Ali Baba: Who the heck are you talking to? Everyone I've seen on here has contributed something to the UFO discussion, whereas you are making a jerk of yourself. Maybe you're the one who should get a life, and quit making to UFO researchers look bad. I'm an honest person looking for the truth about UFOs, therefore I'm considering everything. Don't bristle up just because someone says something that might 'offend' you. If it does, find a hole and crawl in it. You'll be happier, and we'll be happier.

I think they are real and anomalous. As Jung said, something is seen and in some cases recorded (e.g., throws back a radar echo). Condon exhibits a surprisingly large number of unexplaineds, and there is much evidence from other sources including Sturrock. Since in so many cases (per Vallee) strong paranormality exists, I can't go on record as to their identity, i.e,, for me they are truly unidentified phenomena, whereas once you say they're flying saucers, you've identified them (as extraterrestrial spacecraft).

I agree with you, Michael. Although most of the 'skeptics' claim to be so open-minded, they are the most closed-minded people you'll ever meet. Most will form an 'opinion' even though they have nothing to back up their claim, and haven't looked into the subject. I'm all for skeptics, however. The REAL ones. Not the ones that come up with an absurd idea and then accept it as fact. I'm all for the skeptics that throw a theory out there and try to prove it or disprove it. I guess you could say I'm a skeptic myself. It's just that, AFTER I've looked at the evidence, I've found that there is NO WAY the UFOs could be ball lightning, atmospheric conditions, hallucinations, swamp gas, or whatever else that they could come up with.
The only thing that, in my opinion, UFOs could be are: top secret government testing (although faulty in a lot of places---why would they fly them over huge cities?), OR Extraterrestrials. Maybe both.
(This part of my comment---for Christians only, perhaps? This deals with the UFO phenomenon in respect to the Scriptures) However, being a Christian, I must also consider the fact that they could be supernatural beings. Angels, perhaps, as described in Ezekiel. (The circular disks as described by Ezekiel were, in the Hebrew, 'highly polished bronze.') I do not think, on the other hand, that they are the fallen angels, due to the fact that the fallen angels and Satan are bound physically by Michael, the archangel in heaven, or with God, at this time. (Most other Christians would eat me alive for saying that Satan and his cronies are heaven now, but read it in Revelation, guys. But that's not the point.) I also understand that even the 'good' angels must not leave their place of habitation physically (although I need to do a study on it). Then the triangular UFOs come into play, which are not described anywhere in the Bible. This then leaves me where I started. Maybe they are not supernatural beings. Maybe they are, indeed, extraterrestrials. (Other Christians might be cringing at that statement, as well). But the Bible is about one man and his family. It's about Adam and his family, through which Christ would come. Who's to say that God didn't create a whole other race of people on another planet. After all, it's such a huge universe. You can read my article on this at www.freewebs.com/youngufologist2008.
Sorry, I kind of got on a roll there, lol. That little rant was the conclusion that I've come to on the sunject of UFOs.

No problem Morgan. I understand how mad you get with all the sceptics and armchair experts, because I feel exactly the way you do. And I have a very good reason for feeling that way, because I came face to face with the UFO phenomenon in August 2001. And let me assure you, what I and other people saw that night WAS NOT ball lightning, WAS NOT an aircraft, and WAS MOST DEFINITELY NOT DELUSION. It was very, very real. We had a wave of sightings that night, of the same objects, right accross the Midlands, and guess how much coverage it got? Zilch. Zero. Nada. It passed right through the airspace controlled by Birmingham International Airport, so if the objects were solid, and unless they had some kind of stealth ability, they should have been picked up by the approach radar. And these events got no coverage. Sod all. Not a sausage. The only place any kind of report surfaced was in the now defunct UFO Magazine. One of those reports was mine. And of course, that was a magazine for crackpots, wasn't it? See, the trouble with sceptics, is that they operate on the "It Can't be; therefore it isn't" principle of science. Because such a thing is simply not possible, there is no point in looking at any data. their minds are made up, and no amount of evidence that you or I provide will ever alter their opinions, because UFO's do not exist, so therefeore any evidence we do submit is false. I have been a photographer for over twenty years, and I was not carrying a camera that night. Now the sceptics can say what they like, but that's how it is. There is not a day that goes by where I don't kick myself for not getting a photograph of what I saw. But even if I had have gotten a picture, some comedian would have come up with some half assed explaination, which however improbable, would have been taken up by the general populace. Sceptics are a waste of your valuable time my friend. I wish the whole lot of them would simply just die.

Woops! My bad, I misunderstood him, Michael. Please don't freak and start cussing, which gets you nowhere. I apologize, Mr. Walker. You are correct. Let me direct my previous comment to those actual 'skeptics'.

ufos like the evidence is fuzzy out of focus hyped, wrapped in seperstitions, covered up, denied, sweped under the rug like the strange family uncle. We need to stop being in denial, and scientifically jump in the fray of showing and proving that ufos are craft intelligently built. With the potential to enhance our civilization light years into the future.
