I live in a house about 75 feet from the seawall in seattle wa., my room has a big window that faces the ocean. I woke up at about 3:30 in the morning and had to go to the bathroom, when i came back to bed i looked out at the ocean and saw a strange light. It was in the water, under the water, I thought maybe a boat had sunk close to the seawall. I put on some sweats and a coat and went out to look and see if anyone was in the water. It was foggy but I could see out at water level for a couple hundred yards. I got to the seawall and the light was bright, blue and yellow, it was about 30 yeards out from where I was standing. It moved slow away from me and got brighter, then it was almost out of the water it got dimmer. The thing came up out of the water, it was shaped like a blimp, like a long fat cigar, it had to be 150 to 200 feet long and a dull shiny color like peuter. The lights had dimmed alot but I could still se it real clear. It stopped about 20 feet above the water and just hung there for about 30 seconds then went out just above the water a couple hundered feet then went up and was gone in a flash.

Driving in from Albuquerque I noticed a weird sound in my brothers truck. I turned the radio off, but the sound just got louder. It sound like the bass was on full blast. We drive up to my brothers house and noticed a large ship in front of us that resembled a large plane getting ready to land. I started to freak out when i noticed it wasnt a plane but a ship of some kind. I told my wife to look at it but she was looking in the wrong direction and could see it but could hear it. So I ran into brothers house and brought him outside to see it, by that time it was over the Villa Linda Mall and it turned to the right side and disappeared into the sky. The wierd thing about this was that it was transparent. The stars were visible through it and also had a large sqaure

We live in a single family house on a hillside over looking "the valley" where Reisterstown RD. runs from east to West. We are on the south side of Reisterstown Rd. (21 Old Tollgate Rd). I was laying on our trampoline looking up at the stars and I noticed that some of them were dissappearing almost directly above me. There was a very faint V shape that I could see moving slowly from south to north.

As I looked harder at it, and it began to move directly over the valley, it was below a very slight cloud layer that was at most 1000 ft. I guess that because it was reflecting some light from the valley. When the vehicle came between the cloud layer and myself you could see that it was pretty much perfectly triangular, almost equilateral.

It was black with the exception of a very slight gray V shape along the bottom. There were no lights what so ever on it. Nothing at the points of the triangle, no collision stobes. It looked a good bit like a stealth fighter from directly below, but I could not see the serrated rear edge. I have seen both stealth aircraft up close on the ground and doing daylight flybyes at around 300-600 feet, and it did look a bit like one.

There was no sound what so ever. There was no masking noise in the area to disrupt any sound coming off of it, and it appeared to be no more that 400 feet away when I first noticed it. No exhaust, no apparent heat trail, nothing.

It was moving very slowly, so although it was very low, I had a pretty good long look at it. It maintained altitude and heading and went straight north. I got off of the trampoline so that the pine tree in the back would not block my view and could see a fairly low angle view from the rear. When it got to a certain point, perhaps a half mile away it seemed to just dissappear, although as flat as it seemed, just the angle would have made it even harder to see.

It was definitely solid, and so black that it was extremely hard to see, even as close as it was. If I had not been looking directly at the stars it passed in front of I would never have noticed it. The thing that scared me about it was the fact that a thousand of those could go over this neighborhood every night and no one would even notice them.

I am very familiar with all known civilian aircraft, and all known military aircraft in the current inventory. I work for Lockheed Martin and I have had that interest since childhood. The absolute total silence of it was spooky, along with the slow air speed.

About 20 minutes prior to seeing it, a helocopter had made a complete transit of the area at a slighly higher altitude, which was interesting. I lived about a half mile from the Garrison county police unit and the county copter would at least pass by there if not land very frequently. Generally, the county copter goes over this area every night at around 11 or so. I could not see the colors on it, but it sounded like the usual, but not like the JetRangers that the state police fly. What made it notable was the slow racetrack it ran over the area, but with no spotlight to the ground as if it was looking for something. I don't know if that was related at all.

Frank Griffin is a firm believer in extraterrestrial life, but he didn’t like the eerie shadow he saw gliding across the sky behind his home in Owings Mills earlier this month.

The Lockheed Martin software engineer was in his backyard looking at the stars the evening of Feb. 9 when a black triangle hovering overhead caught his eye.

"It was very dark and this thing was so hard to see," he said. "But it was moving slowly, with no lights and no noise. Honestly, I didn’t feel comfortable. It was sort of scary."

Owings Mills, Md., is a densely populated suburb not far from a local airport, Andrews Air Force Base and the Patuxent Naval Air Station.

But for Griffin, who has studied aircraft since he was a child, the object didn’t look like anything he’d ever seen or heard about before.

The black triangle was at a low altitude, maybe 500 to 800 feet, with no lights, he said.

"It was so low, at first I thought it was something caught in the trees," Griffin said.

He said it looked a bit like a stealth bomber, but was "absolutely silent."

Griffin wonders if anyone else in the area saw something similar that evening. He spotted the object about 6:45 p.m. and watched its ascent across the sky for three to four minutes.

"It had only been dark maybe half an hour, 45 minutes," he said. "I wonder if it was out before dark."

Mysterious black triangles have been part of UFO folklore for years. Sightings of low-flying and silent aircraft are scattered across websites dedicated to the study of other-worldly activity.

The National Institute for Discovery Science, a group devoted to the study of unexplained phenomena, has gathered hundreds of reports from across U.S. and Canada of similar aircraft, often flying in high-population areas near major interstates.

One theory holds that the black triangles are experimental military blimps or balloons, perhaps equipped with electrokinetic propulsion systems, which would make them silent.

The military has never confirmed the existence of such balloons, but according to many UFO websites, Lockheed Martin did begin work on a triangular stealth blimp in 1982.

NIDS issued a report in August 2004 suggesting that the black triangles may be some kind of military aircraft, though the truth about them is not known.

Griffin finds solace in the fact that what he saw might have a logical explanation.

"I felt a little comforted when a buddy suggested it might be a military balloon," he said. "But I’d really like to know if anyone else spotted this thing."

I would love to know if anyone else in the area saw this. Had it been higher and faster I might have thought it was a stealth fighter or something, but at the distance I saw it, moving as slowly and silently as it was, I don't think it was anything military. Also, without any markers it was flying right in the BWI NW landing pattern, and there were planes fairly well stacked in bound in the area into which it was directly headed.

My sister and I went out to take the dog for a short walk before bed. It was just before 10 p.m. and we had been out about 5 to 10 minutes. Upon walking back to our house we were crossing the street and were at the mouth of a parking lot of a church on the corner of the street (we are almost at the top of a small hill). Looking north we noticed a very large, brightly lit craft flying low above the tree line. There were several passenger jet/aircraft flying at higher altitudes, so this really stook out. It was flying extremely slow in a straight line from east to west (our right to our left) It stayed at the same altitude and was momentarily blocked from view by the church building. We (and the dog) ran to the corner so that we could continue viewing the craft. It continued low above the main street and suddenly stopped, hovering above (from our vantage point) a residential neighborhood, perhaps 1+ miles) away. It hovered for perhaps a minute or less, then seemed to change direction and slowly descend, from left to right, in a vertical slant. We both could not believe what we were seeing and we were so excited I ran home to get binoculars and an instant camera. My sister kept watch. Upon returning no more than 5 minutes later, she did not see anything else. The craft simply seemed to "descend" into the neighborhood. We walked approximately 1/2 miles in the direction where we thought it may have landed, but saw nothing. We were both visibly shaken and excited/scared. I am 31 and my sister is 23. We have had other possible sightings but nothing as undeniable as this.

Our family was relatively new to S.F. and had just bought our first house at 68 Carrizal street (out near the Cow Palace) . I think it was a Sunday. We had just finished dinner and Dad,myself, and my younger brother were in the living room each with different sections of the Sunday paper. Mom was still in the kitchen washing dishes. The kitchen window was over the sink and faced our back yard looking in the direction of Mission street..

Mom excitedly called for all of us to come into the kitchen.. We all gathered at the sink and stared at a huge glowing orange disc, at least twice as big as the Moon. I was just 9 years old going on 10 but was already a self trained plane spotter and knew every plane in the sky by sillouette.

The orange disc remained perfectly stationary for the entire time that we witnessed it, There seemed to be swirling effect to the orange light. All of the time we were watching it, I had the very strong feeling that it was watching me. When it disappeared it seemed to shring like someone letting the air out of a ballon only it was very smooth and linear. It maintained it position the whole time.

The next thing I knew dad was looking at the clock and saying, "You better get to bed, you have school tomorrow". We had not been watching the clock but we were in the habit of eating dinner pretty early. I think we lost from 1 to 3 hours time.

first night: moved from west to south eats, emits flash of light, then hovers

second night: opposite direction, no light, no hover but changes speed

third night: from west to south, u-turns and goes 4 times as fast.

lighted object, third night viewed with binoculars. Made husband come out and watch it the second night but he though it was sattilite and went back inside house. It is too high up to be jet and too silent on such a quiet still night as we have here in the middle of wilderness.

Am going to try and video tape it tomorrow night as I have extra telephoto lens on a Canon L-q video camera.

It is somewhat frightening as I have never seen anything move so fast across the sky. My husband thinks it must be some kind of new military vehicle.

anyone looking at what I saw would assume this was a star. I thought so too until I say it move across the sky, then hover, and in subsequent nights, watched it change directions and go so fast I could not track it with my binoculars. Something is so strange in that I have seen this 3 separate nights. I am very skeptical of UFOs and believe this must be some kind of military object. I do intend to videotape it tomorrow night if is clear once again. I live in an area that is considered very dark as there is only one small town in this, the third largest county in Idaho. In fact, NASA is putting up a mid-level size telescope near us. They say it is to study black holes but a friend of mine who is into astronomy says that a midsize cannot study black holes. Other than it is a very dark and clear sky area, I don't understand why they do want a telescope so far away from any school or military base. We do find it interesting that in the last year or so, several CIA folks have moved into the area. I suspect there is something miliitary going on.

A friend of mine and I were working very late on a hotrod project in the garage. My friend Jimmy went out the side door of the garage into the back yard to get some fresh air. He was out there for about a minute when he opened the door and asked me, "Weave, what do UFOs look like? Come check this out." I walked outside and he pointed to a very brightly lit object that looked to be over the eastern end of Kirtland Air Force Base. The object then began to swing back and forth, not allways in a straight line, but in a curve. Kind of like swinging from a rope. I also moved in a straight line back and forth in short distances randomly very quickly. I said to Jimmy as I pointed at it, "Thats a UFO!" As soon as I finished saying that, The object just took off at blistering speed, up at a 45 degree angle to the east over the Manzano mountians and dissapeared in less than a second! We both ran into each other trying to get back into the garage in a hurry. We were both speachless and just looked at each other in amazement and shock. A couple of days later I was visiting another friend of mine that lived in a rich housing area directly east of the base. I told her the story of what I had seen. She turned white as a ghost and told me that she and here husband were up late on that same night talking while sitting at the kitchen table when all of the lights in the house started flickering and browning out. Her husband went out front to see if the neighborhood lights were doing the same thing. They were. He then looked west towards the base, to which he could see the entire base runway. He said he saw the base light up and a could hear a loud speaker sounding some kind of alert. That's all he witnessed and the lights stopped flickering and he went back in a told his wife about it. After I heard this story I was totally covinced that what Jimmy and had seen trully was a UFO. I can still see it in my mind very vividly.

My family and I were driving from Cass Lake to Bemidji to go shopping. Im a very intuitive person and i glanced over my little brothers shoulder through the left side window in the back seat to see the sun go down. I spotted it easily a long silver white shape just sitting on the horizon. The sun was going down so it hit the object just right. I was on the right side of the car in the back seat and my two little brothers were on my left, one in the middle one by the left window. We were driving so it was hard to get a good view as trees were getting in the way. I told my dad and he said sure man probably just a jet or exaust. I told my little brother to look out and he did and he said he couldnt see anything then he said hold on i see it! I said well tell me what it looks like. He said its very long and its just sitting there and it looks whitish silver from the sun hitting it. We finnaly get into Bemidji and my brother goes theres three of them! I still couldnt get a good look cuz i was on the other side of the seat but i could see one of em. My dad and his wife look out and now were going very slow. Hes a priest and he said holy shit thats no jet. He goes look honey to my step mom and shes like wow. They must have been about 20 miles away i couldn't tell but there wasnt a cloud in the sky and my dad goes that ones starting to move. They moved slowly, my dad was like hmm dont look at them we dont know if their friend or foe. I think the government has a deal with a civilization and the aliens can come and take people and do what they want in exchange for technology. Thats my theory, but get this about 2 months earlyer i was driving from my College to WalMart and i saw a cigar UFO it was huge and orange and i saw at about the same time. Something about the sun at dusk might make them visible.

They will fly arround faraway in the sky during the day time. Sometimes over fifty flying objects together. In the evening by the time sunset those flying objects will spred over the sky and stay on one place with beautiful colors on. The black arround the object will light up with colors. I was fourteen years old at the time. I was in bed in my room when I was awoken by some ultra low frequency humm. I could feel the frequency at the center of my bones. I didn't want to but I got out of bed and stood up. I began to walk, and when I passed a window I remember noticing a blue laser-like beam that spread over me. I remember walking all the way down stairs through several rooms in the house to get to the front door, passing through the kitchen. When I opened the front door and went outside, I knew to look up and behind me. When I did, I was filled with fear. There was a giant pyramidial craft floating above my house. It was about 50x50x50 feet. I was frozen in place and focused on the spacecraft. I noticed an opening forming in the side of the craft. Then, an alien (orion grey) with large black eyes peered out from the opening. It was just as immediately that I made eye contact with the being that I blacked out. I don't remember anything else. I awoke in my bed the next day with an electrical burn on the underside of my wrist. I also found the sheet from my bed in the kitchen downstairs. It was when I found my sheet downstairs that I realized that the experience that I recalled as a dream was actually reality. I was instantly terrified, yet very curious to know. I have been a major believer ever since.

I want to know if anyone else has ever seen a pyramidial craft. I have video footage shot in Russia from the 1940's of a flying pyramid. It was locked in Kremlin until the fall of the Iron Curtain. I know that this type of ufo is extremely rare. I would like to know more about it if anyone has any information about this type of craft or maybe even the electical burn on my wrist.
