Oval-shaped objects with portholes observed in France
On September 16, 1996 in the 5 hour old neighbourhoods, the witness in his car observes an ovoid [oval-shaped] machine [object] with three port-holes emitting a strong orange light. The object is stationary at an altitude of 30 to 40 meters and between 300 and 400 meters from the road. The somewhat frightened witness continues on the road and subsequently observes two identical objects higher in the sky. The objects observed were dark and their size estimated at ten meters length. No explanation was found with this close observation.

Car-stop UFO encounter near Velje, Jutland (Denmark)
A 24-year-old man was driving to visit his parents in Vejle in Jutland, Denmark, when he experienced a dramatic stopping of his car when a disc-shaped UFO with a powerful light hovered over his vehicle. The object was only 3-4 meters above the car, and he could see a number of circular lamps on the underside. After a short time the intensity of the light from the UFO diminished, and it slowly moved away and out of sight; he was able to start the car again normally.

Triangle-shaped object with lights hovers above, then follows car in Selestat France
The car leaves the city quickly but a little further finds the phenomenon in front of the vehicle: a triangle with the same type of light on the circumference came to be added to the circle. The triangle is equilateral 10 side meters approximately and altitude from 10 to 15 meters. The phenomenon accompanied the vehicle which ran to approximately 80 km/h while adapting at the speed and that on several km. During a change of direction the object accelerated and moved away.

Luminous rectangular object with lights in Nouzonville, France
On January 9, 1994 about 19:30 a young woman and her friend in the car observe a luminous rectangular form in the sky. Having stopped their vehicle, they observe this form which is illuminated with white and red lights. Having lost sight of the object, they go in the car to find a better point of observation. Again stopped, the young woman observes an oval-shaped form with the same red and white lights which then seems to come in its direction.

Large cylindrical object with cupola and portholes in Duclair, France
On January 12, 1989, a woman at the wheel of her car observes with approximately 30 meters with the top of the marshes an “enormous” cylindrical form comprising at the top a cupola emitting a yellow light and a series of red luminescent port-holes and white at its base. With its passage, the object disappeared and reappeared a few seconds later much higher in the sky. The observation lasted a total of only a few seconds. The investigations did not make it possible to collect other information nor to identify the phenomenon.

Knowles Family UFO Encounter in Mundrabilla, Australia
The Mundrabilla incident of a few years ago received much media publicity. The Knowles described how the UFO shot over their car and lifted it off the road. Their voices changed in pitch, the family dog in the car went crazy, and the car started shaking. The news media described the incident as a 'UFO attack' and reported that the car was covered by strange dust.

From the witness: "I grabbed the binoculars and looked at it. This time I could see a distinct shape. It was like an ice-cream cone pointing upward. The flat part of the cone was facing the earth. On the back of the cone was what looked like a small hull or house or hut of some kind. It was about a fifth of the size of the cone itself. Out of this hut came a very faint blue light. It passed directly over our heads at about 15 MPH. That’s how slow it was going."

David and Susan McMurray were driving home across Bagshot Heath, Surrey, to Famborough, Hampshire, with their two children when they encountered a "huge saucer-like craft about 50ft. long with brilliant lights coming from portholes around the centre. Then it suddenly took off." When a second craft began to tail the family's car David stopped, got out and went to investigate. But it too, took off.

Multi-colored flying object paces family in Temuka, New Zealand
Mr. and Mrs. Thew were returning to Temuka (New Zealand) from Pleasant Point with their three daughters when a multi-coloured flying object paced them along the Waitohi Road in the early hours of the morning of July 12, 1981, approaching to within 120 yards of their car and changing colours as it went. It was estimated to be around 32ft in diameter, with a height of 15ft, and with windows around the object.

From the witness: "It was approximately the size of a high school football field, but not quite as wide. It had lights on each end and in the middle with blue square lights all across the back end of the wings.... We noticed that there was absolutely no sound at all and that it didn't fluctuate or "flutter" and that it just floated in the air. We saw structure, that is we saw the body of the vehicle. No rivets or seams, just the silver/grey color of the body."

"It was less than 100 yards away and about 200-300 feet up, and they could see through the red halo as the bright light "had been swung away" from them. Like a large hamburger bun, the color of "dirty brass" it had a base of about 25 feet, then an outer flange. The diameter of the body of the craft, they feel, was 30 feet. A "belt" of square-shaped windows circled the object."

Photograph of disc-shaped flying object near car in Argentina
Antonio Le Pere snapped these two photographs through the driver's window of his car as he was proceeding along route 226 near Balcarce. A disc-shaped metal-looking flying object approached the automobile and kept pace with him from a position only a few hundred meters to his left. Le Pere took the pictures through the rolled down window on the driver's side of the car.

On 5 July 1972, 27-year-old Maureen Puddy saw a ufo on the Alooraduc Road near Frankston, in Victoria, Australia. The object was a huge blue disc, which hovered above, her car as she returned from visiting her son in hospital. Twenty days later, at almost the same spot, it returned. This time it seemed to drain power from the car, causing it to stop; indeed, the car appeared to steer itself to the roadside. A voice in her head told her, 'All your tests will be negative.' It then said: 'Tell media, do not panic. We mean no harm..'

Danish police officer has two close encounters (the Maarup sightings)
Danish police officer Evald Maarup was driving through the countryside near Hadersley, when he encountered a brilliantly lit UFO. Suddenly there was a fierce light beaming down on him, his car engine cut out, and the car lights and his radio stopped working. Above him, Maarup could make out a large circular object which he watched for about five minutes, before it moved away rapidly. Three years later, Maarup had another encounter with the same or a similar object at exactly the same place.

Disc with dome hovers over car along rural highway in Tennessee
The witness was driving back to college with his roommate. Theirs was the only car on a long stretch of rural highway between Paris and McKenzie, Tennessee. Suddenly, they saw streaks of light coming from the top of their windshield; they stopped the car on the road and got out. Directly above their car was a round disc-like object with windows. It had a raised dome "cockpit" in the center of the top half. It was hovering and spinning effortlessly about 200 feet directly above them.
