Full Description & Details

It was about 4:00 in the afternoon and summer time. The UFO was in an expanse of blue sky. It seemed to be very high - it looked tiny. It was impossible to see any inner detail butIt looked unifromly bright white and it now reminds me of the US space shuttle, except with an enormous tail - maybe twice the size of a shuttle's - and no discernible wings. It seemed stationary while we watched it.

At the time I thought it was simply a high flying aircraft, perhaps a jet fighter, catching the sunlight in such a way as to give this appearance, and I laughed when the others called it a UFO. I left the others watching it. However, the more I thought about it afterwards the more difficult I found it to see how it could have been a winged aircraft -for example the tail was too big and its shapemeant that it could not (in my opinion) have been a mistakenly identified delta wing.
