Yes, I think the phenomenon is ligitimate.
Unfortunately, historic ridicule, gov't sanctioned misinformation and outright informational secrecy have hampered an all out media blitz to uncover what is hidden from the general public.
But in time the truth or the basic admission that "they" are around will come out. Think about it, behind these craft are intelligent beings with their own social structure and as of yet unresolved motives for their presence.
Let us only hope for peaceful intentions.

yes i believe they are from the early time of man people have been seeing strange things in the sky i think the reason the government doesnt want to admit that they are real stems from the fact that they don't have control of the subject therefore if they did say that they are real the us people would be asking questions that the governemt may not be able to answer such as do they pose a threat? what do they want and son on.

No, "UFOs" are not real. It's a nonissue, the idea is a set of FALSE BELIEFS, a MYTH.

The "UFO" MYTH is nothing but a long-lived COLLECTIVE DELUSION, there aren't any REAL "UFOs" and there never were. There are only inconsequential "UFO" REPORTS.

There is not one shred of veracious evidence for the existence of any extraordinary stimulus as the causative agent for endless, ambiguous "UFO" REPORTS; and the more information a good "UFO" REPORT contains, the much more explicable it is likely to be.

No one can produce a bit of a "UFO," whatever that's supposed to be, and no one can make one true statement about a REAL "UFO." There are no "UFO" FACTS in the world.

After more than fifty years of consideration, mythical "UFOs" have not demonstrated either objective ontological substance or presence, the minimal requirements for any THING said to "EXIST" in the world. If ever REAL "UFOs" appear, then we'll all know it.

Of course they are real! Most of the sightings can be explained but there are still a huge number of cases left which cannot be explained by any other means. And when we take into account the fact that mankind has been seeing these craft for thousands of years, there is simply no other explanation. Todays sightings (the ones that are not our own military craft) are, in fact, mankinds' Creators, the "Elohim" of the Bible. They are watching us and they want to be seen so that we gradually get used to the idea that there is life throughout the universe - and that they are our true Creators.
