight line in the opposite direction. It was amazing how fast it was going.

Completely black and complately triangular except for a small rectangular "bar" at one apex.

the object was an equliateral (or very close) triangle with sides of possibly 30 to 40ft. The objects relative size became bigger as we approached it and drove underneath but my fingers would never have been more than a few inches apart even at the closest point.

The sighting took place on the M9 (M80) motorway near Stirling in Scotland. Theis is a very rural area of Scotland with only small towns dotted either side of the motorway. I am unsure whether there are any military bases nearby, but the oil refineries at Grangemouth would have been fairly close.

On Sunday 6 July 1997 at about 18:30 we were driving back from a volleyball tournament in Perth. It was a beautiful clear summer evening, there were four of us in the car (I was sitting in the front passenger seat), and I think we had just passed Stirling when I noticed a strange object directly above the motorway in front of us. I asked the driver if he could see it and he said he could. I then asked him if he’d ever seen anything like it and he said he hadn’t. It was hard to tell exactly how big the craft was or how far away. My best guess is that it was a bit wider than the wingspan of a small two-seater aeroplane, and that it was flying at no more than a few hundred feet above us. It certainly wasn’t anything like as high as a passenger jet - more like the height you see helicopters flying when you can still see the pilot inside. Because it seemed fairly close, we were able to get a very good look at the craft as we approached it and then passed underneath. It appeared to be very flat as we couldn’t really see any height to it at all - all we ever really saw was the triangular underside of the craft. (Diagram 1 shows how the object looked as we approached it from “behind”.) It must have been either hovering or travelling very slowly since we appeared to catch up with it and pass underneath it in much the same time as we would have if it had been standing still (we were probably travelling at about 80mph). I remember actually asked the driver if he knew which way it was moving and he said no. (Diagram 2 shows how the object looked from directly underneath.) I remember the shape very clearly and apart from the “T-bar” at the “front”, the rest of the craft was completely uniform and triangular. The craft was totally black, there were no markings of any kind that we could make out, there appeared to be no source of propulsion, and we couldn’t hear any noise at all as we passed below (although being in the car it’s not clear whether we would have been able to hear anything anyway).

All four people in the car saw the craft, although the driver and I probably got the best view as we were sitting in the front. The whole sighting would have taken no more than minute or so from the moment we first saw the craft until we had driven so far past it we couldn’t really make it out anymore.

There was a fair amount of traffic on the motorway at the time so I would guess that many others must have seen it as well.

The object was certainly not a natural phenomenon of any kind. I suppose it could have been some sort of stealth aircraft, the black colour and triangular shape are probably the best evidence for this. However, the stealth aircraft I have seen still look a bit like conventional aircraft. This was, or appeared to be, completely flat, it was completely triangular - we couldn't even really tell which end was the front, it had no visible source of propulsion, it had nothing, not even joins, underneath suggesting anywhere that landing gear could be stowed, and it appeared to be hovering or travelling very slowly - I heard somehere that current stealth aircraft have a minimum air speed of around 100mph (?).

At the time of the sighting described above I was just about to start my final year at university. I would have been 31 at the time. The occupations of the other witnesses in the car at the time were a policeman, a teacher (I think) and the other I don't know. The reason I don't know for certain is that these were friends from a volleyball team (I had been playing at a tournament in Perth in Scotland on the weekend in question) who had offered to give me a lift home after the tournament.

I had an open mind before but didn't think much about them although I still probably knew more about them than the average person. I have always had an interest in "fringe-scientific" topics but UFOs were nowhere near top of the list. Since this sighting my interest has grown considerably and I have become an avid watcher of the skies. I have also had four subsequent sightings (2 daytime, one dusk, and one nighttime, all with other witnesses and 3 in the same place oddly enough - above the Oval Cricket ground in London) and while each was a bit odd in its own way, none were anything like the clear sighting of an obviously structured craft seen at close quarters describd above.

The first light we saw was blue/white and then two other lights appeared. I am not real good with colors but I would say green and a reddish /amber. The blue/white light seemed to be scanning the area. We slowed down sufficiently enough to look. Around five miles an hour. No other cars were around. The speed is forty five going on to fifty five mph just beyond the graveyard.

We watched the object as long as we could without stopping. As we were watching my wife let out a small scream and told me to look at the speedometer,not the rpm guage. It was going crazy. It was going from 0 to 70 . Then 10 to 65. Then 100 to 20 . It would not stay still. She finally pulled over and stopped the car but the speedometer did not stop it's movement. We decided it was time to leave. As we moved farther away from the graveyard things started to get a little more normal. We could never really make out a definite shape of the object. I guess from my best deduction it was sort of a triangle shape by looking at the placement of the lights. But the blue/white light coming down was very bright and made it hard to make out a shape.. We drove on around a small curve. The further we got from the object the more back to normal thigs seem to feel . We didn't tell anyone for awhile. A few days later we talked to my sister who had driven by the same place a little later than we did. She didn"t notice any object ,but she did notice the lights in the graveyard were out.

Let,s put it this way. I was in the airforce and saw some mighty strange things . But what I have seen can be pretty much explained. I am a skeptic. If I would have been alone I would have just blown it off. My wife is smart and honest and this really upset her. We saw something.I don't think it was a plane or helicopter.
