I woke up at 5:50AM like I do every morning from my alarm clock to wake my daughter to get ready for school. After I get her into the shower, I always go out onto my balcony to have a cigarette and while looking into the sky near some condo buildings looking south I saw a huge, reddish fireball that did not move and just stayed in the same place for a minute or two. As I watched this thing it all of a sudden turned into a white, tiny dot. The white dot moved very slowly without making a sound to the right until I could not longer see it. Never seen anything like that before, although I did see a ufo in January 1999, it was so huge, did not make a sound. Surprised I never seen anything on the news about either sighting.
