The witness was driving home after a high school football game when he saw an enormous rectangular "aircraft" hovering above a golf course at close range. The craft gave off an incredible amount of white light. It was just above treetops (maples) within 600 yards, and had an estimated size of 150 to 200 feet long. No sound was heard. Close Sighting of Large Triangular Object

"Sitting on the passenger side of the car the witnesses were traveling in, witness 1 noticed a lighted, triangular object to his right. The object appeared to be about 250 ft on a side. The witness reported the triangle was equalateral, though his (inexact) drawing shows it as isosceles. It was not possible to discern a texture to the surface of the object. A bright white light was at each apex of the triangle underneath the craft." View full report

A couple were in their third floor apartment in North Sydney when they noticed three dim flashlight like beams above a large tree near their balcony. Witnesses saw a 30 to 40ft diameter saucer, hovering about 200 ft off the ground! . It was a classic disc shape with a dome on top. The [Chinese] air force had a prolonged up-close encounter with a UFO last month that one fighter pilot described as "just like ones in foreign movies," a government-controlled newspaper reported Thursday. Sphere-shaped object seen by witness in Salt Lake City, UT

At 3 AM on Sept. 15, 1998, witness Chris Rock stepped outside and fired his laser pointer into the sky toward west-southwest in the general direction of Jupiter. Within a minute or two, a gray, spherical object, with an apparent 7" diameter at arm's length appeared in the western sky, hovering over an adjacent building at a (measured) distance of 260 feet from the witness and 40 feet above the ground.
