It was night-time with a very clear sky. I could see the airplane because of its wing lights and general disposition, after seeing airplanes my whole life. This was different, it seemed like just a light, a blinking light that bounced erratically back and forth. The location of these lights moved at a quick pace, and they were very bright. It seemed to be much further away than the airplane, it looked like it was close to earth.

Size of Object(s)

Since there were two different positions, the relative size for each would be less than half an inch. But the relative size for both positions combined would be about 10 inches or more. The actual size is too difficult to determine.

I don't know this sort of information as I am not qualified to accurately gauge it.

It was a beach with a very clear sky. No special buildings. Just the good old California coastline.

I saw a commercial airliner heading parallel to the shoreline, but halfway through its flight, which took forever, I saw a blinking light at the far left of the horizon that seemed to bounce back and forth between two positions in the sky zoom past the airplane by at least 10 times the speed of the airplane, until it disappeared into the far right of the horizon. I could hear the airplane but the object in question had no sound.

Could be a satellite or maybe two.

I was driving back from the beach with my friend Yanira from Ocean City Maryland. We were driving back north on Route 1 Delaware and we passed the Dover National Air Base about 10 miles where we both saw in the sky a giant mass of light over us. The object was at first glance a ball of fire but as we stared at it became more of a soild shape and round. As it passed us by for at least 3 to 5 seconds it faded out into the sky. The mass of the object was near the size of a mid size house... Hard to describe from seeing it on the road while driving to compare a size. The object itself was undeniable not man made. The time it all occured was at around 10:33 pm I had called my brother to see if he had seen it but he was to far back to even notice it or to actually see it happening. He was about 10 miles south back heading north as well. That is how I got the time of 10:33 from when I made the call to my brother. I had heard stories before of people seeing objects that are unearthly near the Delaware Air Base and now I can share my story.

The object could had been a plane but from what it was it could not have been a man made object. It mite had been a metor as well.

While observing with a small, wide field telescope I spotted what I thought was space debree. I at first saw one pinpoint of light traveling north to south, as it passed across the eyepiece i then noticed a second point of light. These lights moved together. I do not know the distance beween them but can only say I used a wide angle eyepieces, of 60 degress. These 2 objects fit with in 50 degrees of this eyepiece, just enough to track them both in the same field of view. These objects did appear to move as one unit the entire time i watched them I have sme figures that may help in identifying them The scope used was a 4 and 1/2 inch f4 wide field scope. eyepiece used was also widefield 60 degrees. 20mm. Which would put it at 20x magnification. I did not have setting circles so I do not know the elevation. But, these objects did pass by M13 which is in hercules. they were within a degree of it from my location. The amount of sky covered within this viewing was from anywhere north. And I lost track around scorpio as my scope is in a cradle mount and was hitting the back of the chair that I had it on. the entire time I view I guessing is 5 minutes. i did see a plane or jet pass in front of my scope as viewing ese objects also. It was in front of them. So they deffinitly were further out. These lights never blinked they stayed steadily lit. No flickering and no other lights emmiting from either of them. they moved so perfecgtly ogether that it did seem as one object, I didnt see anything between them that would suggest this.

On saturday 24th of November 1979 I was at home with my wife and our new baby. We were living in a top floor rented flat that had 2 full length windows with a glass door in between, which gave access to the balcony. Being the top floor, our balcony had no "roof", having no balcony above it. Hanging from these windows was a set of full length curtains.

I had been watching football on the television, with the lights out, and my wife had fallen asleep laying on the sofa. The time was very nearly 11.45 pm and most of the decent programmes on tv had ended. Earlier in the evening, the local weather forecast had predicted possible snow showers, unusual in Norfolk at that time of year, so being bored with the tv, I decided to check on the weather.

Now it had always been a sort of weird joke in my family home when I was growing up, that when anybody was asked what they were looking at out of the window, they would reply with, "Just seeing if it has snowed". This would be the response no matter what time of the year. Silly but fun. It made me smile to myself as I was getting up to go look.

Having gotten up, I walked to the window, opened the curtains, pulled them back behind me, to cut out the glow of the tv and stood looking out.

It was obvious that we had had no snow and looking at the sky it seemed obvious that we would not get any as the sky was very black and totally clear. Not a hint of cloud, with all the stars shining brightly. I must have stood there just looking up at the stars for 3-4 minutes when it appeared overhead from behind me. It was only in my view for maybe 5 seconds before it was obscured by the block of flats opposite.

It was a very bright circular looking object, off white in colour, with no other colouration or marks. It made no noise, or if it did I did not hear it and it travelled in a straight line. Oddly, at the time, it appeared to change its shape from circular to eliptical as it moved further away.

To say that I was shocked would be putting it mildly. As soon as it had gone from view, I recovered from the initial shock and stepped out onto the balcony searching the skies, but there was nothing. A quick glance down to the street to look for other witnesses was a waste of time. It was deserted, not even a drunk from the local pub. I then went back inside, excitedly woke my wife and tried to explain what I had seen.

Now I had always been fascinated by the thought of aliens and science fiction stuff, but this was most definitely not what I presumed a sighting would feel like. I had been excited, but shocked at what I had seen, but a bigger shock was my wifes reaction as I tried to explain and describe what I had seen. The excitement was very quickly replaced by an awful feeling of resignation that no matter who I told, nobody would believe me, as I had nothing or nobody to back up my story.

This left me feeling very depressed and so feeling quite dejected, I went to bed. It took me ages to get to sleep, mulling over what had just happened, but sometime during the night I resolved to report the event very first thing in the morning.

Sunday morning and I was off down to the public phone box, as we had no home phone line, but when I got there I was not sure of who to call. It made sense to start with the police, on the assumption that somebody else had seen and reported it. The initial response from the police officer was much the same as that of my wife the previous night, except it came over quite obviously that he considered me some kind of nutcase, laughing and asking about little green men.

Eventually I managed to persuade him that I was genuine, whereupon he informed me that nobody else had filed a report. He then said that he would log my call and perhaps a call to the duty officer at the local RAF base (Coltishall) might be more fruitful. It took a while to get through but eventually I spoke to someone who told me that nothing had been reported and that nothing odd or strange had been picked up on radar, but that my call, name and address had been noted. He then asked for more details about the size, speed and height of the object and to be honest it was not something I had thought about. I could only describe its size as looking like a "Harvest moon", the sort of big full moon you can get in September, but as regards the height and speed I was lost.

After finishing the call I walked slowly back home and thought about what the RAF officer had asked. How on earth can you gauge the speed and height of an object if its size is not known?

I did get to clarify one thing however, that of how the object seemed to alter its shape. It was flat or saucershaped. Experiments with a dinnerplate when I got back home confirmed this, but other than that I was resigned to the fact that I would never know.

All the same, I figured somebody else must have seen it as Norwich had about a quarter million inhabitants. So I wrote to the editor of the local paper asking if anyone else had seen it.

I did not put any specific details in my letter, preferring to let others corroborate with what I knew, rather than what I had written.

I got some replies, most were from loonies with the most fantastic junk they could conjure up, but a couple of others seemed genuine. I contacted these people, but their sightings although believeable bore little resemblance with mine.

Shortly following my letter, there was a wave of reported sightings that lasted on and off for a couple of months, but again nothing that matched what I had seen and eventually the whole thing seemed to die and was either forgotten or dismissed.

Was it alien or terrestrial? I have no idea, but one thing I do know for sure. If you do report a UFO then be prepared to accept ridicule from even your closest friends and family.

Since writing this I have been informed by a former RAF official that the radar at Coltishall could not have picked up anything like this anyway. Something about transponders or something like that. I cannot say.

I was walking home from a party one night at about 10:00 pm. It was an overcast night and there was no moon, only the streetlights that were lightning my way. I saw what looked like spotlights coming from the ground. This was near a house that was notorious for lighting on halloween, but it was May. So I looked more closely and saw they were coming from the sky down. Now i thought it was some type of aircraft but there was no noise so i started moving. As i look back i noticed the lights were the same distance away from me. So I started walking backwards and looking at the lights. Now they were definitely moving and spinning. By this time I am running home with hurried glances back. The lights were staying the same distance behind me. I was in no way intoxicated. I am sure of what i saw.

It had the appearance of looking at a boomerang, full-on, except this was was straight above me. It had alternating grey and black stripes. I was working a swing shift and took the city bus home. There is slightly more than one block to walk from the bus stop to my house. After walking a block, I was approaching my turn to go home. Because I like to engage in astronomy when I'm not working, I looked up to check out the sky. That's when I noticed something unusual. Something I have never seen, before. My first reaction was, "Oh - some kid is flying a kite!" It was boomerang-shaped, straight-up and not moving. The kite idea was quickly fading. It was grey, except for wide, black, verticle stripes on the 'wings'. I looked around for the string and the kite-flying kid and saw no one and no string. What was seen was a motionless, odd-looking object that seemed kite-high, about 50 feet. This was difficult to acurately determine, because the entire sky was evenly covered with grey clouds. But the grey on the strange object was decidedly darker. Several seconds passed - maybe a minute. Then it started to move, slowly, toward the direction I had come from. (As an FYI, continuing in that direction, one would eventually run into the San Point Naval Station.). It continued its slow departure until it reached a point where I assumed it had eventually disappeared into the clouds, because before it became a point, it had disappeared.

Not by conventional aircraft. One very interesting note to make is that this sighting was made long before boomerang and triangle UFOs became "popular" (frequent).

I am a computer server technician, working at Microsoft. I have had two years of community college, studying Electronics Engineering. I have always been involved working in computers, one way or another. I consider myself a rational person, who considers obvious natural explanations before the exotic. The only exceptions to this, are the satellites flying in formation, because I had never heard of statellites actually doing that, yet. I had been aware of NASA plans to fly satellites in formation in deep space. Maybe these were tests in that area. As noted elsewhere, I enjoy astronomy as a hobby and frequently study the planets and galaxies and nebulae. Because of this, I feel I know the difference between something that belongs in the sky and something that appears not.

a bug shell, ok do you remember the movie independence day and will smith and the greg blomberg guy drove that spaceship back after they implanted a virus in the mother ship.Like that but more of a bug shape with no lights but smaller.a New dark color grey never seen that type of dust grey blended with the sky. at other times a flat square shape,the one with the orange glaze lights was flat and curled up under the table as a child was lights a big shape light followed by smaller lights traveling together as if a mother leading her kids in a row like ducks do and i remember now that we were friendlly with another species they where big like people and they looked like big dogs that can talk use words and they had a scooter that can sore through the skies and they would come down and ride us on them,long before star wars.oh yes when i saw the star wars movies those bullets they use like fire is a demonstration of the fire im talking about and star wars is a movie i seen before it was played on the big screens or before it was even thought about. I always feel like someone is watching me ever since i was a kid especially through windows and during the daytime,it could be anywhere and i feel that way i feel safer at night than any other part of the day,although i sleep with my lights on in my bedroom,i feel like one day ill wake up and actually find someone standing in my room and i could see them .

when we moved to wilsonnc i was around 9 or 10 playing outside with my sister in the back yard and all of a sudden we saw something approaching us at high speed and slowing down i pushed my sister to come run with me and we hide on the side of the house and i was very frieghtened while peeping around the corner not to see but to hide as i looked around to see if my sister was on the other side of my body as if i was hiding her she was not there in fact she was hypnotized walking under the bug and that's when i can out afraid because she was not responding to me,communication began early once i first saw the bug,with my mind i was saying no,no,no,and it could hear my thoughts telling me know one sees us they are asleep(a hole community) is asleep or somehow the unseen but ship was saying this while i was thinking and running away at the same time,anyway,my sister and i always had a connection from the previuos site and it was strong. I always somehow felt i had to protect her,but on that day she was leaving going up slowly and i grabbed her and all i know was she was on a table and she was screaming like a scream never before it was piercing loud and those things was trying to comfort me from in the same room but behind a dark cornered wall, it was a couple of things trying to comfort me but i was screaming as well and they told me i was'nt suppose to be there and so one of the leaders told the smaller ones to take me out so they convensed me they had other important things for me to do and i told them my mom would be worried about us and they assured me that she does'nt even know we are gone.They fitted me and gave me a task to save there world by using therebigger ship in a war and i did it;s like the game galactica,those same pellets that come out of those game like fire shooting and they told me not to worry about my sister while i fought in the war,and won for them. I was given a medal ,met with official but there was no talking but mind communication is strong there.When i got back to where my sister was and she was ok,it was'nt so bad.I remember being asked the question to stay because they need me in the war which will break out again at another point but for now there was peace there.i asked what about my family and they said i could either stay or go,never to see my family again,It was a sad time because i saved a race and won a war and met some friends that was hard to let them go.i asked how long have we been gone and they said not long and i asked why? they said they could'nt tell the truth but they are working on things for later on down the road concerning the earth.We cryed and they hudled in a group and said they will always be there and somehow they will be watching my every move and if need be that i would know how contact them indirectly with (my mind goes blank)not remembering what it was,next thing i know we are going back home in a smaller craft and i drove back and we next thing i know was waving bye,Ilove you ,i'll miss you and i hope we don't get in trouble for this,my sister seem unaffected by them,quiet the whole while,i had to practically hold her hands to explaine to her let's go in the house,i remember my mom inside washing dishes and i asked her have we been gone a long time and she's like what are you talking aboutand i remember my thoughts became stronger,i suppressed my feelings for years except there were times in between when i could see them in the sky and i'd go hide under a table at night the presence was clear in those days no one really looked up but i could see them traveling across the skies and i would go hide and my family though i was strange and they would say what's wrong and i couldnt speak but i would point and they would'nt pay me know mind and i did it several times(2-3)as time passed by i became a teenager,girl,lady and i began to have dreams and they would come true or my intuition was sharpe,i could go just enough and know when to let go.I lost my sister she was murdered and some how they mentally told me through a dream,she was dead the day she died was the day i somehow could not keep up with her any other time if you see her you see me but that weekend was different,i could'nt do it anymore because she was keeping me out of her life and that day she left,i don;t know what happened except i had a dream about it and told mom we need to go to the police station that she has ? children lefted,that night i sat in the same spot waiting for her in the chair to make sure she came back in and the next day her boyfriend came by to ask if i seen her and i said she went to your house and he said she got mad about something and left,within the weekend time the monday we filled a missing person report and days later they found her body she was 13 and i was 15 anyway i saw bite and pieces of the dream and the sheriff came by to confirm it and they used my photographs in the newspaper to cover the story and they remade my clothes to be the clothes she was last seen wearing because we looked alike and dressed alike anyway i got a message mentally to say they(bug people)went to the site because they implanted her with a device and the device was alarming them that the device was out of the body no longer attached to the living but it had to be retreived,like a chip,they said it was small and black unnoticeable to anyone and from that day i'd suppress my feeling and thoughts became a loner except times when i saw or channeled my thoughts to give advice but sometimes you have to tell people in a loving way what would happen in the next5 years .I had dreams and met my husband,just a lot of strange things but yaers passed by and i became a mother,had a baby and for some reason my child growing up is always frightened but when i was pregnant the second time and my 1st was still a baby i remember a orange fog or glow come through the window and it literally put the whole apartment complex to sleep and at that same moment my 1st child was maybe 2 or 3 got out of his bed and saw me floating through the window while i was pregnant and i could'nt move but i could ask them questions like somebody is going to see you here and they responded verbally with thougths the glaze orange is for sleep and everyone now for this moment is asleep and it does;nt matter what they are doing now but they are asleep and i told them not to bother my child who could move and standing at the door,i told him to go back to his room mentally and i could see this happening and he's always been afraid of things even now.They some how was experimenting with me undetected up until i had carried a child for them after having my two children and somehow would'nt take it left me in pain like a death pain where you cannot walk and it affected my life, i'd go to the hospital,doctors and noone knew nothing as far as where or what was happening as far as the pain,(does it hurt here)?they told me i lost alot of kids from them and they would help me carry my chil the 2nd one because he wasnt going to take.As i get older i found myself not wanting to remember anything not wanting to get close to anyone,i'd take sleeping pills,alcohol just to try to get to sleep,i sleep with my bedroom lights on at night but one morning i done this about twice i was asleep with my eyes open through out the night not able to move i woke up and realized i was asleep throught out the night without moving and i told my husband about this and he does'nt know what ever.I have visions about saving people telling them over here because fir is falling from the sky and my house where i was was uneffected,i mean cars where crashing into poles and people was running everywhere and those that i could see where being burned and this was fire falling from the sky.as i look back i used to sit in a room with all the lights out trying to imitate the darkeness and i would be in a silence mode i did that during the teenager years and i tryed suicide after my sister death.Now, as a adult i dont look for anything but recently had a hystectomy because i've always been in pain since 13 and my doc told me i was born with one ovary he said he only saw one ovary maybe a birth defect but i know something like they(bug) took it and experimented with it and i refuse to hurt so i took them out to stop this process of taking something from me.Presently,I gave up alot of my business that kept me stressed so that i can get back to my old self again just watching the stars cross they skies at night(Fast) and recently just a 2 months ago i was falling asleep on my bed and i could sense a new type of alien,that is assigned to my life,the clouds in the sky can come down and come through my walls,ceiling as if they are sticking there heads down to look in and now they are made of a fine silky beautiful,matallic silver that can penetrate the likeness of invisibility and they now can blink and the question was asked to me while i was sleeping is she ready now? and i woke up and thats when i saw the blink and woke up in a short amount of time after dozing off in to a deep sleep within minutes,not under no influence of a sleeping pill or nothing but my conclusion is this.I feel like we come from some other place besides this and in that life i was very special(special) almost like a queen unlike the real day to day queens in this life but a special queen and anything i wanted it was done telepathy wise without communication with slaves i mean people that had a high remark about me and i can transform thoughts by using these slaves as servants and control them mentally. I miss my thoughts so much that peace is that just that not winning a war somewhere here on this earth but peace is silence and darkness and able to travel

It was very large, a huge, white, very bright light. It reminded you much of a diamond. When that white light gathered inwards, you coud see a ring of small red lights encircling the middle.

I can't tell you about size. It hovered over the sea, it seemed bigger than any other thing you usually see near to shore.

The ship was very near to the shore and it hovered slightly over the water.

The Caribbean sea near to Ponce, on Puerto Rico's southern coast, bordered by seaside restaurants, homes and small shops. At the time the island and the smaller islands off the southeastern coast were full of US military bases and sophisticated communication installations, radars, etc. Some of the larger Navy bases are gone now.

At sunset, the beautiful white-lighted ship hovered slightly over the calm waters of the Caribbean, without moving nor making a sound, for a long time. Enough time for me to notice it, to call out to family and friends. They paid no attention, but I stayed a good long while watching intently and inwardly asking: Please, if you are seeing me, if you know I'm here, please let me know.

The next second, the white encircling light beamed out even wider, then gathered back, and out again, and back again, slowly, softly. When the white light gathered back there was only

blurred space that I could see, plus a ring of small red lights encircling that space, around the middle. Then it beamed out once more and...disappeared. It did not go away, or dart off in space like I had seen other ships do, many times. It simply became invisible.

Absolutely not! Some time after that sighting I asked friends who live in that area about the ship. Some had seen it, some had heard stories about a big spaceship visiting daily. One man had seen huge round marks on the ground on top of a mountainous area that is a very rare type of tropical "desert", dry and with little vegetation, mostly of the cactus type. Hardly anyone ever wanders around there, and the man who saw the round marks commented, with typical Puerto Rican humor, "that must be the parking space for the ship these guys say comes to visit".

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I've been seeing the ships since I was 10. The first time was in New York City, in 1951. Three huge emerald-green, translucent disks glided over the Broadway brownstones as I watched from my window from a 9th floor apartment on 93rd St. They passed by silently, in triangular formation, first towards downtown, then uptown, then back downtown once more. It was early in the evening and I was baby-sitting my younger brothers, already asleep, so I had plenty of time to pay attention. When my Dad came back I told him what I had seen, but only got something like "That must have been lights from the airport"...From then on I kept the story to myself, for a long time. In the 70's there were waves of sightings in San Juan and in 1985, a new cycle started. By then I had joined a study group, led by a distinguished researcher and contactee. The following years there were sightings all over the island. I saw ships in the mountains, alongside the western coast, as well as in the southern and northeastern coasts.Most of those approaching people were rounded, or oval, bright orange lights. Most of those seen from afar, in the sky, often seemed to have blue, or green, or white lights.

Other Comments

Throughout the 80's and 90's I became confident enough to not only stay on the alert, but to open up to telepathic communication. One quiet moment, in the mountains, I visualized a mega-squadron of ships stretched out in space even unto the horizon. I even saw the profile of the pilot in the ship nearest to me. I couldn' help but ask:WHY? I was thinking of the incredible logistics required for such an operation, of the sacrifice it entailed, of the crew members I know they have lost. His answer was poetic, even rhymed. I can't convey it literally but I do remember the content, and it was very near to: "It's the Law of Love. When you love, when YOU ARE LOVE, you have to give yourself in service. Otherwise, you'd fall, you'd lose ALL.

I know that I know that Iknow ---these Brothers and Sisters have been rescuing us from our very worst dangers. This planet would be no more if they hadn't been hard at work on our behalf. They have said they won't intervene in our decisions, as our free-will is at stake here. But I'm sure they're trying very hard to buy time for us, to make it possible that we still have a chance to evolve out of the quagmire, that we still may wake up and become truly HUMAN.

I was in the car with my mother, sister and grandmother. My mom was taking my grandmother home, she lived in a building off of W. Lincoln Ave. in Mount Vernon. I was looking at the sky and noticed this large object that remained idol. I pointed to it, as in curiosity, showing my family. My mother could not believe it, fore it was our first UFO experience together. Already parked, running upstairs to my grandmothers 6th floor balcony, anxiously awaiting to see what, and how. My mother waving at the oject, yelling "take me...." just made me tear. I realized then that the universe is so big.

After the UFO flew away- so fast, my mother, sister and I bought potatoe chips, we went to a local open field, patiently waiting for another glimpse. I was young at the time and still remember this day as clear as yesterday.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No- this was definately a UFO

on a farm not near any airports, closest one was in calgary. didn't look at all like a plane though. on a bit of a slope in landscaping, kind of at the top of a hill, that's where I was laying.

pretty much exactly what I said, just on the farm looking at the sky and saw it. almost too fast to see. right above me, high in the sky. can't think of any other explanation for it.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

i don't think so. if it was, I don't know why it was outside of Black falds in Red Deer. never seen anything like it before that was man-made.

i'm not an ooky-spooky person. but i don't rule out aliens entirly. in alberta there isn't much of this kind of stuff ever.
