I was in our house watching TV. Six of my family members were out in the back yard. We were having a small cook-out, because it was Labor Day weekend.

I then heard my mom calling me to come out quick and see something. I ran out to see what was going on. They pointed up ito the sky and said " look, what is that? "

I looked up and didn't know what to say. I saw a strange object. It was a globe about the size of a small private plane. It was spinning as it went by. It looked like black metal, but it was very shinny, like a mirror. I could see the sun reflecting off of it. It came from the east and was heading west. It was silent as it went by. It was a very clear evening, and i could see it very well. It was low in the sky as it went over our next door neighbor's house. I was in complete awe as i looked at it. As it got further in the western sky it appeared as a bright light. It is hard to explain, but before it was out of sight, it became a bright light.

I was excited about seeing the object. No one really knew what to say about it. I tryed to talk about it with all my family members that saw it. I guess its hard to talk about something you don't know about. I tryed to tell some friends about it, but they thought i was crazy or nuts.

In conclusion, i think there is a massive amount of life outside of our planet, and it's really no big deal.

The last and most incredible sighting:

We were sitting on the beach with a fire, for mine and a pals shared birthdays, when I saw these lights headed towards Maui from the direction of Oahu. I thought they were headed towards the airport here onm Maui, but these bright lights, turned and headed along the Kihei beach, slowly.

It was shaped like a eight sided object ---but long tube like .. About 2/3rds along the length... there was a break in the object, and then there was a second (same 8 sided shape tube) closely behind it..didn't look connected, but it could have been--and as it passed I saw many darting lights flying around the end of the object. There was the annual August meteor showers, and you could see them above this object. It seemed to be translucent..meaning we could see though it, but it had lights all along the six sided shape..outlined like. But I thought I could see stars though the long shape...It was like it was outlined in bright neon light, but you could see through it.

It was huge, and we all got really alert, and I was scared. I don't scare easily.

It flew slowly in front of us--then turned left, and flew over the top of Haleakala...and then we heard later (from other people her on Maui) down the other side and then gone. The whole state was a buzz with this for a few days, then silence...except for those that were together. We call it "The Sighting".

I had good friends having a bon fire directly up the mountain from where we were, and they saw the exact same thing.

I am an inter-Island sales rep--and a few days later..flying to Kauai, I met someone on the plane who said that they had seen the same thing on Kauai, and so did many others there.

At the opening of the Super Computer site (partial military) open house a few weeks later--I asked a representative from the LArge Telescope company--why they don't admit that what we all saw here in Hawaii..was a UFO--after two short diverting answers to my repetetive questioning..he finally said..because the public couldn't handle the news.

A second sighting in my life----Many years earlier--on the back side of Maui--up in Kanaio, I was in a hot tub, and layed my head back on the ledge of the tub--and saw three lights flying over the rim of the Haleakal Crater. They were blue lights. I watched them, as they traveled just over head...for a few minutes.then they all of a sudden turned RED and moved very very quickly forward, and then disappeared.

After work around 3:00 am in the morning, a gentleman friend and I went to Lake Chabot dock and chatted as we enjoyed the moonlight. Suddenly, we heard a hovering sound, looked up and saw a huge 100' wide metal saucer with colored lights. It lowers itself into the mountains as though it was hiding. All light from the moon was gone. My friend ran. I wanted to stay and look, but as I looked back at my friend I realized it was pitch dark and I couldn't see the pathway back to our car. Noticed 2 large bright lights approaching me as I was proceeding up Ganttown Rd at intersection of Egg Harbor Rd. This object was at my approx. 10 o' clock position while I was waiting for the red light to change (I was now stopped). While waiting for the light to change I noticed that this "thing" didn't appear to be moving. It seemed too big and too low to be landing or taking off (Cross Keys Airport within 5-6 miles) and the lights, although very bright, didn't defract at all--I have very bad astigmatism and most light sources to me are very defractive in nature (not crisply defined) and are more starburst in appearance. These lights however were perfectly shaped and round. I thought to myself that this "plane" was maybe a helicopter hovering but when the traffic light changed green and I went forward, I started to notice the 2 lights were actually 4 lights. The road bends to the left thereby gaining a better side view of this object where it remained. As I approached from this angle I was then enlightened to the fact that there were also 2 more "perfect" lights on the rear section plus 2 beautiful red lights at the rear-somewhat inset it seemed-and the red ones were very slowing "pulsing". Not blinking, not strobing like conventional aircraft, mind you--just pulsing. Alternating every 1-2 seconds. As the object now became more visible to me at my 9 o'clock position I was so in amazement that I literally stopped my vechicle in the middle of the road. This thing was about 1/4 mile away, again only about 500-800 feet above ground and not moving. I rolled down my window to see if I could hear any rotor blade noise ( I was now thinking it must be a helicopter because it was just perfectly still) but it was whisper quiet. I was waiting for another car to pass to gain their attention but much to my amazement---honest to God---no one else was around. I could see other cars on the next cross street (Hurfville-Cross Keys Rd) but none came down or up Ganttown Rd. at this time. I stayed in observation for at least 30-40 seconds when all of a sudden this thing lept forward (with respect to its flight direction) at least 1/4-1/2 mile and slightly away from me (to its right) within a 1/2 a second !! This scared the living Hell out of me such that I screamed "oh shit!", put my truck in gear and sped toward the next intersection. I had a green light, made my left and knew that within a 1/8 mile I would be able to observe this thing from the rear because there was a good sightline that way. I sure enough saw it a good 1/2 mile away, still at the same perceived height, red rear lights slowly pulsing and then I had to make the right hand turn on Altair Drive into my development. I proceeded down Altair drive, a tall-tree lined street with some slight bends/curves while literally shaking with fear, excitement, etc. when all of a sudden this same object (or looked to be the same)

appeared above the tree line approx. 500-600 feet above me coming from my 10 0'clock in a path to my 4 o' clock position. I think I screamed and then stopped the truck.

I rolled down the window and stuck my head out of it to gain a sight from and underneath vantage point. It moved diagonally across me very very slowly, and I literally yelled "what the hell are you!". As I did so I could now see some semblence of structure. It was dark out but I could see that this thing was more boomerang in shape. With 4 forward lights, 2 outside rear lights and 2 recessed/inset red lights. I could now see 4 more "underbelly" lights and what seemed to be its shape of a boomerang like resemblence. As it passed by I was amazed at how slowly and quietly it went by. There's no human-made craft that can accomplish this with our current knowledge of physical science, this I can assure you.

After it passed over me (took about 20-30 seconds) I sped home and rushed into the house to alert my family. I was evern paranoid that it had followed me and rushed back outside to see if it had. It didn't but what an experience. It was 5 years ago and I still remember it as vividly as I did back then. I even drew sketches showing my vantage points and observations. As a matter of fact, because I thought I was going crazy or something I called my local Police Dept (the next day) to see if there were any sightings

that evening in the general area (no, was the answer).

I actually reported this to an online UFO reporting sight but they wanted me to upload pictures, etc. and I just didn't feel like going thru all of that.

I was out with my girlfriend to watch a meteor shower. While it was still rather early in the eveniong for that activity, I was pointing out various planet positions for that night , and where we should look in the sky/horizon directions for our best viewing, when Carolyn pointed to a rather bright object in the sky that I could not identify.

It was just a bright light, that I at first that was a oncoming helicopter, but after several minutes it turned red, then blue, then white agian, and it began to "squiggle" in the sky.

We watched this for several minutes, and then a large plane, probably a commercial aircraft, flew by, and the object came to a complete standstill in the sky, anyone looking at it would swear it was just a star. I watched the object with much stricter attention now, and sure enough, it began the squggling again.

Carolyn was also witnessing everything I was witnessing as it happened, we even stated out loud what we were seeing to be sure we werent each having different different eye problems or something. We were both getting quite excited and kinda creeped out, it was exhilerating, and I knew I had to be sure, so we flagged down the next vehicle that passed by,(Something that a guy would normally choose NOT to do in the middle of nowhere with his girlfriend, not knowing who, or how many people are in the oncoming vehicle) we were out in the main logging roads of Taylor River, a logging area near North Bend Wa.

We asked the to look at what we were looking at and tell us what they thought.

WE watched for almost 41/2 hours,during that time, our new companions spotted the first of the additional objects after a jet passed in the sky within the first 20 minutes after we flagged them over.

The original object did its "freeze in the sky trick" when a jet passed by, and one of the other new witnesses followed the jet instead of staying on our object. Suddenly he exclaimed "Look theres another one!" The amazing thing was that it did every move and squiggle in the sky, at EXACTLY the same time and speed as the original, we all saw it.

By the end of the evening we saw over 16 of these objects doing EXACTLY the same thing at the same time.

These objects were spaced evenly, in a perfectly strait line all across the sky, in a north to west arc.

At one point in the evening, about 2:30am, the "second" object (the one our friends spotted first) dropped a red dot, that shot off into the sky, and then a white, dimmer dot dropped out of it and went strait downward, then went east much slower than the red one, I jokingly said "Someone's getting abducted tonight" and we all kinda laughed, then we got real serious and I asked one of my companions "did you just see that?" and he said yes, and proceeded to decribed exactly the same thing I saw as well.

I swear on my childs life this is a true report of actual events.

WE called the news stations from my cellphone, the first laughed at me.

The second, said it was meteors because of the shower. I explained to them that I was an amatuer astronomer, I spent alot of time looking at the sky, I know what a meteor looks like, I know what a satellite looks like(these objects were too bright, and did amazing arial moves, not to mention they were too low in the sky to be satellites, I've seen them hundreds of times, these were not satellites) I know what a helicopter jet etc. all look like as well, for I have spent years living next to airport and military bases.

She hung up on me.

The third said I was picking the wrong night for wasting their time.

WE continued to watch the objects until we simply had to leave for it was getting too cold, and it was getting towards sunrise in a couple hoursl

I was at work the next day and one of my co-workers admitted he saw something too, while he was out waiting for the meteor shower to start but he was quiet about it.

On my way home from playing at a friends house, I came across two other school friends and their mothers sitting outside their house on a summer night. I was around age 11 - I estimate the year as 1968 plus or minus a year - and the other two children were my classmates. We were looking up at the sky and I pointed to the moon, which looked oval shaped a a little fuzzy. One of the other children said "that's not the moon," and pointed to another object that looked exactly like the first. Altogether, there were three of these "moons" and we children and the two moms were looking up trying to figure out what was going on. All of a sudden, one of the "moons" began expanding rapidly with bands of technicolor light in just about every color of the spectrum. As the disk expanded, I had the sense that the object was descending, and it seemed like it came within a few hundred feet, nearly filling the view of the sky. Instantaneously, the colors all a bit shaken, and continued to watch the moon. After a few seconds, nother one of the "moons" did the exact same thing as the first. The next day I asked my neighbor, a police officer, what the lights were. He told me it was a Russian weather ballon.

We watched a round object in the sky that did not move for approx. 7 min. and we watched it for 8 mi. on I-64 near Afton Mt. in Augusta Co., Va. The object was sitting at the apex of two jet contrails that may have been 5 to 8 mi. away at a height of approx. 28K to 21K feet. We first saw it when we left the top of Afton Mt.west bound and it was still in the same position when we reached the exit at Waynsboro, Va. We later timed the distance from where we first saw it to where we last saw it and it was 7 min. We went behind a enbankment on I-64 westbound and it was gone when we came to an area where we could see the jetstreams again. It was many times larger than an airplane and it did not move while we were observing it. It was 2 yrs. before my friend or I had the nerve to tell anyone about it because of the fear of ridicule. The object looked like a silver hub cap standing on it's end and it was hugh.

What we saw was definately metalic,round and very large. We don't know how it could hang in the sky with no movement for that long. The amazing thing was that it was located exactly in the apex of the crossing jet trails and no other clouds were anywhere in site nor were there any other jet streams. One jet stream was trailing a course that was from the Charlotte, NC area toward Pittsburg area and the other was in a direction from the Washington area to Atlanta area. I travel a lot and these jet streams were at the height for intermediate distance flights (18K to 23K ft). I would estimate their verticle location would have been over I-81 about 8 mi. south of Staunton, Va.

My younger brother & I were up late talking and looking out of our bedroom window on a Saturday night/Sunday morning. We witnessed a saucer shaped object with a revolving band of red, green, blue, yellow and white lights swoop down ot of the night sky and hover about 5 - 10 ft. off the ground over a field across the street from our house. It was a metallic, disc like saucer with rounded domes on top and bottom with a wide band of multi-colored lights spinning and blinking across the center of the craft. I specifically remember the night of the week because we always watched Abbott & Costello Midnight Movie every Saturday night. When the saucer first descended and began to hover I looked around behind us thinking it was a reflection on the window from the TV screen. NO DICE! The movie on the tube was called "The Time of Our Lives", filmed in good ole B & W. No way were all those colored lights a reflection. I don't remember how long we watched the thing hover but it eventually tilted to about a 45 degree angle to the ground and zipped off away from us across the sky. It was amazingly fast and was out of sight in the distance in a matter of a second or two. My brother and I were sort of in shock at first and then we became really excited about telling someone about what we'd seen. I remember we discussed it for a little while and deceided we'd wait and tell our parents first thing the next morning. Funny thing though, we'd didn't tell anyone for a very long time. We didn't even remember the incident until about 15 years later. We'd gone camping and were just sitting around our campfire that night when my brother looked over at me and asked me if I remembered the incident. It was all right there in my head when he asked, not like I'd just remembered at that moment, but like it'd just been there all along and I'd just never acknowledged it or talked about it. We've talked it all around since and told a few others, but it just sounds crazy to most people I guess. Hell, it sounds crazy to me too! We both have other weird half-remembered impressions about the night of the sighting but I'm not sure if they're actual memories or just dreams. The saucer; however, was as real as anything I've ever seen.

I ALWAYS LIKE TO WATCH STARS EVERY NIGHT. AT TIME WHEN THE SKY IS BRIGHT I WOULD WAKE UP MY YOUNGER BROTHER TO LOOK AT THE SKY. I SAW (AND I BELIEVE HE DID IF HE STILL REMEMBERS TODAY), TWO CRESCENT OBJECTS AT THE HORIZON SLOWLY RISING IN THE CLEAR SKY. BOTH WERE ALIGNED AND CLIMBING ALTITUDE. THE OBJECTS WERE THROWING THIN PHASER LIGHTS (RED) TO EACH OTHER AND KEPT CLIMBING. I GOT SCARED AND DREW THE CURTAINS. THE OBJECTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN HUGE SINCE THEY APPEARED FAR AWAY.

A COUPLE OF MONTHS AFTER, I WITNESSED A STRANGE FEELING IN MY ROOM. WE HAVE WINDOW BARS AT HOME ESPECIALLY IN MY ROOM WHICH WAS UPSTAIRS AND FACE THE ROAD ESPECIALLY TOWARDS THE SKY WHERE I SAW THE EVENTS SOME MONTHS BACK.

USUALLY WHEN A LORRY WOULD PASS BY , THE WINDOWS WOULD RATTLE A LITTLE. I REALLY MEAN A LITTLE. HOWEVER ON THAT PARTICULAR NIGHT I WAS SLEEPING AND I HEARD A LORRY COMING PAST MY HOUSE. AND THE RATTLING STARTED. FUNNY ENOUGH THE RATTLING KEPT ON FOR MINUTES!!! AS IF IT WOULD NEVER STOPPED AND I OPENED MY EYES TO BE SURE THAT I WAS NOT SLEEPING. I WASN'T. I ALSO HEARD A VERY VERY ANNOYING LOUD BUZZ IN MY EAR. THEN IT STOPPED ABRUPTLY. MY PYJAMAS WERE SOAKED IN SWEAT.

I WAS 13 OR 14 YEARS OLD AT THAT TIME. I AM 34 NOW. I HAVE NEVER BEEN THROUGH THIS AGAIN SINCE IT FIRST HAPPENED.

I WAS STUDYING IN THE UK IN 1992. EARLY MORNING, I USED TO WATCH A DEBATE PROGRAMME ON TV CALLED KILROY. I REMEMBER THEY HAD A UFO DEBATE ONCE. I EVEN GOT LATE TO COLLEGE BECAUSE OF IT. I REMEMBER CLEARLY ONE PERSON WHO RELATED THE SIMILAR EVENT THAT I WENT THROUGH. I WAS SO EXCITED THAT I DECIDED TO CALL THE TV STATION BY THE NUMBER THEY GAVE ON SCREEN. I NEVER GOT THROUGH.
