Earlier this summer I took a few sunset shots from my front yard in North

Texas with my 5 megapixel Sony camera.

It wasn't until I copied the images to my pc that I noticed a dark object in

one of the pictures, below the clouds.

The object resembles a triangle. I did not see or hear anything unusual

when this was taken. I shot 1 or 2 other pics of the same area within 60

seconds of this image, but the shape is nowhere to be found in the other

photos.

These originally are 5 megapixel images, scaled down for webposting.

What could this be?

"This picture was taken with a digital camera on a cloudy day

when I was taking pictures of a rainbow. I collect rainbow

pictures.

The round looking object is not a moon, and was not in

visible sight, it only turned up on the picture. Could

it have been a drop of rain?

There were other such round spots on some of the other

shots but they were very small as if far away. This

one was large."

I was driving my car along the narrow road from Sherborne to Thornford, in Somerset UK, and was passing through an area that was full of trees on either side of the road. It was still daylight but the Sun was just going down and was somewhere ahead of me if I recall. I glanced in my rear view mirror and saw a rectangular luminescent reddy orange object right behind the back window. My initial reaction was one of panic because I thought what I was seeing was the head lamp of one of the articulated milk tankers that use that road and, being as close as it was, would have been in danger of a collision with my car. As I looked again I saw that the light was independant of any other vehicle and that I was alone on the road. It was matching my speed perfectly and was not bright enough to be dazzling, but looked like a head lamp that was on dipped-beam. I state again that it was practically daylight at the time, it was not dark enough for me to have my own headlamps switched on. Looking for a third time, the object was gone. I continued at some speed for several minutes without seeing the object when I became aware that it was to my right. Looking over my shoulder I saw the object again. This time, although it still matched my speed, it was off the road to the right-hand side asnd was passing through the forrest. My obvious reaction was to assume that it was in the sky some distance away, but it passed in front of some trees and behind others. I looked away and again it disappeared. I never saw it again.

I continued to the party I was attending in Thornford where I told 3 of my best friends what I had seen, none of whom believed me. I drove home the next day but took a different route which lead me a long way out of my way and have not taken that road since. I would be very interested to hear of anything similar that has been sighted on or near that particular road in Somerset. I found the whole experience very surreal. I did not feel threatened by the object.

I took this photo at the Pali Lookout. When I got home I realised I had captured a UFO.

There were no aircraft (we are pilots) in the area at the time. There was no noise. There was nothing remarkable, just the photo.

My family of five including myself had just stepped outside our home to enter our family car. I recall the aproximate time of being just between 6:30pm and 7:00pm on a Sunday evening. I recall this time because it was the usual time our family left to attend Church services on each Sunday evening. I do recall an early spring shower had just fallen because my dad had pulled the car to the front of our home making it more accessible to us because of some continuing drizzle.

We had all started to the car when one of us (I do not recall which one) pointed and said what in the world is that thing? I do recall looking up toward a North Westerly direction to see a strange oval shaped object rolling end over end passing directly overhead. I recall the object giving off different colors in a pulsing, vibratory sort of way. I would only be guessing at this point now but I would estimate it's altitude to be less than 300 feet off the ground. I do recall my father saying it looks like it may land nearby.

I do not recall hearing any sound whatever from the object but my brother and sister say it was somewhat like a humming sound that an electrical transformer on a power line would make.

I do not recall any of us being frightened but more curious and amazed would best describe our reaction. We did not report this to anyone but I do recall our hometown newspaper being full of accounts of the sightings the next day.

It was in the spring or summer of 1997. I was looking out at the mountains from my front porch and talking on the phone. I spotted a large white metallic V-shaped or seagull shaped object gliding very slowly in front of the mountains. It was in view for approximately 30 seconds. I watched it as it moved downward and disappeared between the mountains and the valley below. At first I thought it was a glider but realized it was too large for a glider. I'm guessing that it was about 200 feet or more in length.

Full Description & Details

The attached, unmodified photo, taken with a Kodak 6340 digital camera in Auto mode, was taken in Los Osos, CA today, July 28, 2004. I did not see the object in the sky when I took the photo, I was taking lots of random shots to check a possible problem with battery life in the camera. None of the other shots, taken just seconds before and after, have a similar spot. The shadows on the object seem to be correctly oriented.

Hi, my name is Al Kumick, and in approx 1977, when I was 14 years old or so, I had a very unique ufo encounter in St. Petersburg, Florida. I was picking up rocks and hitting them with an old baseball bat, in the vacant lot across from my house, when I noticed a slow moving shadow go between my legs. It was a totally cloudless day, but when I looked up to see what was casting the shadow, there was absolutely nothing in the sky. I had plenty of time to look, (about 30 seconds) as I followed the shadow, constantly looking up and down, until the yard ran out, and I was blocked by the hedges from the next yard. The circles were about dinner plate size or a little larger from my perspective, and were not attached. They were moving in perfect unison, and were traveling at the same rate as I was walking to follow them, which was pretty slow. My initial thought was "why can't I see what's causing this shadow" since the shadows seemed more than large enough for me to be able to see it in the sky. (Like when you see a shadow of an airplane, and you know when you look up, it'll be there). So my theory is that they were obviously cloaked, and if so, they're in the skies more than we think.

"My name is Remis Sivickis (Sir). I am from Vilnius, Lithuania. I am working in Construction and renovation service at Ministry of National defence as deputy director responsible for design. I am an architect, also I have certificate of aircraft serviceman. I am sending to you the photos I have captured on my HP 850 8x optical zoom, 3,9 mil. pixels camera in two photo sessions.

The first photo made on 20-th of April 2004 in Siauliai airport. I was standing on the main runway . My attention was concentrated on runway as you can see from full foto (left lower corner). I noticed flying fighter whitch apeared to be silver color elipsoid after I have unloaded photos and studyied these on computer screen. The commander of the base told me they are not using any meteorological baloons on the base. One colleague from NATO International Staff latter reacted to this photo: “its definitely UFO ”, second one from NATO Air North told this cannot be from our base, because we were staying on the main runway, and flights should have been interrupted before letting us on runway. The commander of the base and other airforce oficers were amaized and told its very interesting, asked me to give them a copies.

Second serie of photos I have made on 10-th of June 2004 on the lake of Viesintas. All day I have spent floating in the air boat watching nature and making photos. In the evening I have unloaded photos into computer and noticed silver color cigar shape flying object (photo No.1). I studyied all photos next day and found strange silver color cigar, elipsoid, spherical shape objects in 12 (from 90) photos. I am attaching 2 of them.

Next day I have spent on the lake and made 50 photos of sky and landscape, but there where no silver objects (I guess it indicates these were not defects of the camera). As you can see from the numbers of photos , I have made around 6000 shots with my camera. Never before I captured similar things. There was no defects with this camera.

I was doing an early morning paper round and I saw this light under heavy cloud cover, the light was a narrow oval shape, and although very bright had a very distinct edge around it, not blurred at all. I was only 12 at the time and had an image of friendly aliens whom might exist. But when I saw the light all I could do was freeze on the spot, I couldn't move a muscle. I was literally "scared stiff". Like a rabbit caught in the headlights of a car. I followed the object as it slowly moved across the sky under the clouds, I couldn't help but watch it, I couldn't stop myself, or cycle away, which I desperately wanted to do.

Over and over in my head I just kept repeating to myself "don't come near me, don't come near me, don't come near me, go away, go away, go away" I couldn't think anything else. Then it went behind a cloud, came out, went behind another cloud, came out, went behind another cloud, nothing, it didn't come back. Then I regained the use of my limbs and I cycled home as fast as I could. Of course no-one believed me. And I keep it pretty quiet to this day, as there are too many people ready to mock and pour scorn on you. With all the fantastic stories out there I am not really surprised, I am sceptical myself being a naturally critical person, but my experience was real enough for me to know there is something in it all. I have never seen a picture exactly like what I saw that day and hope one day I see something on film which was the same, perhaps there is, but I just haven't seen it. If you have such a picture I would like to see it.
