Full Description & Details

Whilst serving in the British armed forces I was based in Western Germany in the late 1980`s. I remember returnig one evening from the NAAFI Store to my Barrack. When as I walked through the narrow gap between two Hangers I noticed a small red light in the night sky directly above the hanger to the left of me. I at first thought it was an anti collision marker atached to a radio mast. But then remembered there were no radio masts attached to any of the hangers.

I clearly remember standing on the foot path looking up at this small red light for several minutes trying to work out what it was. It remained perfectly staionary and because it didn´t appear to flicker I thought it must be very close 20 or 30 feet away. I remember that the night sky was clear because I was trying to see if it was attached to anything by looking for a silowette against the stars.

Then it moved! I can still remember how shocked and frightened I became. It appeared to turn slowly in a arch untill it was directly above me. I still couldn´t see anything but a small red light but had the distint impression after the arch it had performed in the sky that it was attached to something bigger, solid and circular.

Now the memory becomes strange. I can only remember a feeling of utter terror and looking at the foot path which was lit up before me. The next memory is walking down the foot path towards my barrack in the early morning light. I still remember to this day a terrible feeling of being abandoned and wanting to stay with someone somewhere.

The memories of the small red light in the sky are so vivd even after all these years. Maybe it sounds strange but ever since then I´m always looking out for it!

If I was abducted it wasn´t planned, I was just too curious I suppose. The strange thing is I never wanted to talk to anyone about it at the time, it was somehow too personal!
