Certainly, not being a physicist or scientist of any discipline, I have no way of knowing.
Still, I KNOW that what I saw was very unusual- the criteria being of this world did not conform to the look and behavior of that which I saw.
Without question there should be continued investigation of UFO sightings. Many of the anecdotal stories would, say-60 years ago, seem to be coming from very strange, uneducated, uninformed people. Long ago, lasers were the stuff of science fiction.....

Yes, they are real. I have no idea where they are from or why they keep visiting. Although many people fear these beings, whoever they are, my encounter was a very nice one, and I possibly owe my life to the benevelont little being. I do not want to be an abductee, though. That would probably scare the hell out of me.
I have had several sightings starting with the first one when I was about eight years old. Most that I have had have been while I was flying in my own plane. Charlotte Approach Control and the Tower at the same airport always informed me of "unidentified" targets on several occasions. I had "fun" with one of these radar intercepts. Maybe I was foolish to do so, but hey, I've got a strange sense of humor. It would take several pages to list all of my encounters. Maybe ten or more. One is particularly interesting, since it happened right over top of the airport at Charlotte, N.C. , and I had a co-pilot with me. Shut down the radios and burned both of our eyes. Tower did some gymnastics to get us down to the runway, where upon landing, the radios worked again. The following day, when we asked for the tape of the encounter, the tower people told us that they "lost" that part of the tape. Approach Control, Departure Control and the Tower keeps tapes on all conversations with pilots 24/7. I hold a Commercial Pilot License and know that they do. Just screw up, and the FAA will have a copy of the tape with your voice on it! The tape wasn't "lost", it was sent somewhere.

My name is Fernando, and one night at Calaveras Lake in San Antonio Tx. around the year 1990(give or take a year), my father and I saw a group of lights hovering over the lake. The lights we saw were arranged in a very obtuse v-shape, kind of like an airliner or other huge plane might look from in front. There were about seven or eight lights. This slight v-shaped object moved slowly east to west for several minutes until it kept going east to the point it was no longer visible. I was about 12 years old at the time and I remember the campers nearest us walked to our campsite and stared in amazement with my father and I. I've always wanted to hear from someone else that was on the lake that night, just to confirm what I know I saw. I'm sure others on the lake that night have posted stories like I'm doing now. Since that night, my father and I have had no choice but to believe in UFO's. Throughout the years I would tell my story to friends and teachers and they would laugh and do how I probably would do had I not saw the UFO. Then in 1997, I got the confirmation I needed. " Lights over Pheonix" was the headline on the ten O'clock news. I couldn't believe it. The exact object I saw was caught on tape over Pheonix, and not by some lone nut. Thousands of people saw the lights as it was broadcast over news stations around the country.

I would truly like to believe they are craft from an extraterrestrial civilization, but I'm just not convinced. I do believe there needs to be more research into it, but I refuse to jump to a conclusion. Just because there are some sightings that defy explanation, does not necessarily mean they are extraterrestrial spaceships. I am sure there are many natural phenomena that we do not understand yet that could, and maybe will, eventually explain some sighting we currenly don't understand. I will continue watching and hoping, but I'm not holding my breath for proof positive!

Peter Jennings reported that Illinois police saw this object. I'd like to know what the air traffic controllers at Lambert International Airport saw on their screens at that same time. Can they view aircraft from that distance or not. I believe.

I don't know for sure if anyone ever really saw a spaceship from another galaxy. But I am sure that life in one form or another must exist in the known universe

I do believe in UFO's, but only as experimental military and defensive aircraft. Although, It is unusual to see the strange photographs of the old civilizations and the cultures worshiping strange beings from far away places! You never know.
As far as the alien abduction theory, I do not believe anyone has been taken or experimented on by aliens. But, humans are a different story.
You have heard of Subliminal messages, Thought Suggestion, Brainwashing? Throughout several wars, many countries; ie, Japan, Germany, Russia and others all used Brainwashing as a very effective tool.
Imagine the teletale scenario; You see a bright object, a light or you are awakened in your sleep by a noise or image..... Now comes the usual story that you were taken by green or gray, big eyed little beings, with suction cup fingers and eerie surroundings.
You explain through hypnosis that they took you aboard their "Craft" and examined you.
Through any type of thought (mind control), an image of this so called alien can be flashed before you, making you believe that aliens took you away and experimented on you. I seriously believe, in fact that humans are doing the testing and to cover all tracks the brainwasing is done to make one believe they actually saw the little aliens instead.
Humans have been testing animals.... another example is the Cattle Mutilations, and people for years. The alien theory is a cover up. These devious coverups enable "Whomever" to establish a method of experimental needs, perhaps for cloning or creating a new type of race, or for just biological reasons or future survival.
Who Knows? I seriously do not think that UFO's are visiting us. I hope I am proven wrong and they actually are here for the good of mankind. If this never proves true then it is just earthlings doing the deeds.
