Appearance / Description of Object(s)

It appeared as a series of intense cylindrical, round, and arched lights, very bright, reddish-pink, green and white, flashing in synchronized patterns. The object itself did not dart around, but rather glided from north to south, east to west, up and down, apparently randomly. Some remarked that it could have been a kite with very sophisticated lights attached to it, but it was far too high in the sky, and there was not enough wind to sustain a kite this long.

Relative size: about 1/4 inch. Actual size is hard to determine, since it was quite high in the sky. Perhaps 20-30 feet wide, 15 feet high.

Approximately 1/2 mile away, and about 1,000 feet high.

Description of Area / Surroundings

Just north and east of downtown Milwaukee; specifically, the Yankee Hill district. There is an open area called the Park East Freeway area (an abandoned freeway project) that it may have been over.

UFO was sighted over downtown Milwaukee by a large group of bystanders who were on the corner of Juneau Ave and Marshall St at about 10:30 pm on Saturday, August 28, 2010. It appeared in the sky, just west and north of us. It appeared as a series of intense cylindrical, round, and arched lights, very bright, reddish-pink, green and white, flashing in synchronized patterns. The object itself did not dart around, but rather glided from north to south, east to west, up and down, apparently randomly. Some remarked that it could have been a kite with very sophisticated lights attached to it, but it was far too high in the sky, and there was not enough wind to sustain a kite this long. I recorded this video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwzYQTdhYzs), and continued to watch the UFO for 20 minutes. It was still visible in the sky when I left the scene.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

Possibly a kite with elaborate lighting, but it was too high and not enough wind. Possibly a hot-air balloon, but it did not move like one, and why the intense flashing light patterns?

I think that UFOs are real, but not necessarily from "outer space". Possibly some testing done by the Air Force? Who knows.

What caught my eye was that it consisted of just white light, no flashing lights, no colour. I could definitely see a round orb in the middle with a straight line of light cutting horizontally through the middle of the orb. The orb's diameter would be about 1/3 of the length of the line cutting through it. The only reason I've decided to report this on your website is that I'm hoping someone else in the Stoughton, Saskatchewan area also saw this object at 9:30 pm last night (August 27th, 2010). last night and reports it.

2 1/2 to 3 inches across. I wouldn't even try to estimate it's real size, as I have no idea how far away it was in the sky. All I could say it that it was much closer when I first saw it and as it accelerated it quickly reduced it's size to a pinpoint in the sky, then it was gone.

Rural area, flat, with a small ridge to the north of the highway. There are gas plants / compressor stations and drilling rigs in the area.

The acceleration of the object was similar to what you would see on movie star trek when the vessel on the show goes to warp speed. A gradual / but quick acceleration until it just disappears.

Also, I found it weird that when I blurted to myself under my breathe, "what the hell is that, it can't be an airplane because I can't see any flashing lights", it was almost like something in the object heard me

and this is when it took off.

Approximately five minutes later, immediately after I murmured to myself, "it had to be a UFO because I didn't see any red light flash" a quick light flashed red off to my left, almost like someone had hit the brakes. I stopped to see if it would do it again, but it didn't. I then pondered whether it was a reflection of my instrument panel in the car, but everything was reflecting off the front 1/3 of the driver's window. I also

noticed several drilling rigs in the area with flashing red lights at the top of their derrecks, but I quickly ruled

them out as the red light I saw flash, was at a much steeper incline then the lights on the top of the drilling rigs. I also wondered if it could have been the reflection of another vehicles taillights, but their were no other

vehicles in the area at the time this happened.

It seemed to be similar to how a harrier jet would hover and move slowly across the sky, then shoot off in mid air.

I have seen some shows on t.v. but the one thing I still remember seeing when I was a teenager were two lights that moved acrossed the sky over Lake Erie. My mother and I were sitting outside next to the bonfire talking when I spotted two lights, parallel to each other. I quickly pointed them out to my mother. We both observed these lights as they moved completely across the night sky in the blink of an eye, at all times remaining parallel to each other, coming to an immediate / abrupt stop. Then, they moved together again at about a 60 degree angle to another point in the sky. Also in the blink of an eye and always remaining parallel to each other and coming to another immediate / abrupt stop. The third time the moved, one light went in one direction and the second went in another and they were gone. This all happened within about 15 seconds. as the first 10 seconds of movement, only I had noticed these two lights as they seemed to be almost playing / dancing around the sky with each other. That's what caught my eye and prompted me to point them out to my mother.

it looked like a blimp, but then i thought it was god coming to us, it was very big and the lights were about the size of a house each. thats when i realize that i never saw an object like this before.

"Vaguely triangular", star-lighted. The light seem to come from all the "object" except the rear. However the event whas very short time-framed and instinctively i focused on the "trail", that was red and very symmetrical, starting at the rear of the object and going for about 3-4 times the size of the "object" itself. The trail appear "self-lighted", like ionized, and it's contrast with the black night was very high, albeit it's brightness was not.

The triangular "thing" was as big as a a tree branch that was in my eye field at the same time and that i later measured as 25cm wide, 5m from me.

Tolfa is a town of some 5000ab, however it has been spotted also in Allumiere, 4km from Tolfa, that have some 4000ab. Near Allumiuere there is an unused nato radar complex. The towns are surrounded by farms.

At 00.05 ca in the zone of Tolfa and Allumiere (north of Rome) a "triangular" brigth light with a "very remarkable" red "trail" crossed the sky from NW to SE at a very high speed. The event lasted roughly a second. No noise eared.

I've spotted it while i was in Tolfa, but many others have reported it in Allumiere, where a concert was taking place.

Luckly, i was looking at the sky in that very moment, and at the beginning i thinked it was a plane. However the red "trail" instantly catch my attention and so i barely looked at the "triangular" thing. In fact i can't attest that it was triangular at all.

The red "trail" was the thing that "impressed me most". It was not only singular, it was "alien" to my mind. It's "reddish" trail was a sort of "halo", without a clear source of lighting. However it was very regular and it seemed to begin in the rear of the "triangular" thing (that was not lighted as far as i've been able to see) to some 3-4 times the size of it, gradually fading out, but even this "fading out" seemed to me very strange and innatural.

I suddently feel "shocked".

While the event have happened in a very short timeframe, i'm pretty sure it wasn't some of the common excuse that is used for UFOs spotted by others. I've been using that excuses myself up until actually seeing it with my eyes.

Daylight sighting (early evening) brilliant sphere high up in the sky in the east, moving some times slow and some times very fats in a zig-zag or 90° movement. A single military fighter plane came towards it and the object went away at high speed to the east. Duration of the event about 5 minutes. My wife and I watched from our living room window, unfortunatly we didnt have a camera to hand but we were both amazed...

object was large, solid, and black. it appeared to have a metallic, or glass dome on top, as it reflected the light. this object was so black it appeared to be absorbing any light. there was also a distortion field surrounding object.

On a smoke break at work I noticed a large black, solid, object. The object moved east to west and moved to slowly to be a bird, or other aircraft. I watched object stop and hover for 5-10 minutes. I did not see object depart as I had to return to work.

no I thought it a balloon at first, but the object moved intelligently, and hovered for most of the duration of the sighting.
