What I first saw about 200 feet above our truck was a green football shaped object. When it took off, the stream of green (bright green) followed it. When it stayed dorment in the sky, it was a bit bigger than the size of the tip of a pen. Blinking white, red, green, and blue.

Above the truck, about the size of my hand up in the air.. and when it was dormate, a bit bigger than the tip of a pen.

200 feet above the truck, maybe like 30,000 feet in the air. I'm not good at this.. sorry.

When it was above the truck, we were in a pretty busy street. At the light of a 4 way crossing.

When the green light went up, it speed fast into the sky then stood dorment. It was blinking colors of white, blue, green, and red. My wife kept saying it might be a plane, but I knew what I saw and where it went. And if it were a plane, it wouldn't be just staying still like that as well as not dim if it were flying futher out. It stayed there for a couple of hours, we went inside because it was getting real late (saw this begining at 10) then I'm not sure what happened after that. The strangest thing. I wish we had a telescope..

If it wasn't above the truck, yes, maybe. But it was so I have no explaination about that.

It was a small silver looking ball traveling very slowly east then faded away. Not much to tell.

Could be an airplane just didn't look like one to me. I watch the planes everytime I smoke.

Large as well as somewhat oval shaped. Not very noticeable but clearly seen from up high. Took some time to actually notice it's odd appearance considering how far away it was, as well as the bright city lights and other helicopters and planes around it. Showed an odd variety of colors. Most of the time, before it started to slowly move away and shrink it seemed to be purple, however when looking at it from a microscope it seemed to be a mixture of various reds, blues, and possible shades of white. It might have seemed greenish at points, although I'm not sure. When at the end it began to fade away it appeared as a faint orange.

This is sort of hard to describe. Relative size to a star or celestial object, let's say the moon, would be about 1/4th or 1/5th of the moon in terms of visible size.

It was a highly populated urban environment with a lot of light pollution. The only "special sites" I knew of near the "ufo" I guess were the sky scrapers of New York that tower over the relatively high buildings of the city. Other than that I'm not sure, I mean it's new york, I'm sure there are millions of not really noticeable "special sites". I mean you could describe the military recruiting station in Times Square as "special".

I was looking out the window from a room on the 37th floor of my friends building with her and another friend. I randomly brought up the topic of aliens as i sometimes do and then stopped the conversation(not that that's of any importance, i highly doubt that ET's were reading my thoughts). We then continued to go about our business when we noticed a somewhat large, faint object in the sky. I thought it was probably a helicopter or something but in addition to being slightly larger, it also had no definite shape and was displaying a wide variety of colors. I still didn't think anything of it but the ONE thing that got me, the ultimate skeptic convinced was when I saw a small orange object that was definitely a helicopter or something fly near it. When the human craft came very close to the larger object, the object quite literally vanished. The orange helicopter flew on and then seconds later, with the helicopter on the other side, the object appeared again. It was a small sighting but for me it was simply incredible. We were looking towards the northeast, and were located in the 60's on the upper west side. We looked on for about 35 minutes or so simultaneously joking about our new ufo hysteria, and also genuinely looking at the odd object in the sky that was quite far away, although definitely noticeable. Our sighting started at approximately 9:45 p.m. It was on August 31st, 2010. That vanishing affect is the one thing that still haunts me. I have always been very interested in cosmology and most of all astro-biology. I am fascinated by the prospects of extraterrestrial intelligence in the cosmos. I don't think we can possibly even begin to expect anything since creatures from other worlds will be different from anything we have ever seen on earth and quite possibly too alien for us to understand or communicate properly with. I do believe that intelligent life is rare, however that being said "rare" on a cosmic scale still means hundreds if not thousands of different civilizations. It may be nothing but i think it's important to regard some ufo sightings with respect since they can sometimes come from people like me. 99% of the time I do not believe in any of this ufo, crop circle, ancient alien stuff. I still don't, but this one sighting was indescribable and very odd. I think it's important to try to scientifically understand the UFO phenomenon. Maybe these aren't ET's but then we should work on discovering what they are. Even if 95% of the time they can be explained, what about the countless other reports that are genuine, and truly cannot be. Many governments around the world, including the U.S., have now released UFO files in which they publicly list reports by their own gov.'t/military personnel of objects they can't identify or understand.......that say's a lot doesn't it?

It wasnt too far from the ground and it was just still and it was spinning, I couldnt believe it, the lights was spinning and it was just there, still.

it was about 2:30am. I was sitting down across the road from the army base.

I looked up at the sky. As soon as I looked up a ship dropped down from space into the upper atmosphere. It looked like a space shuttle. It had three glowing lights in a triangle formation at the aft of the ship.

It then turned into a white saucer shape and sped off to the north.

Working on third shift, Sitting out in the car. A neon green Object got my attention one night on Oct, 2006. It floated up from across the street from a industrial area across from O'hare airport. It started out as an orb then morphed into a saucer shape, then floated down again out of site. It did it again a minute later. On Nov.7, 2006 A saucer was seen above gate 17, at O'hare airport.

Not sure about man made. It was in the industrial area. It was not lasers!

I think it has something to do with the O'hare sighting because it was too close to the date. It could have been a practice flight before the actual sighting.

The Millers lived on a country road in Fairfield County Ohio near Lancaster. Hilly and wooded.

Lottie Millier wife of Fairfiled County deputy sheriff Russell Miller and teenage daughter Darlene saw three 30 foot disc fly over head outside their country home. The objects hoovered with a low hum and then sped off and came back a few moments later. Lottie called her husband and the Sheriffs office send a squad car but the objects were gone before anyone else could spot them.

I am a 58 year old retired professional who has known about this incident back in the mid- 50's when I was 6 or 7 years old. My dad retired as a captain with the Ohio State Highway Patrol and I know of one other incident with UFO's that was investigated in his district. Dad was not excitable and had a very level head, but could not explain this sighting or the other sighting he told me about. Our family has discussed this incident from time to time over the years and we know the facts of this sighting are straight forward and not embellished in any way.

This was an incident I knew of when I was a child. No body at that time knew of or expected to see UFO's. My dad was a good friend of the Millers and was a State Highway Patrolman at the time of the sightings. Everyone involved were good, honest, dependable and sensible people.
