I SAW LIGHTS IN MY BACK YARD IT HAD 3 LIGHTS BUT THATS ALL I SAW,YOU COULDN'T SEE THROUGH IT.I KNOW IT WASN'T A PLANE BECAUSE IT DIDNT HAVE A RED LIGHT LIKE MOST DO AND THERE WAS NO SMOKE IN THE SKY BEHIND IT THERE WAS ALSO NO SOUND.AND THEY WERN'T FLARES FROM JETS OR ANYTHING BECAUSE I LOOKED ALL AROUND THE SKY AND NOTHING WAS THERE THEN IT WENT SOUTH OVER THE TREE LINE.

Rural town, with large radio/TV antenna on a hill. Mostly agriculture and little industry. About 30,000 inhabitants.

I was travelling with my two nieces in my car, heading for the town at about 11:20 AM.

About 10km out of the town I looked up at the mountains behind the town and saw a pencil thin cloud, tilted over about 35 degrees from the horizontal. There were no other clouds in the sky, except for a dirty grey puffy cloud behind me on the right hand side of the car.

I was looking at the cloud with my polarizing sunglasses on and could make out a head, or leading edge and a trailing edge. The cloud was pencil-thin, about two finger-widths wide and about 1000 feet above the town. I thought it was a vapour trail initially, but then i noticed that there was no disolving trailing edge and no growing leading edge. No jet in front either.

On arriving outside the town, i asked my family members to look at it and within about 10 seconds it completely de-materialised. It didn't dissolve or dissipate as clouds do, but simply became clear sky. I saw the same shape the following day over a different part of the mountain ridge, in the afternoon, about 13:15.

With my glasses on I could discern, what appeared to be a pulse, or wave form travelling down the length of the "cloud" from the higher leading edge, to the less brightly coloured trailing edge. The cloud appeared to be more metallic, than the grey colour usually associated with clouds.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

Not a natural-looking object. Stood out against the mountain ridge and was metallic looking with a distinct head and tail.

Around midnight on Saturday 5th August, my girlfriend and I were parking our car in front of our flat in Glasgow. As we made our way across the street, we noticed a light in the sky just below cloud level, approx 500-800 ft altitude. We Immediately realised that this was not an aircraft. It was orange in colour, glowing and moving across the city form south to north. After approx 5 secs., another light appeared from over the line of buildings, followed 15 secs later by another pair. These lights were clearly travelling together and in pairs.

All four were orange with what seemed to be a brighter nucleus. They moved silently and generally in the same direction with slight changes in velocity and formation. We obsereved looking directly upwards, towards the east and they passed from the south, continued north until disappearing from sight.

The most striking things thing were the intensity of colour, the generally low altitude and the lack of any sound. As we live near the flightpath of Glasgow airport, we easily recognise any aircraft because of their flashing lights and engine noise. These lights had no engine noise and no flashing lights, simply a constant pulsating glow.

We noticed that motorists on the main road were witnessing this phenomenon. I also captured the first pair on a 30 second video on my phone. This doesn't show them in great detail but gives a general impression of their altitude and movement.

Exhibited a combination of white and colored light emissions. The colored lights appeared to travel in a horizontal pattern from left to right but distance made this directional observation not absolute. ----It looked like the object described on TV in the Illinois sighting by police officers!!!!

Too far away to ascertain size but if I ventured a guess because of its position with regards to the river, I would safely say that it was very large.

My wife and I were traveling on a business trip and we were heading home on the Northway just north of Albany. We were just north of the bridge that goes over the Mohawk river and comming upon the Clifton Park area. My wife was sleeping and I was driving. The time was about 2 AM and there were basically no other cars on the highway at that time. I noticed a brighter that usual light in the sky just to the west of us. The object was a good distance from us ( maybe a mile or more) in the general direction of Albany airport. I looked for the lights that would indicate it was a airplane but I could see none. At that point it was just bright white that I noticed. To avoid an accident I slowed the car down to about 30 MPH and kept an eye on the object. I then noticed that it was exhibiting a variety of colored emissions. IT was at this point that I woke my wife up as I could not believe what I was seeing--especially at this hour of the morning. After telling her what was going on she leaned over to look out the driver side window to confirm that I was not loosing my vision. It was at this point after checking for any other cars comming form behind, that I stopped the car. We both noted the colored lights traveling from side to side and the general appearance of a horizontal --cigar shaped display. Distance prevented us from observing other detail but it was definitely not a plane. It did not have any lighting like a plane. We could discern no sounds being emitted either. The object which had been relatively steady in the sky ( maybe even appearing to follow the interstate), made a rapid move vertically and then it sped up and away from our view.

I am a highly educated individual with former top level clearances who would rather not have seen what I and my wife saw that evening. I have been trying to ignore it for years but after seeing the report on the Illinois sightings back in 2000 on television, I thought it my responsibility to at least make one other attempt at reporting it. Especially when one of the scientific consults to the incident made comment that these type of sightings are generally unsubstantiated after ten years. 1978 was a hell of a lot longer than ten years ago for me.

its was about 9 pm by the ranger tower and my uncle noticed a flash of light outside he whent to look at it . he came back and told my aunt to get the kids inside the bedroom i knew it was serious becouse my aunts were telling us to get down on the floor and be still then he whent into the cabnet in the garage and got out his 22 pistol and started walking twards the woods the yard was about 130 long then there was a lot of trees and long grass

as he got closer the thing took off straight up and dissapeared but it was like it was vibrating and then paused and poof it was gone thats all i remember about this i tried a couple of years ago to get details it must have scared the shit out of my uncle becouse he does not want to talk about it.

Whilst outside my home I noticed a white light in the sky it was moving across the sky but because there where alot of dark cloud's in the sky it could only be seen when in clear sky.it was bright white but did occasionally grow brighter.

I can definately say that it was not a natural object and I am positive it was not an Aircraft.the only other thing it could have been was a satellite/blimp or weather balloon.

My View's are CRYSTAL clear I have ACTUALLY seen and filmed Object's that are not unidentified but ACTUAL Alien craft I have film footage of them as Evidence.

To say that I am a fan of this subject is An UNDERSTATEMENT. Can you tell me if weather balloon's,blimp's and satellites are ALL WHITE in Colour?I would be most interested to know.

I couldnt sleep because I kept having a feeling that something or someone was in my house, so I got up and went to my upstairs back porch window where I saw the three flashing lights which after awhile of watching I noticed rays emitting from the lights. I kept trying to go back to my room and sleep but I kept on getting up and going back to the windows...I noticed the crickets were cripping loudly and then after awhile I heard the sound of a plane, so I just left and went back to sleep.

I was on my way to work in cisne illinois when to the north i saw some very bright rainbowish colored lights, they were brighter than any lights i had ever seen at first glance i thought it was a helicopter from a nearby airport,but i did a double take and noticed that it was far to large to be any type of human craft and the shape i had never before in the sky.I watched until it disappeared as fast as it had appeared.It was flying low to the ground and unlike an airplane it kind of hovered there.I just sat there in my truck until the shock had passed over.
