Appearance / Description of Object(s)

They looked like orange lights. Not overly bright, kind of muted, but still the most noticeable thing thing in the sky except for all the blinking strobes on the commercial airline traffic in the area. The first set we saw was 7-10 ships flying in a very tight formation, something like what the blue angels do at an airshow. They were not in perfect formation, but almost perfect which made me feel like they definitely weren't connected and also not being piloted by a computer. They really looked plans flying maneuvers but at speeds that where completely impossible for a plane. There was no sonic boom. I couldn't determine speed/altitude/size of the objects, just that they where moving insanely fast and seemed to be quite large, but also quite high. All the airplanes in the area which are going 200-400 knots as they arrive or leave Miami international airport where basically floating at a relative stand still, so by seeing them and seeing these lights the speeds they where reaching where beyond human capabilities.

Me and my girlfriend where walking on the beach at about 2am. We both saw a meteor go thru the sky and decided to lay down and look up for a while and try to see another one. After about 10 minutes i got bored of looking because we have extreme light pollution in Miami and you can only really see the biggest meteors which are quite rare except during showers like the perseids or Leonids.

She continued to look up and then she gave a yelp/gasp and said "omg, what the hell is that?" I looked up immediately with the intent of identifying whatever it was. As i saw it moving across the sky and I began to knock out possible explanations; it's not a plane, or really bright spot lights, or a balloon, or anything. As I began to come to terms with what I was seeing every single hair in my body stood up and tears began streaming from my eyes even though I didn't blink more than once for the entire 10 seconds of viewing time. The shock was overwhelming. I didn't know what to think, we immediately began to doubt ourselves and try to find an explanation for what we saw.

"I'm not crazy, your not crazy, WTF did we just see? Not 20 seconds later we see the same light flying thru the sky again. Except this time it was a lone object. Not a formation of Objects. It flew the same flight path as the formation and then disappeared into the same cloud as the prior objects.

I've always believed in aliens and they're existence. I did not however believe in UFOs on earth. My "belief" I'd that they probably exist but they're not visiting earth. My small little mind wants to discount what I saw and find a logical explanation, but I can't lie to myself about what I saw. It was unexplainable and un real. None of the videos I've ever seen have made me think "that cant be anything but a UFO" like what I saw last night.

I went crazy googling, checking Twitter, news sites, etc for someone else who saw what i saw at the same time. But alas, it seems no one else saw it or at least no one reported it. Most people at the beach at 2am are either drunk or intoxicated so it would probably get written off as just seeing things but I was sober as a bird, very rational, and I'm well versed in aviation, military planes, and science in general. I can't explain what I saw. I won't give-up trying to disprove what I saw, but for now I can't find a terrestrial explanation.

It was a large black object. It was rounded at the top and flat at the bottom. Underneath it had 3 large red lights. It was low enough to the ground that we could see the entire shape of it.

It was quite large, the whole entity covered the whole length of my neighbor's house. As previously stated, it was not "far in the distance" it was low enough that we could actually see the item in question.

It was located in a subdivision of Metro-Detroit. The Detroit Airport is about 10 minutes (by car) away, but this object was not headed in the direction of the airport, nor did it look like any planes that we have ever seen and my family has lived there for over 50 years. Also, it was lower than any plane that crosses our area.

My mother and I both saw a low flying craft hovering over our neighbor's house across the street. We leave about 10 minutes away from the Detroit Metro Airport, so we see many low flying airplanes all the time. This aircraft was not headed in the direction of the airport, instead it was REALLY low, pretty much hovering just over our neighbors' houses across the street. It was flat on the bottom and rounded on top and had three large red lights on the bottom. I moved quite slowly and my mother and I both decided to follow it, we turned to grab keys to lock the house up, and turned back around and the craft was gone. We got in our car and drove around our whole neighborhood and could not find it.

I did not know much about UFO's besides the fact that people had seen them, but after my sighting, I truly believe. My mom was the first to see it and she called me to the window and all she said was "tell me that you see this so I know that I'm not crazy" and I said "the UFO?" and she just shook her head.

Friend and I were sitting on my balcony about midnight and we heard and then felt a very low sort of hum. As we sat there and said "What the hell is that" I caught site of the very front point of a triangular shaped vessel emerging from the back of my house moving towards the front ( my balcony is at the front of the house) as we watched, the vessel, at a very slow pace emerged. The vessel was so close that had it not been dark we would have been able to see every detail. We both were astounded. As the vessel passed in front of the house we saw a series of lights across the back. The triangle shape was very clear and very large. Looked like a piece of pie with lights across the crust edge.

The object was bigger than the house is was suspended over. I would estimate that it was about 100' in diameter. It looked like a grey plastic oval shape with a dome on top. There was light emitting from openings all around the edges. When it passed overhead I could see the workings underneath that consisted of mulitple mechanical networks.

I have quite a few memories of living in the outskirts of Carlsbad, NM. Not all of them are understandable. I remember waking in the middle of the night several times with complete panick. I was in high school at the time and never understood why I had night terrors. My encounter with a large object in the sky was sometime around the same period yet I never investigated further. The night I saw the object with a friend is still vivid yet there are holes in the memories. I remember vividly seeing the object. I remember the object passing directly over my car. I could see the under belly of the craft but I don't know why my next memory is with the craft off in the distance over a field. I know the first time I read of some other peoples encounters of the third kind that my mind raced back to sounds and feeling that are strikingly similar.

Perfectly Round... I took pictures of it and when zoomed in it looks like a perfectly round sphere of light- almost as if it was made to look like a star

Tonight I saw strange lights in the sky. July 2nd, starting about 3a.m I was outside with my sister. It was a starry night so she and I were watching the stars. I live over a lake, up on a hill, and across the lake is another hill, the lake being in a sort of valley. Directly above the stars are clear, and it was beautiful, but there were clouds in the sky… there was a ring of clouded-ness all around the horizon blocking any stars for the entirety of the horizon. I spotted a bright light- directly across the lake, over Bridgewater… which was strange, because no other stars could penetrate the cloud cover. We watched it, it appeared to be moving, but that could have just been us. We looked around and saw other, much dimmer lights floating about, but nothing even close to this light- even the brightest stars in the sky didn’t compare- and this light was placed somewhere where no star could be seen.. We heard sirens off in Bridgewater, than wolves howling, which was haunting but was most likely irrelevant- interesting information nonetheless. Than we see a red light- what appears to be a plane soon following the sirens. We heard it- I was almost sure it was a plane, it flew right up to the light, flew by it, then turned around and looped back… nothing else interesting. For the remainder of the following hour we just saw the light vanish from view and reappear, an effect that at first was interpreted as “the lights of the craft” turning on and off.. but then were seen more realistically as clouds moving in and out from in front of the light.. Pertinent information nonetheless- this, to me, shows that this indeed was a hovering object- I took pictures with a fairly decent camera with a good zoom, and the best pictures I can get reveal a perfect circle of light, almost as if the object was intended to look like a star in the night sky. Around 4a.m we lost interest after not seeing it for quite a few minutes and began to walk back up my driveway, halfway up it returns! Now much higher than before (or much closer to our location).. We watched it for another ten or so minutes and it certainly moved a bit... Just enough to show that it was in fact something intelligent. It never moved drastically (except for when it appeared in a different location) only hovered over a certain point. In this particular event the evidence is not in the event itself, but the small trivialities that prove that this was not something that should be floating around at 3:33a.am, but something I do not understand, and I seek to do just that, understand this strange and intriguing event.

it could be described as some celestial object, but my gut is telling me its not. I gave all the evidence and tried to avoid my opinion as much as possible in this description. THe slight movement of the light along with the "cloudy horizon" effect is telling me this was nothing within the constraints of "normal"

Oval light darting back and forth whilst also appearing to dissapear and reappear in seconds.

Picture was taken at 19:50 on April 15th 2011 whilst driving along a local common ( Bryncethin, Bridgend, South Wales 2011 )

Never seen anything move like this before and took a few pictures of the ' object ' in question, my partner was driving at the time and couldn't really see it as such, as she was concentrating on the road, but i only got 1 good shot of the ' object ' did try to change my phone to video but then the object was out of sight.

Regarding sound i couldn't hear anything but the ' object ' was a fair distance away from me.

It was round like a perfect circle. It was close to us, So it was about the size of my house, or 2 7-11 stores. (I'm not good at math, sorry) It was silver. I only saw the bottom of it. It had lights that were ambient, or occluded from view. They were blinking and if I remember right they were blue and white. It had some panelling near the lights meaning it was not just silver and lights but honestly I can't exactly remember the panelling well. It had perfect movement and incredible speed. Apparently we were the only people to see the thing, other than the helicopter pilots.

t was christmas eve 1980 and I was a ten year old boy. My mom had to do some very very last minute shopping at the Northgate Mall in Terra Linda. We shopped until the mall closed at 11:00 pm. That is the time all the doors closed. We left the Mall around 11:05. So we took the Los Ranchitos Road to drive back to Santa Venetia. So about 2 minutes later my mom all of a sudden started freaking out. She was panicking and saying to me, "Did you see that? Oh my god! Conan! What is that? I said, "See what?" ..."Where?" I did not see anything around. I looked over at my mom and for some reason she was looking out of the driver's side window, but looking up, at the sky. So I rolled down the window and looked directly up. What I was about to see was an incredible and unbelievable sight. I saw a flying disc shaped U.F.O. I could not believe my eyes. It was right there, just sort of hanging in the sky. It was moving at a slow speed. Obviously my mom, thank God, had stopped the car to view it. I could not believe how my mother even saw this thing in the first place, because it was so dark out. It was not making any sound that I could hear. It was also not hovering like a helicopter or a boat in water. It was moving perfect, approximately about 1/2-1 a mile an hour. It was about 35-40 feet directly above our car, a blue chevrolet. I looked at this thing and said, "WOOOOOOOOW!!!! COOOL!"

It was absolutely the most incredible thing that I have ever seen in my entire life and will never forget that moment in time. So after looking at it for about a 1/2 a minute, The thing all of a sudden stopped, moved up maybe 50 feet and shot off towards China Camp, or San Pablo Bay. Moving at the fastest speed I have ever seen, nor will ever again. It was near some train tracks and a hill. Then we were still on the side of the road looking around, and about 4 seconds later we heard helicopters. They were chasing the craft obviously. There were 3 black helicopters. The kind that belong on an army base. They had coast guard or army grade engines, I could tell. That was what I saw....Oh when we got back home it was 12:30 am and my father said we were late and was angry at my mother. He thought we had gone somewhere else. Apparently we have some lost time issue with this thing. I told my dad that we went to the mall. That's my story.

I was in first or second grade and attending West Virginia Elementary school in MN. During recess on a cool, either early spring or late fall day multiple saucer shaped silver objects were seen in the sky from the elementary school playground. I remember many students and teachers standing watching them. When I went back to class, my seat was toward the back of the classroom near the coat room. I remember being afraid of what I had seen in the sky and of being afraid that something may be endangering us at the school or as a nation.

Have never seen man made objects of this nature and it was definitely not animals, clouds, birds ad there were numerous and they were seen at close enough range that everyone could tell it was not something they had seen before as everyone stood just watching them flying in the sky.

I was a child and knew nothing about UFOs and was quite frightened by what I had seen. We were told that it was a site seen by many and that it was weather balloons. I never believed that as these did not look like balloons, but solid metalic objects.
