I would have to think that ufos are sure to be found in our midst, the thought that we are the only planet in the intire universe that can support life as we know it isn't good thinking. The vast universe is mind boggling when you think of how far the nearest star is to us. It's light years away, to have a craft to negotiate the hundreds of thousends of light years to travel to any point in space is uncomprehensible to most of the human race. I've always had an interest in this subject since i was a kid growing up in michigan, when my father and I watched the TV about sputnic. Since then I've had more than one telescope to watch the heavens, and have scene some most spectacular views of the planets and other parts of our solar system. Please, send me any information you can on this subject. thank you.

I am currently writing an essay about the UFO phenomenon for my english class. The sources provided by the teacher were "UFO Abductions: An introduction" by John Mack, which led me to this site, and "Abductions and Abductionists" by Curtis Peebles. Peebles work is a collection of evidence, no more circumstancial that the evidence he refutes, that at least addmits that "The function of mythology is to allow society to relate to the larger world." But this is said with an air of scorn that portrays "Abductionists" and abductees as irrational and often mentally disturbed individuals who have an over-indulged appetite for science fiction. But I believe there is a difference between a realistic point of view and the hard nosed sceptical point of view that is so often touted as "realistic". Personally, I have come to believe that one, through personal, social, and intellectual experiences, creates an individaul concept of reality. This fence-posted point of view allows me a great deal fo freedom to hold many perspectives, that often contradict one-another, as real. This also allows me to accept and respect the diverse and numerous "individual realities" that I encounter in life. If these people were or were not actually abducted by UFOs is not as important to me as the fact that they truly belive they were abducted, for the effects of these acounts have a very real impact on their lives. Therefore, in my skewed opinion, these acounts are real.

There is no question that they are real. The question arises, why are they here and why is it such a big secret, and what are WE gonna do about it? It is going to take an unfathomable approach and disection of our society to truly understand the extent that we are controlled in every fashion by our government who is by the way, the one's harboring these great secrets! Just in case you didnt know:) I go on line and read every document, listen to radio talk shows on the issues and even watched as Dan Rather attempted to clear up the confusion for us...but, as suspected, he just left me with more confusion. But, I am more determined now than ever to get to the bottom of this. I am very intrigued by the eye-witness accounts of alien beings, especially right here in my city! Holy *&*$^^!! You saw WHAT?? I have read hundreds of accounts by people all over the world and am astonished at the similarities. There is something going on and nothing being done.
Of course anyone who speaks of "little grey men" and "flying saucers" must be looney, right? I talk about it sparingly--my family know's Im nuts about it, but anyone else I am very cautious. I see chem-trails, and say to my friends, do you know what those are and what is found within those vapors. I tell them and they laugh, oooo Its a big conspiracy, haha....get back to work!! This has been made into a big joke at our expense. I am not really ready to pay that tab!

i think ufo's are real...it's egotisticle to think we are alone....it's funny that the usa spends more money smearing/deflecting and protecting info on this subject than our whole military's budget in canada...a friend of mine here in toronto is a well known ufo researcher and was lucky enough to interview travis walton,,,for anyone who would listen,he reported that during his abduction not only were there *greys* on board the ship but three blue uniformed american officers....this isn't the first time i've heard this type of story.....i find it odd that most nations are pretty much honest when it comes to ufo's but for some strange reason the usa guards it as a national secret......and is it true that bill clinton was warned not to dig too far into the ufo world...can you say illuminatti!!!!!

I belive that UFO's are real and that aliens do exist and that we should always belive that ther is other life out ther and that they travel by what is known as a worm hole through galaxes.
and that the USA should send something to mars because i belive that ther are diffrent shapes and angles on mars which are giant dunes and that it might be of some sort of traces that ther was life on mars and it just might be that it will help us figure out more about space travel

i feel UFO's are real. We have to believe that there are other Life Creatures in this Universe, which may have visited earth. Most of the UFO's that have been reported by people have not been completely written OFF/Eliminated by US Agencies. If their reply is true about the Non Existance of UFO, Why dont they come forward with the hidden secrets of AREA 51.
If AREA 51 is just another simple Airforce base, why should it be Isolated from the Public. We as human beings have one life to live with, and there is no need to keep the secrets away from us, coz, we are not going to live for a 1000 years..

Are other forms of life and phenomena real? If there are other forms of life that we acknowledge as different species on our own planet, but different from us, then UFO's also have validity. We must remember that UFO reality exist on a different plane than our understanding of reality. I believe that UFO's can exist in our time and space without our knowledge. For instance, imagine standing in your front yard on a sunny summer day, you look up to a blue sky. What your eyes and mind tell you, is that you are looking at a blue sky, but just possibly you may be looking at a massive UFO hovering 50 feet above your head, it could be cloaked and emit no sound, but be very real. Its that plane of existence that UFO's may travel in and move about the earth undetected, until they choose to show there forms. ET's understand the human thought process better than any psychologist... sorry Dr. Phil... ha ha ha. Aliens will show themselves to us and because its so fantastical to the human mind, most of us dismiss it as hallucination, or a mental disorder, thus allowing the very phenomena to move among us undetected. So think twice when you look at a starlit sky or a blue sky. You could be looking at a UFO and not even know it. They are real and have been here since the dawn of time. They are the original explorers.
