Appearance / Description of Object(s)

The sighting was spherical on the top, smooth on the bottom, but no object was actually observed...only bright lights! It was red, pink and yellow. In front of this light it looked like a 'chariot' was whisping down across the dark sky and behind this 'chariot' were figures that my father described that looked like an army of giants. The figures and the chariots were bright white with shades of yellow.

Looking in the night sky, there was darkness all around the lights above it, below and on the sides were all dark. The lights filled up a majority of the night skyline.

Full Description & Details

After hearing noises outside, my parents went outside to see what the commotion was about. After seeing bright red pink and yellow lights fill the night sky my mother ran back in the house and hid all of us kids under the bed for fear that Armageddon had come. My father, however stayed outside along with all of the other people in the neighbor to see the site! I have described the appearance below. The next day or a few days later the media had dismissed it as northern lights. My father along with all of the other eye witnesses did not believe that explanation.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No, even though that is what the media had explained it away.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I personally never believed in UFO's. However after listening to this story from my own family, I think there might be something out there.
