small town near beach. Closest military base would be Patrick airforce station about 35 miles south of my location

Around 10:30 p.m. my wife and I saw what apeared to be a hot air ballon on fire. Insted of falling out of the sky it travelled south at a rate of speed a ballon could not match. It countinued south for a fabout a minute and a half the looked like it was going down. My freind in brevard county saw it also. He lives 48 miles south of me
