UFO Sighting Report

Summary:
I made a report 12/21/2004 10:17:04 PM.The time 9 P.M.?,but it was dark.there were 6 witnesses and we still talk about it not to each other,but to other friends.The thing made no sound or a low rumble.We used to watch the skies a lot .Some nights we would see from 4to 20 lighted objects with three dots ...in perfect line following each other emitting at least 6slithering white discs 3 from each side all summer long this was 1968 or 1969.Are we in a ufo hot spot.Please correct my errors and add this new info please.

Appearance / Description of Object(s)long sort of cigar shaped.and three linear dots several at a time emmitting white discs from boh sides Size of Object(s)40 or 50 ft cigar shaped object.three dot objects were way high maybe 25,000-30,000 feet Distance to Object(s) & Altitudecigar shaped object maybe 60 feet,three dot objects25to35,000feet not sure. Description of Area / SurroundingsDowntown Greenville,Ms.at the foot of the levee that holds Lake Ferguson.It used to be part of the Mississippi,River before 1927.We did have an Air Base here until the late 50's or early 60's.The street is Walnut Street.I play there now at the blues bar,and what is really ironic is they honored me with a stone with my picture and history on the blues walk of fame and it is in the very spot I stood when I saw this strange object.I know that's a lot of info,but interesting. Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?no the cigar shaped object was floating so slow it should have fallen.The three lighted objects were the size of sattelites,but i have never known sattelites to travel in groups of threes and emit white discs and every one of these did. Views on UFOs, before and after sightingWhen I was in the sixth grade I drew a ufo very similar to some of the sixteenth century drawings.I don't know where that came from.My brother started reading a lot of ufo mags in the eighth and ninth grades.We hung out with a famous local artist Leon Koury who told us it is only a matter of time before they reveal themselves.He said he saw one in New Jersey that covered most of the sky ,but some people in his studio saw it and some did not.I cannot see how anyone can believe that we are the only intelligent life in a universe with millions or billions of galaxies.As human beings we are newborns not even weened off of our on arrogance.
