What is this thing anyways... During my visit at a friend in Cottam

Ontario I saw this havoring light in the sky. It desended on the ground

then up in the sky and disappeared and reappeared again. The thing

stayed for more than 45 minutes enough to go in the house to grab a

video camera to start taping. I did a small research about it and I

found out that Cindy PDX who lives in Oregan Portland also saw the

same thing back in 1992 and recently this March

smilar to mine except that for me I went in and zoomed in much closer

to it. Pictures of this thing are so different from Cindy and mine

shows details of crators, and for some reason someone could say it had

faces. As you know there is no millitary activites in Cottam Ontario.

Neither did i have any interests in UFOs until i and four other eye

witnesses saw this thing. I did the best to try filming it and it made

the 6 oclock news on the A channel in Windsor.

A friend of mine helped me with the video conversion now i have it on

DVD. Whatever this thing was, I still need to know what it is. I

emailed Nasa and they still havent got back to me. Sincerely yours

No my object is so unique not even a moon can look like this...I did a research on it Cindy back in 1992 saw something simlar to this....and my footage made headlines on the 6 oclock news on the A channel...

To be honest and without sounding like an idiot the were round with lights and looked like a typical flying saucer that you would see in a magazine or similar.

I honestly couldn't guess on this when you look into the sky things look a lot smaller it is so hard to say.It was just like looking at a plane

Has I dont live local to this area I was not to familiar toi the surroundings However the houses were a council estate which bordered on to a large greenery with woodlands area I think with is commonly known as Daisy Nook which falls between Ashton and Droyslesden areas. I have visited the area a couple of years ago and it has changed a lot.

I am almost certain that it was in june 1978 however it could have been 1979 but it was definately the summer time. I worked for an insurance company at the time and was working on the Ashton Moss estate Ashton Manchester. It was about 8.30 at night and myself and a work collegue were just finnishing work , as we came to get into my car Muriel the lady I was working with was gazing into the sky, I wound my window down to see what she was looking at she looked amazed and told me to get out of the car to see. What we first saw was a large round bright light (not too high in the sky) and out off this light came to identical round type flying crafts. One came to the left of us and one to the right and at exactly the same time the one on the left and the bright light both dissappeared, leaving the one on the right flying over us. I'm afraid we both panicked and got back in the car and drove quickly to Muriels house which was approx half a mile away. When we got there we both looked back into the sky but the craft had dissapered. The following night there was an item in The Manchester Evening News claiming of many sightings of these UFO's. Over the years I have often wondered about what we saw that night and have on occassions seen strange things in the sky but never anything has real as this,

Far too low down for any planets etc. and it certainly was not any of these man made objects.

I knew absolutely nothing about UFO;s I;d never ever thought about them.until I saw what I saw and no matter what no one can tell me I didn;t see them. They were so clear in the sky that evening.

It is good to be able to write down all aboiut this I should have reported it to someone but you feel folk are going to laugh at you. However people must.ve reportewd it that night for it to be in the paper the following night.

The objects were a shiny whitish silver colour and were shaped like cigars, except that they wern't really long and scinny like other "cigar shaped" ufo sightings sometimes are. The shape of a sausage might discribe them better. There were about six or seven of them and they flew in an EXACT line, probably all at the same height. They were very high up so we couldn't see any little details, but we saw that they didn't have any wings, and seemed to be just one piece.

From our view the objects would have been about 1 centimetres long and about half a centimetre wide. The actual size I'd say would be about the size of a regular airplane

VERY high. They just so high that they just disappeared. I have no idea how high they were.

It was a rural area about 15 minutes out of a small town. Very wild and at the base of a mountain. There are a few small lakes close by to the area and one large lake. There are no special sites such as military bases and power plants. Many other people have seen ufos in this area as well.

It was a very sunny clear day, and I was with my mother visiting an old friend of ours. We were standing outside of their work shop when I looked up and saw six or seven white, cigar shaped objects moving across the sky without a sound. They were all in a perfect line formation and resembled beads on a string. Right away I knew that it wasn't airplanes or something that people usually see. I pointed it out to my mother and her friend and none of us could come up with an explination. They moved silently and quickly higher and higher into the sky untill they totally disappeared from our view. It was very strange because we had a perfect view of them (without clouds and the mountain wasn't in the way), and when they reached a certain point of altitude they just disappeared without a trace. They did it one by one, all at the same point in the sky.

Our friend suggested that it could be hand gliders, but I don't think so because they were so high. I don't think they were planes either, because there were so many of them and also because they just disappeared.

I am in grade 10. The only "work" experiance I've had is busking on the street with my fiddle. I live around the same area where the ufos were spotted.

At 6.30 pm i sasw a red ufo in the sky at Manly Wharf it moved slowly in the sky.Sometime,it

can change color from red to blue or green or white.i thought it not plane,because it can stop in sky.A lot of people saw that.

Disc shaped UFO, white in color, with a dome at the top side, very slightly curved bottom, semi-transparent with very faint white glow, sharp edges and very well-defined outlines.

When I stretch my hands apart it is 1 or 2 inches across. I think that its actual size was 7 meters wide and 2 meters tall.

It happened exactly on New Year's Day. We were in a block in the outer parts of the city. Our family was having family reunion for this holiday in my grandparents' apartament (which was on the last floor of the flat - the fifth). We were having fun, taking photos of ourselves, watching the New Year's TV program... At 11:55 o'clock in the night, we were watching the president's speech. At exactly 12:00 my brother and I went on the balcony to watch the fireworks and light rays. Suddenly, out of the nothing, a disc shaped UFO popped out from nowhere !!! Like it turned its invisibility mode off. The interesting thing was that the saucer was semi-transparent !!! We could see the dark sky behind it. The edges were very clearly distinguished and very sharp. The top of the saucer had a dome. The saucer appeard over a very tall poplar. After its appearing it started moving slowly to the left of our view, maybe 30 km/h. After floating in straight line for about 5 seconds, it was obscured by the flat in front of the one we were in and didn't saw it appearing on the other side . We both were waiting about five minutes for the UFO to appear again but it didn't. When we told our parents what happened, they didn't seem to believe us.

No. It couldn't have been cloud because the sky was very clear and on the other hand the object had very well-defined edges.
