Summary:

30-40 min. Object hovered and moved around abit. I guess it to have been a good 10 miles from where we were observing, between Bass Island (3mi) and Pillar Point (20+/- mi). observations by 7 people where with binoculars. Some photos. Only one good one where there is definately space between lake surface and bottom of vehicle. I'm sure we each saw something similiar. I was rationalizing away with a Harrier jet..but center of fuselage waswrong. Check pics. I could only go to "fix" in Windows Photo Gallery and "cropped" and resized to what you vaguely see. Now I know why there are never really good close pictures. We're too far away or have only a camera phone!

Description of Area / Surroundings very rural. lake ontario after the summer season. Some one on Pillar Point should have seen something. We could get a second bearing from there. Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object? checking on military craft used to search St Lawrence River for drugs and illegal aliens(from China & Mexico).
