Family in car observes saucer-shaped object with lights hovering over trees, Orsay, France

On February 2, 2002 around 7 p.m. 40, a family in the car observes a mass illuminated in the shape of saucer. This mass is of gray color with white luminous lights on its periphery. The phenomenon is stationary above the trees with a diameter estimated by the witnesses at about fifteen meters. No noise is perceived during the observation which was stopped because of the profile of the road. No explanation could be brought to this phenomenon. View full report

In the night of July 3, 1997 at 4 a.m., a witness in his sailing ship observes an intense gleam which goes down quickly during 2 to 3 seconds, stabilizes itself a few moments before moving out again very quickly horizontally to disappear in 2 or 3 seconds approximately. The witness calls his two fellow-members who were sleeping to announce his observation to them when they are witnesses to a second phenomenon in the form of yellow rhombus ochre with lights on the tops. Oval-shaped objects with portholes observed in France

On September 16, 1996 in the 5 hour old neighbourhoods, the witness in his car observes an ovoid [oval-shaped] machine [object] with three port-holes emitting a strong orange light. The object is stationary at an altitude of 30 to 40 meters and between 300 and 400 meters from the road. The somewhat frightened witness continues on the road and subsequently observes two identical objects higher in the sky. The objects observed were dark and their size estimated at ten meters length. On September 12, 1996 around 8 p.m., a mother and her daughter in their car observe an object made up of an ovoid [oval-shaped] skirt [?] and a surmounted cylinder on a dome with three lights (port-holes?) sharp red. On the cylinder, a fluorescent green light turned like a gyrophare [?]. The object, silent, was suspended 4 meters off the ground and approximately ten meters from the road. Its size is estimated as two cars [size] approximately. The object disappeared at the end of a few minutes. The phenomenon observed was not explained. View full report

Having stopped their vehicle, they observe this form which is illuminated with white and red lights. Having lost sight of the object, they go in the car to find a better point of observation. Triangle-shaped object with lights hovers above, then follows car in Selestat France

The car leaves the city quickly but a little further finds the phenomenon in front of the vehicle: a triangle with the same type of light on the circumference came to be added to the circle. The triangle is equilateral 10 side meters approximately and altitude from 10 to 15 meters. The phenomenon accompanied the vehicle which ran to approximately 80 km/h while adapting at the speed and that on several km. During a change of direction the object accelerated and moved away. On January 12, 1989, a woman at the wheel of her car observes with approximately 30 meters with the top of the marshes an “enormous” cylindrical form comprising at the top a cupola emitting a yellow light and a series of red luminescent port-holes and white at its base. With its passage, the object disappeared and reappeared a few seconds later much higher in the sky. The observation lasted a total of only a few seconds. I could see the shape of the object and it was the familiar "flying saucer" dome shaped object. I walked two hundred feet on the side of the road towards the object which was hovering low, no sound came from it... Soviet merchant ship UFO sighting in the Mediterranean

The following is the UFO Report of Alexander G. Globa, a Russian sailor and engineer, who observed a UFO over the Mediterranean Sea at close quarters through binoculars in June 1984. This report was included in a declassified CIA UFO File on Soviet UFO sightings. The UFO reminded him of 'an upside-down frying pan' and had a grayish metallic shine. The lower portion of the craft had a precise round shape, its diameter no more than twenty meters. Many lights illuminated its bottom portion. View full report

The picture was taken in the early 1930s by the sender's grandfather, who lived in Alaska. The entitiy was first seen when the grandfather was on his way to a lake. He chased the entity until he got close enough to take this one picture. It was some four months before the photograph was developed, being in in a remote, sparsely populated area. The sender received the picture from his grandfather only last week. His grandfather died the day after giving him the photo, and relating his story. View full report

Airliners Paced by three UFOs (The Killian Case)

The sighting of three glowing objects by several airline crews February 24, 1959 is one of the most thoroughly investigated (and, ironically, one of the most controversial) on record. The key witness, Capt. Peter W. Killian, was interviewed by NICAP personnel. A detailed investigation report, including weather data, air navigation maps, etc. , was submitted to NlCAP by the New York City Affiliate. Through the [6 power] telescope the object presented a larger disc but the brightness did not appreciably increase... In level flight the object seemed to dart from side to side in an oscillating motion without diminishing of forward speed...Its dive from an extreme altitude at possibly meteoric speed, its deceleration, leveling off, and circle of the city twice indicate that it arrived from interplanetary space and was under intelligent control." Knowles Family UFO Encounter in Mundrabilla, Australia

Their voices changed in pitch, the family dog in the car went crazy, and the car started shaking.
