Square-shaped craft seen and photographed in California
When I looked up there was a very large square-possibly triangular, depends if I was seeing it at an angle, machine/craft whatever you want to call it. It seemed to be spinning from right to left and making slow banking maneuvers.... To describe the object I would have to say it looked like a huge pizza box with lights on two of its seemingly 4 side panels that were opposite of each other.

Witness began hearing a deep throbbing hum and a triangular craft emerged from the treeline moving directly toward him. He stood still as the craft, estimated to be some 300 feet in length, moved over him.

Ex-airline pilot has close encounter with dome-shaped UFO in Brazil
I could see the shape of the object and it was the familiar "flying saucer" dome shaped object. I walked two hundred feet on the side of the road towards the object which was hovering low, no sound came from it... The object was quite large and I estimated it to be at least 70 feet in diameter and about 30 feet high. It was just hovering in the air at about 120-150 feet high."

"Through the bedroom window, we saw a bright round shining object stationary at a height of some 10 metres or so above the birch trees to the east... it was now immediately quite clear to me that I was looking at an unknown flying object... we could see its shape absolutely clearly."

From the witness: "We watched it hover for around five minutes. It was then that we noticed that the 'craft' wasn't making any noise. Normally, if it was a helicopter, we would have heard the blades. It then turned around and faced our direction. At the point of the photograph, it was about 200 to 300 feet directly above us. It was then that we heard the light 'pulsing hum' of the object."

From the witness: "...I saw a "flying saucer". It was standing to the left of me and has three legs. All around it were colored lights. At the bottom were stairs and illuminated windows. From the "Saucer" 15-20 meters away were standing four figures. They were 2.5 – 3 meters in height."

Knowles Family UFO Encounter in Mundrabilla, Australia
The Mundrabilla incident of a few years ago received much media publicity. The Knowles described how the UFO shot over their car and lifted it off the road. Their voices changed in pitch, the family dog in the car went crazy, and the car started shaking. The news media described the incident as a 'UFO attack' and reported that the car was covered by strange dust.

The cigar had windows along the side... three small disc-shaped objects (3-4 metres across) flew into view moving towards the object...They travelled very quickly, zigzagging to join the larger cigar... Mrs L said that she saw what seemed to be a shadow or outline of a head with a helmet on in one of the smaller discs..."

Suddenly Jarmo heard a humming sound obliquely from behind. He turned around. At an altitude of about two meters he saw a bell-shaped mini-UFO. Now he started taking photos of the UFO. It radiated blue light and moved forward descending and ascending. After having taken five photos he started walking toward the UFO. Then the UFO disappeared.

Construction worker sees massive disc-shaped object
A Pittsburgh construction worker and his girlfriend claimed they saw a massive disc-shaped object settle about 2,000 feet over Highland Reservoir. He estimated its size as larger than the reservoir itself. Paul Oles, program director for Buhl Planetarium, also saw a bright light which he "can't explain," about one hour earlier.

Mrs. Ethel May Field, 62, a housewife, had gone out to the back garden to take in washing from the clothes-line, when she heard a humming sound which prompted her to look at the sky. She encountered a round object with a dome on top. Standing inside the windows of the object were two humanoid occupants, one at each window.

Landing of dome-shaped UFO witnessed at close range in Kettering, Tasmania
A 39 year-old man in Little Oyster Cove encountered an extraordinary dome-shaped object which had landed. Through the windows of the metallic object, he saw a tall cylindrical object (which he likened to a ship's compass mounting) and 'motionless grey shapes' (like car seats with headrests seen from the rear), perhaps entities. The object rose slowly from the ground, then increased speed and was gone. The next morning, a circular patch of scorched grass was found at the site.
