I saw a silver sphere that seemed to change shape and fly low over the bus I was in.

I noticed a small red light in the night sky above me and became fasinated by it. Because it seemed to be slowly turning in a circle, I had the distint impression that I could see only a small part of a much bigger object!  

THE OBJECT HOVERED IN ONE SPOT FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS. IT WAS UNDER THE CLOUDS. EVERY TIME AN AIRPLANE FLEW BY THE OBJECT FADED OUT THEN WHEN THE PLANE WAS GONE IT WENT BACK TO NORMAL STATE OF GLOWING. IT CHANGED COLOR AND SHAPE BUT WAS TO FAR TO DITINGUISH WHAT EXACTLY IT WAS.

This appears to be a crop circle in a wheat field on the farm where I live. The work (Crop circle) follows the outside perimeter of the wheat field and and "avenue" like event has taken place.
